First Sim Build Plans! «12345...Next Go

I have not tested or touched the new sims game, but from what I have learned after quite a good bit of research, I have come to decide on what I want to build first on my lot.

The plans involve the use of the curved balcony around the entire building, creating the illusion of a round building. The interior is very simple that puts to use the round exterior. The lot itself is going to be modeled after those "alien" markings we see in random fields around the world. If I am to build this for a particular Sim, it's going to be Space enthused simmers.

Which brings me to my question to the Simunity Builders. What do you plan to build first?

Include images if you'd like! After the release date, I want to see the first builds in this discussion! I am definitely posting images of my first build, one way or another!

I have long had a desire to build a castle, I've done a castle in Sims3. But you first need to see the possibility of the fourth Sims.

I can't wait to build a nice house. I never built houses on the other games because it was too complicated to get it just right, but it looks simple, so I'm going to try it out.

I have 2 homes in mind. I would like to first build an old Victorian Style home and then I would love to create a New York style Brownstone.

I haven't decided yet. At first I planned to create a house which fits to the New Orleans -style Willow Creek, but I probably want to test those pre-designed rooms and create something modern, because that modern furniture in Sims 4 looks really good.

The furniture and furnishings in sims 4 does look great @temes It will be great to use the pre-designed room in our builds.

I've sketched out my house design and am looking forward to recreating it. It uses many of the pre-designed rooms which I've seen on the internet.

I mostly did moderns for TS3 so I guess I would start with that, lol!

The first thing I'll do is play around with the pre made styled rooms, and try to make a house with each style of them.

I haven't actually planned a house yet - I've been too busy tearing up over the ease of use for the roofing tool. Bless. That was my *biggest* roadblock to creating in all the previous sims titles. I just can't wait to get in and play. Ugh. Two more weeks, really?

The roofing tool in sims 4 does sound great @MomGinny It will make it easier and enjoyable doing roofs.

I think I will first get used to the new building tools first before I start building. I imagine I would go for a modern first. Not sure at this point. I always build things that I find most inspiring at the moment.
