@bekkasan oh it's not because it's swearing, it's because she doesn't like "fricking", she prefers me to use British swear words. She gets really annoyed when British people use American English. @Mikezumi I moved the door so don't think that's it. I moved to another lot in the end and rebuilt the place. I did get the lot from the library so I should probably check there's not something wrong with that.

@king_of_simcity7 My favorite city except I don't like the high rises. I'm a small town girl and prefer small towns in the Sims. I think that is one reason I don't love my current job is because I have to work in the city and I dislike driving around the city.

Never had that happen, though I have had other bugs related to the mail...like whenever Theran or Ellie got the mail their inventory would get a bunch of "Bills" and giftboxes labeled "Omni Plant" in their inventories that absolutely nothing could be done with. I finally had to pull every real item out of their inventories and use one of the NRAAS mods to delete their remaining inventories.
@Cadh20000 Lol! I didn't know of her, but the Tiger part fits with "my" Taïga! Love how her boyfriend pulls her cheek to make it look like she's smiling!

Like I said, each to their own For me, just knowing they were once pudding makes them always pudding regardless of how much I tweak them. I guess they just freak me out

So I'm all caught up. Only took me 90 minutes - good golly!
I took on a DNA request, so I've been working on that mostly today. I also laid out my flat (front room and spare room) in game as I wanted to see what I could do with the space for when I get my new gaming equipment. I only did a before and didn't get to the after because I was horrified at how plain my flat is. It seriously needs some work.

@aricarai Thanks for the lovely comments The two Graduation Gnomes were brought back from uni with Jensen. They had a baby and I have no idea how. It looks like they have 3 kids now (I will be posting that pic later) and Meggy recently brought home a Mysterious Mr. Gnome from a field trip to the Mausoleum.
As for Hamon's hair - I am about 90 percent sure it is a Cazy hair but where I got it from is a long lost memory. Most of my CC came back to Australia with me on discs when I left America and I had had them for a while even back then. If you search Cazy I am sure you will find it.

"Oh my G** LAILA!!!"
Sam raced to the scene, followed by Anna, and found Betty Simovich crying over Laila's lifeless body on the floor. Immediately he fell down to Laila's side and took her hand. "Laila!?" he addressed, but she didn't stir. He checked her pulse from the neck and there was.........nothing. Disbelief shot through him as he checked again, this time with her wrist. Again...nothing. With his jaw dropped and eyes widened, Sam told the onlookers, "She's dead." There were gasps and murmurs. Sam continued to examine Laila's body to see if he could find a clue to her untimely death, but then suddenly...black smoke began rising from the floor beside her. Sam shot up onto his feet in a scare.
"What the H***!?" Sam cried.
Anna, startled at Sam's sudden jump and expression asked, "What!? What is it? Is she alive after all?"
"No! It's that black smoke on the floor!" Sam replied, pointing down. "You don't see it?"
Anna studied the floor and then looked at him like he was crazy. "There's no black smoke Sam...Are you alright?" Oh boy...Sam thought. He ran a hand over his face, hoping he was just seeing things, but then shuddered in fright as he opened his eyes again. A dark, shadowy figure began emerging from the floor inside the smoke, carrying a scythe and face covered with a tattered hood. Sam held his hands over his mouth and exclaimed, "Oh G**" as a terrified and nauseating feeling washed over him. He didn't like the looks of this...
Hey everyone. This is totally random but...with my imagination being what it is.
I was listening to random music on YouTube and happened upon this music video that I hadn't seen in a few months. While listening and watching it again I had this thought...
What if some of our Sim characters feel this way? Especially when we put so much life into them and grow attached to them?
This music video has a lot of symbolism to it so each of you might take something different from it than someone else, but if you want, check it out. (That Lindsey Striling is one talented violin player! )
What if our Sims are just dying to "shatter" out of our computer screens and come alive?
(I know it sounds silly, but as I mentioned above...my imagination got the best of me. )
In order to have the most control over the wedding, I temporarily added Sam and Emma to my active household. After work, I sent everyone over to the Horse Ranch where Lost Cove's wedding arch is.
Emma ran into Cami who just happened to be there. They started talking girl-to-girl about marriage and weddings. (Emma is in her career outfit.)
Sam was taking forever rowing back from the science lab. I was afraid he was going to be late, so I teleported him once he got to shore.

I finally decided on a wedding dress for Emma, and while she and Sam smooched, Emad summoned up some banquet food. Hurry up, Emad, you still need to get dressed!
The first guests arrived. I had Sam and Emma do the greeting. Look at Sam and Mikel bragging about being Great Kissers! I think Lisa heard them talking.
Some of the guests didn't show up for a couple of hours. But I had Sam and Emma start the wedding before it got too late. They began by sharing their vows.
Then they exchanged rings. First Emma...

Alrighty, I gotta go back and fix my last Sam update...once I do I will re-post the last bit.
Here you all go:
Sam raced to the scene, followed by Anna, and found Betty Simovich crying over Laila's lifeless body on the floor. Immediately he fell down to Laila's side and took her hand. "Laila!?" he addressed, but she didn't stir. He checked her pulse from the neck and there was.........nothing. Disbelief shot through him as he checked again, this time with her wrist. Again...nothing. With his jaw dropped and eyes widened, Sam told the onlookers, "She's dead." There were gasps and murmurs. Sam continued to examine Laila's body to see if he could find a clue to her untimely death, but then suddenly...black smoke began rising from the floor beside her. Sam shot up onto his feet in a scare.
"What the H***!?" Sam cried.
Anna, startled at Sam's sudden jump and expression asked, "What!? What is it? Is she alive after all?"
"No! It's that black smoke on the floor!" Sam replied, pointing down. "You don't see it?"
Anna studied the floor and then looked at him like he was crazy. "There's no black smoke Sam...Are you alright?"
Oh boy...Sam thought. He ran a hand over his face, hoping he was just seeing things, but then shuddered in fright as he opened his eyes again. A dark, shadowy figure began emerging from the floor inside the smoke, carrying a scythe and face covered with a tattered hood. Sam held his hands over his mouth and exclaimed, "Oh G**" as a terrified and nauseating feeling washed over him. He didn't like the looks of this...

I was listening to random music on YouTube and happened upon this music video that I hadn't seen in a few months. While listening and watching it again I had this thought...
What if some of our Sim characters feel this way? Especially when we put so much life into them and grow attached to them?

Part 1
In order to have the most control over the wedding, I temporarily added Sam and Emma to my active household. After work, I sent everyone over to the Horse Ranch where Lost Cove's wedding arch is.
Emma ran into Cami who just happened to be there. They started talking girl-to-girl about marriage and weddings. (Emma is in her career outfit.)
Sam was taking forever rowing back from the science lab. I was afraid he was going to be late, so I teleported him once he got to shore.

I finally decided on a wedding dress for Emma, and while she and Sam smooched, Emad summoned up some banquet food. Hurry up, Emad, you still need to get dressed!
The first guests arrived. I had Sam and Emma do the greeting. Look at Sam and Mikel bragging about being Great Kissers! I think Lisa heard them talking.
Some of the guests didn't show up for a couple of hours. But I had Sam and Emma start the wedding before it got too late. They began by sharing their vows.
Then they exchanged rings. First Emma...
then Sam.
