After not playing for about 6 months, I forgot a lot of the small things that happen in the game. For example: The cute interactions such as a parent reading their child to sleep
This one is probably my favorite interactions. What’s yours? And feel free to show pics of your sims doing the interactions as well
Also - pictured child is an alien/merman hybrid, thus her black eyes. She’s not a little demon
LOL I can’t believe I forgot about that one. Love it.
I haven’t had any elders in my game for a while due to the fact that I can’t bear to have my sims get older and die. I’m gonna have to rectify this by creating an elder in my game who annoys the children by cheek pinching. Maybe make her the crazy cat lady too...hmmm.

AHHHH!!! MTS has a mod for adults to do that. Now I’m excited. modthesims.info/d/598846
Although I have lots of elders in my saves I don't often play the family oriented trait so don't see it as much as I would like. I know I could direct my elders to do it but I don't like to control my sims more than I have to. Besides, it's much more interesting to see what my sims will do without my direction and be surprised than to know in advance what I want them to do.
If you don't like your sims to die, you could always do like I do with my simself who is an elder - she is immortal always and occasionally joins my households as live-in nanny
I always kinda forget about that one because the kid has to be sleepy first. My favorite is when the child does it autonomously. @Mikizumi The cheek pinching I forget about this one too sometimes.
Ah... I can't remember which trait does this but sims can have a panic attack.
Oh, I never noticed in all of my years playing this game until recently but neurotic sims can "check" certain objects around the home. I can relate to this so much because I too do it. (Handy little edit I made using a premade PS template - copy/paste of the moodlet sims get after checking objects.)
@SimplyJen -It's from the unstable trait and that can be fixed in Master Controller by clicking on the sim and selecting NRaas>advanced>traits>change and selecting the trait to remove.Repeat to replace with a new selected trait.I'd check that add missing traits in story progression under general options is false first.
Here's my sims heading to work in the winter.
@SimplyJen I don't think I have that trait because I don't have many EPs installed but I love the panic attack - great pic!
I get annoyed at how many wishes my neurotic sims roll to check things but I am happy to let them do it on their own and can totally identify with it. I won't leave the house before checking, and double checking, the stove and the heater before I leave the house to go shopping
@Mikizumi According to wiki, the Unstable trait comes with Into the Future. That's understandable... I hate wishes that just repeat themselves. My thing is double checking locked doors and the oven. @TadOlson Ah, I thought it could've been that trait but I wasn't sure. Having all positive traits is boring in my opinion. I like to randomize traits and leave it at that unless I need them to have a certain trait.

Totally agree there. I used to play only normally with generation after generation of legacy sims being perfect, good and all those types of traits. It got repetitious after a while.
But a year or two back I started experimenting with sims and traits I never would play (like Supernatural sims) and it made a huge difference in my interest in playing the game again. Now I have a save dedicated solely for the crazies and one dedicated for my normal sims.
But I have to admit I play more in my save dedicated to the crazy sims now. Lol
@SimplyJen -I often have them getting the slob trait and they always end up eating spoiled food with flies swarming around it without getting sick from it.I've also had to play my game with so many Mods because I kept getting corrupted saves when social worker took children away or saves glitched out and forced me to start adding Mods including awsome to fix the school issuse like overcrowding, routing fails, failed travel to school and students attending wrong schools.I've got the automated school assignment override enabled in the config file to fix those issues.
Grown sims with the Childish trait making goofy faces in a mirror for sim hours.
But some of my favorites are the failure animations sims get when they attempt something with low skill levels. Some of these are more difficult to make happen on demand than others.
-- The classic one of course is bowling where they forget to let go of the bowling ball (Uni)
-- Shooting pool or practicing pool tricks, but the balls go careening across the room instead of staying on the table; this one is dangerous (ST, Uni, ITF)
-- Pizza making, when the the dough they are tossing up in the air gets stuck to the ceiling and never comes back down, funny but a waste of ingredients so remember to stock up on extra groceries (Monte Vista for the oven)
-- Teen witches who do their homework through magic but end up scorching themselves when it all explodes on them (SN)
-- Werewolves attempting to howl at the moon, hands on hips, head back, but end up in a coughing fit instead (SN again)
-- Some of the magic trick failure animations I've seen are hilarious (ST)
-- Sims with low Charisma attempting a Smooth Move to wind up cuddling on the sofa by being sneaky with a yawn and stretch, but end up bonking their intended target on the nose with their elbow (base game, I think?)
And here's one I haven't seen mentioned recently. If you focus on a Military lot right before 5am, the sims there will blow Reveille on a bugle and raise the flag to begin the day's operations. I've never caught them blowing Taps at the end of the day and taking the flag down if they do this too, not sure at what time that would be.
I just watched one of my childish Sims play in the mirror and she did this finger pointing "pew pew" noise. She looks so proud of herself. I rarely play with this trait, but it tickled me. Definitely one of my favorites.
And toddler witches playing with toys-adorablness.
Holy mother of pearl, this thread exploded with posts!
I love the pics everybody! I’d respond to every one but that would take forever so I’ll settle for giving everyone an Awesome and a virtual pat on the back for a good job.
Also, please feel free to keep on sharing pics. I don’t mind photo bombs as seeing everyone’s gameplay makes me want to keep playing my game and keeps me inspired.

I was looking at this pic when I had to take a closer peek and noticed his tiny cute fairy wings. Love it

I have a couple teen wizards in my game right now! I never knew about this interaction. Thanks for this tip, igazor

This isn’t really an interaction per se, but I always go “aaaawww” when Sims in a romantic relationship snuggle together in bed :>
TS4 Sims in TS3
I just love picture threads and I love seeing what's going on in other simmer's games.
Horses grooming each other.
Riding your horse to work.
Leaping into someone's arms.
Gazing into each other's eyes, lol.
Skating together.
Someone's pet jumps into your lap.
Playing pool together.
Catching snowflakes on your tongue. (townie)
Sipping hot cocoa while in the hot tub in the middle of the winter festival.
Interacting with wildlife.
That "look" when your man does the dishes. He's a keeper!
When both sims seem engaged in their conversation.
The reaction to weather.
I´m afraid, I might be going a bit overboard with this one.
In no particular order:
Playing together.
Reading children to sleep (when it works).
Playing with the dog.
Children embracing toddlers.
Peek-a-boo
Dancing (in all its forms).
The ridiculous things doctors do.
Leaping into arms (with no consideration of gender or age).
My all time favourite: Putting a toddler into bed.

Toddler/Child hugs..... (Corey and his possible future wife Nina)
Blow a kiss (Dylan and Penny)
Scratching up the furniture!
Taking the dog for a walk:
I love anything Genie!!
A gambling Genie is a very amusing Genie!!
