    Welcome to the Buffy the Vampire CAS contest! As some of you may know, I am a BtVS mega fan. I think it is the perfect show to honor the release of The Sims 3 Supernatural with.

    All you have to do is submit up to three of your favorite characters. Your entries will be judged by how closely your sim resembles the character, how the traits you pick out fits your character, the bio written in your entry, and presentation of photos. I will also have a mini question about why you picked your character, but that won't factor into the voting. Please limit your photos in your entry to 5 (including one CAS headshot), but you can link a slideshow! All photos will be factored into scoring.

    This contest will end September 1, 2012 at midnight EST. You guys have plenty of time to work on it! Hopefully we will have judging finished and winner announced on 9/4/12 release day in USA.

    I am looking for two other BtVS fans, who don't want to CAS to help out with judging.

    Rules:

    1. No CC
    2. Use your own work
    3. You can use any EP, SP, or store content (including incentives-Dr. P, etc.)
    4. CAP is acceptable (include dl links if it's a pattern not in your studio)
    5. Have fun! This is my biggest contest to date and I am super excited to see what the other fans come up with.
    6. Creativity is key in this contest. Your bio for the character and the photos you stage will be judged very critically. It is very important to get into the spirit of the show...don't be afraid to fight a vampire...that would be awesome!

    Judging Scale:

    Looks 25/100
    Traits 25/100 (know your character, explain why you picked each)
    Bio 25/100 (be witty, that is what I love most about Joss)
    Photos 25/100 (you may use pose player, but I love in game play pics the best)

    Grand Prize- Supernatural disc mailed to you or code from game for digital download, whichever you prefer (gifted by potterphyle)

    3rd- 150 sp (gifted by potterphyle)
    at least 4 HM worth 50 sp (gifted by potterphyle)

    Wensimmie is also sponsoring 1000 sp, LilyParker is sponsoring another 500 sp, and Faith12368 is sponsoring another 1000 sp. I am going to wait until we see how many entries end up here and add boost totals for 1st-3rd place.

    *Sponsors are welcome, this is the current prize pool. Prizes could go up, but this is the minimum that will be awarded.

      Eeep! I'm such a huge *Buffy* fan! I'm more of a builder than a sim-maker, so I won't be entering, but this looks like a great contest and I'm sure you'll get some wonderful entries. I shall be lurking in the shadows...

      Oh my God! We were just talking about Buffy the other day, and I was thinking how much fun it would be to do a Buffy CAS contest. I'm watching "True Blood" these days, and while it's interesting and different, it doesn't have quite have the same brand of darkness and nowhere near the silly one-liner humor.

      I would love to be a sponsor. You know how big of a Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Dollhouse fan I am. I would love to see an Anya / Xander couple. And of course SPIKE!!!

      Aww, thank you so much wensimmie! I am so glad I have another sponsor, since my runner up prizes are a little low in comparison to the grand prize. I know someone (hubs, lol, he can finally get me a gift that I will love, without me having to tell him) will buy Supernatural for my bday, so some hard working simmer is gonna win the copy I would have normally bought myself. ;-)

      This is one of my all time favorite shows! My girlfriend and I used to have "Buffy Night" and trade off on making creepy themed snacks. There were a couple of years that I never put away my Halloween cookie cutouts. (Anya was my favorite after Willow lost much of her dorkiness)

      I couldn't get into True Blood. Maybe it is because of the style. I loved the humor and the chemistry on Buffy. I lucked up, live in a very small town that didn't get WB or CW until after the series aired. I caught a repeat on FX, The Body, to be exact. So I watched the next, fell in love. Then got all the seasons on dvd, and I had Buffy season marathons.

      Aww, that sounds so fun! I wish I could have watched this as it aired, but then again I didn't have to wait on those cliffhangers. I bet you have lots of wonderful memories from those showings with your friend!

      I thought of something, if the winner wants the hard copy disc/cover, I can email them the code and they can download the game on Origin that way, they can play before the game arrives.

      All hail Buffy! I too am a huge Buffy/Angel/Charmed/Dollhouse fan! I have not been able to get into Trueblood I think it is because of the ummmmm "style" of it ;)

      But, I love me some Spike!!!!

      I love his vulnerability also. Before he was a vampire, he was in love with that girl and wrote the sappy poetry, when he was a young vamp he was hurt by Angel and Dru hooking up, and later he loved Buffy (even before he got his soul) and she never loved him back :(

      But I also love his swagger and attitude and how nice he was to Dawn.

      warning: wensimmie is a big Buffy/Angel fan!

      Some one else will, but if they dont i volenteer as judge. As in the Judge, the one that can kill you with a touch.
      Im going to make them all anyway. And i dont need to win (except points to kill wensimmies WL again) because ive got super natural on Pre order thanks to a nice price glitch on amazon making it less than half price.

      Its an awesome prize to give away though and i love the idea.

      *joins in drooling but much more subtle than wensimmie and potterphyle who have now made a drool puddle on the floor*

      A pic from one of my fave episodes! I have to admit, I am a huge Buffy/Spike shipper. I liked Angel on his own. I didn't think Angel loved her as much.

      The only episode that I hate is Seeing Red, since they cast a bad light on Spike and I totally think that was something way out of character for him.
