help i sound really dumb but how do i make a forum post? i had a challenge idea i wanted to try, do i have to wait until i become a member to post it in the forums?
@iridescent Not a dumb question at all
But first you should plot out how your challenge will work.
How to begin, how to play, goals to meet and how to complete the challenge are all important points to consider.
Play thru the challenge at least once to see what works and what doesn't work.
A challenge with clear goals and workable achievements will gain more attention.
Giving credit is a common courtesy. If you use ideas from other challenges please give credit to the challenge creator.
There are several threads on how to become a Member and how to start new topics.
*I cannot get to the links but can add them later.
I just started a apocalypse challenge! im actually writing a story about it too. check it out if you would be intrested since i've seen a real lack in Apocalypse stories.

Does anyone have any suggestions for challenges? I really want to start a new one.
Try CHALLENGE MASH-UP BY EUPHORIALQUEEN! It seems like a good one! Or maybe the rosebud challenge?? If you're looking for a long one you can do a legacy challenge like decades, 100 babies, disney princess!
The episodes I wrote when testing them are also up on Jen's Storyboard in my Siggy. Also if you get them finished and display the goals some along the way I will make you up a banner for each one you complete.

Hi everyone! I have a new challenge I am going to start soon, so I thought maybe I should share it!
The Sims 4 Gold Digger - Mortality Challenge:
Your young, specifically a young adult, and are to lazy to work for your position in the upper class. So what do you do? Murder and Divorce rich people to climb the ladder of society. You need to earn $1,000,000 simoleons by killing off members of different households in unique ways. With your trusty sidekick, will you make it to the top? Or will your criminal tracks show and ultimately lead yourself to a prison cell.
Your sim, male or female, must kill enough of the other sims around them so that their bank balance is over or 1,000,000 simoleons. Each household your sim targets must have at MOST 150,000 spare simoleons. You are not allowed to take the value of the sims house with you meaning that your sims at the minimum has to kill at least 8 different households to reach the goal (warranted they don’t spend all of the original 20,000 given at the start of the challenge by default).
They must kill sims in these 10 unique ways:
By old age
By Embarrassment
By Anger
By being Drowned
By being burnt by a fire
By being electrocuted
By physical exertion
By Starvation
By Cow-Plant
By electrocution
Cheat buffs are allowed if the person does not die in the timespan of 24 hours via burning to death, for example. If after 24 hours the fire does not start, you are allowed to add the buff [stats.set_statcommodity_Buff_BurningLove_StartFire 7] at the start of every hour until the fire actually starts and the sim begins to die.
Your sim must have a “matchmaker” that guides you throughout this process. The matchmaker shows you new homes, keeps your killing a secret and most importantly, introduces you to the wealthy elite of the sim world. The matchmaker is a good friend of yours, but she does not need to be played that often. The only times she is in your gameplay is to introduce you to sims and to move households for you. She cannot assist in the murder and can only watch from afar.
Your sim must have a house where the Matchmaker and themselves can rest and live in whilst moving houses.
Your sim must cover up all evidence of them being at the victim’s house. This includes:
Replacing all the furniture and appliances you’ve touched/used
Cleaning out the fridge of any meals you have cooked
Bribing any maids or gardeners if they see the death
The grim reaper is also a problem your sim has to avoid. He asks for a 20,000 bribe every time you kill someone, as he can easily call the authorities. Bribes to maids/gardeners can go from 1,000 to 50,000, but you are also allowed to kill them if you put them in your world, making you regain the money they took. (Reminder the 20,000 rule still applies when you kill the maids/gardeners).
Notes:
Bribes are basically deducting the money from the household funds. That’s all. You do not need to physically give it (not possible but still, don’t judge me)
The cheat for deducting/giving money is [testingcheats true], then [money (insert figure needed)].
In a household there can be other sims, however the fine still applies to those, so I recommend putting lots of sugar momma’s/daddies with mansions around your world. Households also need a daily gardening and maid service regardless of if you play them or not. You can start these services when you place the households/sim in your world when you regulate the amount of money they have. You do not need to pay the bills of the house when you go into it. Additionally, you can try to break up the couple your trying to kill by divorce or enemy status, but your sim needs to radically anger one sim and have a reason as to why they are getting divorced (i.e affair or doing woohoo right infront of their faces)
When your sim joins the household (because they need to kill the people inside of it), all of their expenses will come out of the household’s funds and not their own.
They do not to have a certain skill level but they need to have the mansion baron aspiration, materialistic + jealous + romantic qualities and they should look quite attractive (although up to you, I find making the character quite good-looking and glamorous makes the challenge have some backstory and assists in engulfing you into the story).
Sims can be on any scale of the gender and sexuality spectrum. Maybe making a transgendered sim would be cool!
And the last thing is to have fun with it! You could make the challenge set in Oasis Springs, and turn the world into a Spanish Gated community that’s really rich and opulent, or a Louisianan style world where massive colonial mansions are dotted around Willow Creek and it’s a very “southern belle” type of place. Use your Imagination! If you want to play the challenge with a strong storyline or via the technical side either way is fine.
I know a TON of challenges like Gold Digger and Black Widow do exist but I feel like my one is kinda good (the blend between the two) and I love sharing my ideas with the sim community!
@oliverisamazing I have some questions about your challenge.
But first I highly recommend you start a thread in this section. This will allow for better discussion and feedback.
Thank you in advance. I will hold my questions and comments to add to the new thread.

Thanks! I thought this was the best way to approach the challenge if someone was interested in doing it for the The Sims 4.
