Karritz - yes - thank you , I did get it to download right after I posted that. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing. It fits perfectly with the look of Rflongs Haunted Valley II world as well as MH.

I took a more up-to-date photo of the "Now" version of the venue. This one shows the sun room that I added to the left side of the mansion.

    Best Regards,
    Nik

I like the sunroom with the greenhouse roof. We don't usually have rooms like that here. Our sunrooms tend to have no walls to let the cool breeze in.

Thank you for posting in the thread. :D

Karritz we have the ones you speak of too - they are called Breezeways and usually are area with a bit of a roof but no walls - mostly archways - that are between two rooms or buildings. The one like in the picture with glass walls and roofs is generally refered to as a solarium when it is connected to a house as part of the living areas. They can be on ground or up n a higher floor even. My aunt had one - a huge 24 by 48 foot room on the third floor of her Victorian Plantation house she restored that I just loved. She called it the Conservatory - but it was listed in the real estate add as a solarium. She grew lots of hanging plants and small indoor dwarf fruit trees in hers and had wicker furniture in it as well as a cast iron chair and table set for lunches in that room. Some of the glass windows opened so you could get a breeze if you wanted but the house is in Savannah, Georgia and it was usually too hot out to open windows. There were huge ceiling fan in there and eventually aunty had AC added to the "Consrvatory". I used to like to go in there at night and star gaze while laying on the cool Italian marble floor. It was an amazing room. Always my favorite place to go at my aunts house. I tried to be the best niece ever so I could visit often.

My cousins and her family live there now. My aunt just likes to restore houses I think as she never lives in them herself for too many years. hehehe

Hi Puncky. I agree your build is stunning.

I'll get you onto the front page when I next have my computer on and can do links and things. I'm on the way to work now using my iPhone.

Thank you Karritz. Love your threads.
When you place the link on page 1 will you please be so kind to change the name of my build in "the Manor" instead of 'the Mansion"?

Hi Puncky - I finally got my computer turned on. I have now updated the first page for you. Sorry for getting the name wrong. I was struggling with the phone and wanted to try to give you some acknowledgement for being in the thread - even if I wasn't game to try to retype the URL. I copied it in there now so I hope if works.

Thank's for posting here. The more builds we have in the thread the better I think.

I am enjoying everyones pictures of what they are doing with the set. It was funny the day after that set came out there was a picture in the news of a Haunted House in Illinois a whole lot like the mansion in this set. I thought it was funny that a real haunted house simmers can now build was in the news right after the set came out at the Sims 3 store.

Heather3184 decided to build it. She's working on it now. :D

    Her inspiration:

    What she has right now:

    [ETA & for spelling.]
She has a lot of cool spooky houses. She did the Addam's Family, and Batman's Lair (scroll down and there's a button that links to Wayne Manor), and even the house from Chucky.

Don't rush because of me. :D I'm just pushy. Sorry.

I really won't hold it against you if you don't want to post - or can't do it for ages yet.

It took me weeks to get my first bakery up and I was trying to make the thread - so I really can't talk.

I'm surprised I got something up so fast with this set. But I have other things to do now unfortunately. :(
