Wow! This is brilliant! It was only last night I thought to myself, 'I've never seen a world that looks like the UK'.
Here in the UK our houses have around a meter between them unlike in Sunset Valley which has around a mile! I think you've done an amazing job on this.
I really hope you do finish this and upload it. I've been looking for a good, realistic British world for a while. There are a few good ones, but they are all small villages etc. This is more like what i'm looking for!
I'm really enjoying watching this develop. You've had some great ideas regarding the cars parked in the field, post offices, etc. I hadn't thought of any of those ideas and my world is another one supposed to feel British. :oops:
Are you planning to make this as big as South Port was or are you going for something smaller this time?
Im loving creating this world, feels better than southport. Its on a large world so will get bigger. Ive really struggled to add distant terrain. So at the moment the world will only rely on terrain sculpting to hide the sea
I do hate that idea, as it always looks half finished and takes up so much space adding camera unrouteable etc.
Any suggestions?
Im still planning on adding some kind of rural area. With the different expansions etc I enjoy using every object I can haha. I want to be able to add everything.
I hate seeing objects that I cant use in certain worlds, so I hope I can include most things. Im not too bothered about rabbit holes but I like the world to be varied.
Where I live its only 20 mins from a town or city, then 20 mins the other way before you see farms etc. So I want "The Estate" to be like that.
Ive also made a logo, but cannot get it to upload to post here. Do you know how I do that?
You don't have to feel pressured into finishing it up quickly. Take your time and then, if you feel your world is ready and you are happy with it, finally release it. I'm sure we will all appreciate the extra effort put in on your behalf.
Looking good. Did you place those police cars through CAW or are they on a lot? The reason I ask is because cars placed in CAW disappear when you export and play the world.
I think I might have to download those bus stops for myself. I've already got some that I build without CC though so I'm not sure. One suggestion, though, I think it would look slightly more natural on concrete as I don't recall seeing any on grass.
I'd managed to recolour the dumpsters green so they look like the big bins we have here but since the Uni update made them functionable with dumpster diving the recolours have gone. :?

I feel the same about placing stuff, I try to limit my lot count but I always get carried away with new ideas. :oops:
