I didn't even have to open up my origin this morning to know I haven't got it. So I'm killing time while drawing. I just really hope that the demo get's released when it is said it would, and that the release date wasn't made up by a joker who just wanted to get everybody worked up for the 12th, because well, myself, I only found out when the date was via the forums, I haven't seen anything official from the sims 4 team or whoever handles the demo.
Still demoless and refuse to preorder until I get to try the demo.

Exactly, in my opinion, if the demo was ready to go out to a select few, then it was ready to go out to everybody, they'd be doing themselves a favour as well as everybody else, they would be getting more feedback, and they would be making people who want the demo happier. Simple, and easier for everybody.
Exactly! If it was Ready For a select few, It was ready for us. Why can't they give give it out already?! Its not like we get Anything different. And IMO, We waited Long enough Already.
I'm pretty certain it's going to be released after gamescom. The demo is already having problems and they can't risk the servers crashing at such a huge event. So probably from the 13-17th is a pretty good chance of the worldwide release.

I'm also thinking that if the demo isn't released on August 12th people are going to be even more infuriated, even if the date hasn't been confirmed by anyone yet. I know most people have their hopes pegged on that date and the Gurus and EA might be in for another round of hate if it's not released by then. Just a hunch.
I'm in classes until 6pm tonight, I'm hoping when I get home today that there will be a demo sitting in my origin launcher ready to download. And then spend the whole weekend playing it, already have supper in the crockpot so I don't even have to stop to cook.

Still thinking they're not going to release until after Gamescon because they don't want to risk a crash.
