I'm thinking tomorrow, which would be a full month before its speculated release [Nov. 15th].
....I can't help but wonder how the community will deal with TS4's Uni, though... I am afraid to see what they've watered down, and there exists not a drop of doubt in me that they have.
I still think 22nd maybe. I was originally torn between the 8th and the 22nd. The 22nd gives around 4 weeks to discuss content prior to release. I was hoping for longer as then it alludes to a pack with more content but lets see, this Thursday will be great!

I fear we will see 4 general majors (Science, General Arts, Sports, Fine Arts) with which you can go down a bunch of career paths, so no specialising and choosing a real mature, and gameplay emphasize will be on: student parties.

I am hoping they don't they have added a lot of flexibility in terms of careers - registering custom careers, part time careers , work from home careers.
Also in Sims 3 I feel like there were a lot more careers but now in Sims 4, they types of careers we would have would make splitting them into 5 groups weird, like Sports would be on its own? Or you would have to add military and detective to this one?
I am hoping they flesh out majors as well and basically each career gets its own major, barring a few exceptions and that skills like Veterinary and Archeology get majors as well but lets see.
The closer the pack gets announced to the release date could correlate with the amount of content so lets hope this Thursday or next Tuesday.
Looks like its not this week I expected as much I don't think the content will be there for a longer announcement time. If they announce it next week they will have 3 weeks with the last week for the "game changers" to hype it any later than the 22nd and we can expect a Island Living quality expansion.
Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"

I wouldn't rule out Thursday this week yet.
I thought they only announce expansions on Tuesdays? (And release them on fridays)

No they've also announced on Wednesday and Thursday.
If we dont get a teaser today all bets are off for this week.
That would be a shame, but atleast if announced the next week or the next, it could mean packs would be announced more closer to their release dates. I just don’t want to wait too long for just a teaser.

What do you guys think?
It's possible. I think we have to wait until 11 PST if we're going to get anything. That's about an hour from now.
If there is a teaser today it will happen within 51 minutes 1pm eastern.
I wouldn't rule out Thursday this week yet.

The Sims 4 General DiscussionIts releasing on Nov 15th so the Maxis Monthly being in Nov would be too late.

I want to see the reveal trailer really bad.
