Here are the boys: Brenton- Goofball, Elijah- Bookworm and Parker- Cheerful. I randomed their traits using Pinstars Generator.
You can't really tell but Abbie has Red hair and light green eyes and Nathan has Blonde hair and light blue eyes. Brenton got really pretty blue eyes and Elijah has darker green eyes. I wound up dressing the twins almost alike except they have different colored hats so I can tell them apart. With their hats off, you can see they look different but dressed the same with hats they look alike.
Sorry for the spam but I can only post so many pictures per post. Okay well one more. Here is an update on the house. It has been changed some more since this picture but it is the last picture I have. When I get into the game I will take some more pictures.
And this is how far I have come in the challenge:This was my progress after 13 days. 19,970 is the total since you probably can't read the picture. The Jenkins have been busy LOL.
I am not sure why these pictures are so small. They used to post bigger. If someone can tell me what I am doing wrong I would appreciate it. Maybe I should sign up for the consortium? And post my story there but as I have said I am really not much of a story teller. As of last night their total worth jumped to 24,391 since now they live on a bigger lot and I have added a second floor to the house.
Nathan is now working as a computer tech and changed his lifetime aspiration to Computer Whiz. They are both working on the garden in their free time. So far I love this challenge. It is fun.
No limit on how you make your money. The only exclusion is a Mod or Cheat to add funds to the household.
Earned traits are allowed as long as the Satisfaction Points are earned in game.
Ohh thank goodness I didn't cheat then Thanks for watching and sharing the videos @EuphorialQueen. It's very much appreciated. I hope I keep making content you might like
Sounds awesome! Thank you Hope it's something you find entertaining. I've read your stories. You're a witty and generally awesome writer. I look forward to keeping up with Nataly, Gavin and the rest.

Okay well that was simple enough. Thank you. I was using the thumbnail instead of the regular img picture. Sheesh.
For shorter challenges to give my brain a rest from legacies, I thought the One Room Challenge sounded interesting, Mooch off Your Neighbor, Homeless, Asylum and 3 little Sims.
Some other challenges on my list includes the Prettacy Challenge using Handsome Noble as the Sim (you can get him off the exchange by searching for Handsome Noble). Randomacy and Prosperity are also on my list. Looks like I am going to be busy for a while LOL.
Oh and then my own Prettacy using a Sim I made Shelby Brewster (only allowed one child per generation) and another challenge that I adapted for Sims 4 is similar to the Rainbow Challenge but you also use colors to make decisions about that generations jobs, skin color (as much as is possible in Sims 4), eye color and clothes colors. I also make their bedrooms that color too. Anywho, I have a little more work to do on it and then I have to play test it but I like it because it really tests out the genetics in the game. If anyone is interested I can post it.
New challenges are always interesting @Glimmer50 Adding goals to game play can make it more interesting in the long run.
Hope you can get yours to test well and will post on the forums.
Just gave the Room Challenge a try. Reminds me. Of an Asylum Challenge - Party of One. Keeping a Sim confined to a defined space is easy. Keeping them from being Sad and Lonely is a whole other matter. The final goal is to complete the Mansion Baron Aspiration. I almost completed stage 3 with a lot value of around 190k. Poor guy was writing books and painting his heart out. Sobbing and whimpering for a majority of the time.
I think I'll give this challenge a shot! And maybe document it a little on tumblr/wordpress. Does anyone have any tips/suggestions on which career paths are good to make money through?

Hello and thanks for considering this challenge.
My go-to careers are the Tech Guru, Writer and Astronaut careers. These seem the best money makers in my opinion. Tech Guru and Writer careers carry over well for the Elders while Astronaut is a bit strenuous for them. Just take your time and play it in the way that is the most fun.
A link to your tumblr/wordpress would be fun to follow.
I've decided to try this challenge out, and let me just say that the word "challenge" is the correct title for it. However, it is so much fun! My female young adult, Mandee Williamson, has been napping on park benches her whole life. I've never made it to a loading screen, I just go go around my lot as far as I can. I've been using the public bathroom, which gives her a "So Gross" moodlet. I finally gained enough money to buy a shower, replacing my sink that I used for hygiene. I go to the town grills, and (if I'm lucky) sometimes the neighbor will cook a meal for everyone! I'm saving up for a bed. Since needs are so low, I don't have time to rack up money by fishing. I have a garden in my front yard that consists of apples (which you can't eat directly in the Sims 4 like you used to be able to, you can only cook with it), strawberries (can't eat them either), mushrooms (can't eat them either), a trash plant (I'll explain later), and bluebell flowers. Since I can't eat any of this, I just sell them, which gives me a decent amount of money, I guess. I got the trash plant on accident, but it still gives me money. If you leave a pile of trash on the grass, it will eventually turn into a plant. I'll update soon.

The beginning is always the hardest. But once you get on a roll it will get better. I am looking forward to hearing about Mandee's progress. Have fun! - EQ
I went with the Painter career to start with since I figured I would be able to make a good amount of money with selling paintings (which I have, now that the skill is maxed). It does really get easier once you get started, it seemed like as soon as I could afford to put up some walls and buy decent furniture I started making so much more money.
@Cultures Glad you are getting along better now. @TheSims Hard to believe it is already December 1st. In the Midwest US it is getting frosty and freezey Brrrr
Some interesting strategies are being used to play this challenge and the game in general. I am enjoying the discoveries shared by other players.
The goal of the Rosebud Challenge is primarily to complete the in game Rosebud achievement by (almost) any means necessary.
The primary guidelines:
Fresh household with Zero skills.
Life span on Normal.
Totally Empty lot with nothing but a mailbox and a trashcan.
Reduce Starting Funds to Zero Simoleons.
These guidelines can be tweaked to suit your game play style with the only exception to use NO Money Cheats.
You can place additional restrictions or personal rules if you like.
My own personal style changes from household to household. I hate to see my Sims suffer so will do my best to keep them happy. Sometimes that may require use of the Mood potions. I do reserve (personal preference) the use of the Youth Potion for after they become Adult to keep them as active contributors. I choose to Move In potential Housemates/Spouses instead of Marriage. This prevents the unfortunate Young Adult in my household from Marriage to a Near Elder. Most of my household member Sims live a long and happy life until the Reaper pays a visit. The ones (usually invited in from the neighborhood population) who begin to annoy my Sims (or especially annoy me) are booted to the curb! I nicknamed this #CutThroatSims style when they suddenly are relocated to merge with another household.
After a couple of generations I scout the neighborhood (Manage World) to keep it fresh. Some "Not In This World" households are merged with existing ones or moved into a house of their own. And some .... well ... cease to exist.

Here is the beginnings of a fortune started. It took both of them to keep the garden going.
