Sims 4 made for kids?

Why is it that the sims 4 looks and feels more dulled down from the COS and even the sims you make?
-Things i see wrong with this game so far-
1. No sliders
2. No custom colors/ create a style
3. No open world=loading screens
4. No animated hair/looks like a block of hair
5. No customization of hair color
6. No eyelash length/ looks like a strip of hair
7. No favorites
8. No full face make-up
9. No animated eyeballs/ eye and skin looks all as one
10. No good graphics/ sims look very cartoonish
If anyone can tell me why the graphics look so bad in this sims please do tell me because going from sims 3 to this looks like a big drop, taking that u have not even half the COS did in sims 3 with out addons. If it's just because it's a demo then fair play on the clothing and other things wrong with it, i just think when u make a game maybe you should build the game on top of the old bones of the last one taking most of the good things u had in it to the new game.

What's wrong with plastic or Pixar? Those happen to be two of my favorite things; having them both in Sims 4 is just pure win.
The other stuff I either can't refute or agree with.

As far as I'm concerned it always spoils the sims.
The hair in Sims 3 is fine (although I don't get certain hairstyles...) and in Sims 4 I actually really like it.
It suits the style.
