I've never made a story though, so that'll be different. I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with that aspect of it once I get playing, but I can at least playtest it for you and give feedback and strategy info.
Hi. I'm Danger. I like spaceships, Pringles, and cats. I dislike fruits and vegetables, sunlight, and the motion picture Titanic. I do not own a sword, nor do I know how to draw unicorns. As you can see, I don't have much to offer the world.
Okay, good idea! especially if I only get four.
The only reason I wondered is if people keep joining late it would go on forever...maybe I should make a sign up due date...even that I will make a ways away.

It would be a good idea to have a sign-up due date. Maybe sometime in May like the 15th or sometime near that date. It would give them a little bit longer and the sign-ups wouldn't go on for long. Or maybe sometime near the end of May. A date that would give people time to sign-up, but wouldn't be too far away.
Well, it could count as strategy, but it does give you an advantage. This is just an idea, but what if only your founder was a supernatural and he had to marry a human and the heirs could only be human? Then again that is pretty difficult because you have a 50/50 chance of getting a human child out of that. I'm not exactly sure whether that would be fair or not. Very confusing because it could count as both.
How about we stick with your founder has to be human until we figure out whether or not that would fair because this is confusing. On one hand it is an advantage, but on the other hand, it could count as a strategy. I don't know which one it would more likely.
funny, I was thinking the opposite..that the heirs would have to be the supernatural so that they have a long lifer too.
I kind of want to say no supernaturals since the lifespan is what makes it challenging...but I don't want to limit the creative aspect.
The best would be if you use mods to scale down the longer lifespan a little, but since I personally hate mods I will not deduct anything if you are unwilling. It would just make it more in the spirit of the challenge.
I will decide within the hour, I just need a little time to think.

Okay, how about if the founder and the first heir must be human, but any spouses and the following heirs can be supernatural. I thought since all the generations have different things that are challenging about them, and the first two are about living long enough to have an heir, this allows you to implement supernaturals without eliminating the challenge.
Does this sound fair to you?

That sounds fair. You still get a 50/50 chance, but it actually is a good way to put it into the challenge as a strategy. Moonlight Falls, recreated with my sims and pre-mades moved out and deleted, here I come.

YAY! Thanks Danger!
Yay!
Bump for more!
Please drop a quick word, it's hard to see what/if anything needs changing without feedback!

Okay, sign ups are closed on May 31, 11:59 Pm Eastern Time.
Good luck to you!
I didn't think about that, because it would definitely give you an advantage because the others have long lifespans...
That could be considered strategy though...
What does everyone think is fair?
