Hi,

Like RPG the sims could unlock some perks in a Skill Tree.
Not every sim want to use their skill for the same use.

For example :

Fitness Skill :

• Techniques : The sims want to improve their techniques, it deceases the failure at Basketball, Soccer, ...
• Health : The sims want to improve their health, it decreases the chance of sickness and burn the fat quickly.
• Muscles : The sims want to improve the body fit, it increases the muscle gain.

Cooking Skill :

• Quality : It's what the game does by default
• Quantity : Serve more than 8
• Quickness : Cook faster than usual

I think it'd be pretty cool to have a skill tree, but it can already be difficult to decide which path you want to go on in The Sims. It might also make you miss out on some important skills and abilities.
