But what's The Big Escape about? In short: Escape Rooms! I'm really looking forward to the show myself, and I really hope someone will try and make a subtitled version so we can all watch it.

Dutch TV also has it's bloopers as well. The recent reboot of Peking Express (Dutch/Flemish Amazing Race) flopped, and the twist of Expeditie Robinson of casting a few non-celebs among the celebrities is not executed well in my opinion (15 celebs and only 4 citizens, and the citizens start off seperated from the rest, and something in the wording of the press messages makes me think that not all of them will make it to the point that they'll be added to the celebs. I was hoping that it'd be a step towards 'regular' people back in the game for future seasons, but I sense a 1-time gimmick here.).
So in short, every country has their own tops and flops.
I really hope that The Big Escape will catch the public eye (I think that the combination of the concept of Escape Rooms in combination of the mind twists of the popular WIDM very well could prove successful. Plus, it's by Avrotros, also responsible for WIDM, so another clue for that..). So who knows we'll see the format exported soon. Fingers crossed. XX
PS. THERE'S A CANDY CRUSH THEMED GAME SHOW IN THE US?!?!?!?!?!
