I recently did a little decorating around the house of my Goth family and used lots of clutter from Buy Mode, and a few debug items as well. I'm very pleased with it and thought I'd share and allow others to show of the beautiful and cluttered decor in their Sims' homes ^_^ I also used lots of moo and the alt+9 cheat btw xD

The cluttered items look very nice on the vanity table and on the dresser ! They would give a great look to the room where they are. The study desk nook table is very nice. The open book and pen are great touches on the desk table. The bottles look great together on the kitchen counter!
The way you have placed the items in the room areas look very nice!
Thanks @rosemow !!! ^_^ As you can see, they still need curtains and other more expensive decor items, but I thought the little items would add some depth to the house and their personalities, and they weren't very expensive (especially the buydebug items, lol ).

I recently tried my hand at giving my sims more clutter, but I was mainly just testing out new content.
I will eventually try to use clutter to show my sim's personality and taste.
The picture of the artichoke is wonderful! 🐸🐸🐸🐸 , this is one of those times I wish I used CC - but no , I'm going virgin.
I have no pics but have recently delved into the lived in look for my Sims , sure makes everything seem more homey .
Here's the potions lab I created for the story I'm writing. Ignore the blank space in the corner in the last pic...there's supposed to be either spiral or L-shaped stairs, but alas they don't have them in the game...

That picture isn't CC. It came with Cool Kitchen. It's a swatch under another poster.
I love clutter, but I rarely use MOO as I don't like sharing MOO'ed lots on the Gallery and I pretty much share everything I build. Also, it takes forever to do and can lead to glitches.
But when I do go on a "shopping spree" in debug, this is what it ends up looking like:
Kitchen:
Bathroom:
Laundry room:
Patio:
Another bathroom:
And I also love these teen rooms:
And this bathroom (bathrooms and kitchens are the easiest to fill with clutter):
I can also clutter up rooms with out MOO:
Fireplace nook in the living room:
Bedroom:
Living room (the multicoloured patterns from MH are helping with the cluttered look too):
And community lots as well - this a spa built in an excavation site:

Here's Mrs. Claus' kitchen from a Christmas build that I cluttered up- it was a small space so I figured a lot of stuff would be out and about.
Part of Santa's Workshop in the same build.
This is from my most recent build in 3.
