Hey all!
I am very busy at the moment doing a little over-the-top activity
I am doing a Sims OneNote booklet, divided into section groups for each world, then each section group is divided into sections for each family that lives in that world, and then each family is divided into pages for the members of that family etc.
Each family member gets a profile picture and details about the sim on their page, which I will update during rotational play if I end up playing that particular family. This pic shows my starting details, which I will add to:
Anyway, my OH was questioning my madness at undertaking such a task (why would you do such a thing?) and I got curious as to what other simmers get up to outside of the game, but to do with the game. Anyone got anything to share?
Do please share pics of your 'projects' if you can!

I have a Story/Blog
I also keep a physical notebook. It is headed by week and a Sim name.
I keep track of Skills, Career, Major Relationships, Clubs and Ambitions. I am on my tablet and away from the game and the notebook right now but I can try add a picture later if you’re really interested.
I have notebooks. A list of my households in rotation order then a list in age order. I have flash cards so I know who ages up next, who is married to who and who are the parents and siblings of the others. I just had one die and now I am getting concerned his existence may be forgotten. When they die I have moved the flashcards over to a seperately wallet. Don't want to throw them out!!
I have a second notebook with future plans, who will be marrying who in the next generation or what their plans will be.
My OH also thinks I am crazy haha...

The Best of Hunni's Builds
Feel free to follow my builds!!!!!!:)
Wishing that a social event would end, so i can play.
I do not mind staying a whole week (or more) locked inside my house, playing and ignoring everything else
When i was a teen, i used to skip some serious amounts of days after each other to just play the sims. It kind of damaged my school results... badly.
@Mingoonde I seriously would be freaked out about doing that
@Cherryrose_x that sounds awesome, just my cup of tea!
@Evie0602 I have no idea why I'm doing this either, but it is a lot of fun. I enjoy doing stuff like this probably almost as much as I enjoy playing the actual game.
Edit: corrected grammar
All the sims err'day
ETA: I also thought about creating a blog and sharing my stories, but I'm sure no one would read it and it would be a waste of time to try.
I like to build stuff
Sims Anonymous...is there a number for that?
Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~
@citysimmer I say go for it gal!
Back in TS2 days I was the owner/Admin of a rather large and popular Sims forum/website for all things TS2 which morphed into more of a writing and roleplay forum. At one point we had over 6,000 members. I (and my Staff of course) spent a lot of time creating contests and activities with Photoshop, Word and Excel and also created a number of videos using TS2 for the site. This site was literally my life for a number of years.
I also made a music video and a story video using images and recorded footage from TS2.
These days, if I'm not taking care of my Grandson, doing household chores, spending time with family or taking care of my cats, I'm scrolling through the forum or playing my game. I would estimate that 2/3rds (sometimes more) of my days are spent doing TS4 related things.
I'd say I'm extremely obsessed. If I had a better computer I'd buy every pack I don't currently own and most likely be recording videos for YouTube, upload a ton of houses & Sims to the Gallery, maybe have a Simblr and/or be trying my hand at making my own CC. I used to make CC for TS2 using bodyshop for my own personal use. I might even consider remodeling my old TS2 site for TS4 too and reopen it.
The Sims have been a major part of my life since it's release in 2000 and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love this game!
and sometimes when i'm out and about irl i deconstruct houses in my mind and think about how they'd be built in the sims lol.
I don't deconstruct houses, I deconstruct faces
I rarely do challanges and just play irregularly, sometime with half year gaps between playing. And frequently just play basically without too much detail in family and story.
Here are the first pages of my latest Sims notebook. As you can see, I keep track of almost every little tiny aspect of their lives.
