I think they make enough money off the game itself.

In the long run, expansions and stuff packs are cheaper than buying each item individually. In this economy, we can't afford NOT to be frugal.

You realize they also have to spend money to make the game. They have to pay the people who make it, and pay for the the computers they use, and the programs, and the buildings they work in, and then the actual CDs, and the pagakaging, and the shipping around the world. That kind of stuff costs a lot of money, which nobody seems to realize. You all talk about how you're being hit by the economy, so for the last time, if you really have so little money, why did you buy the game in the first place?

And EA is hit by the economy too. Being a bing buisness doesn't mean they have an unlimited amount of money, and can just give everything away for free. You people are basically whining over a few pixels you don't have, and it's getting annoying.

And as long as they make money, they will keep the store.

No, because it's not going to happen just because someone started a petition.

What makes you say that? They released an entire new set at the beginning of July. They can't release new stuff every week, there just isn't that much to put out. Chances are they will release new stuff once a month, similar to how the Sims 2 store was. To say they aren't making anything new for the store is just false.

    Because:
-there are not enough items in the base game
    -the store isn't cheap
-we'll be buying the expansion packs (with added gameplay) already
-with both the store and the expansion packs available, it will be an excuse for them to put less items in the expansion packs (it's predictable since so much is missing from the base game).

Because of the crazy prices! I don't mind EA charging for their work at all. I do mind price gouging and leaving the base game so raw in order to boost the aforementioned.

I'm having issues with the store. Something is screwy with my account. I have the original points, can't seem to use them. Plus, that's a pain in the butt to get items this way, one item at a time, and seems to be very expensive.

EA is a company, not Santa Clus. I like the Sims 3 store. They just want to get some extra money. You don't have to buy anything if you don' like the store. u r so cheap
