I researched on the internet and read that it's a very common bug, but you and @Karritz seemed to have fixed it in your games. Could you direct me to the right place where I can read up on how to fix it. (If I can.) Thanks sweetie.
@emorrill Actually, @Karritz just made a video on how to fix mermaid tails. She gives a lot of good info and you can pause the video to copy down the notes she shares or look more closely at the NRaas fixes she uses.

The main "house" (my wedding venue) and it's twin on the other side of the road incase some Sims decided to wander...(Half of my Sims lived in one, half in the other and the Goth's were in their regular house).

Dalia groaned to herself as she dragged herself out of bed...wait why am I in Mortimer's room, and why do I have my bathing suit on she thought. Her mouth was dry as cotton and her head hurt....Ohhhhhhh she thought, too much Juice then she gave herself the "I swear I'll never do that again" speech. She had no idea what she did last night, it was a far off blur...she dragged herself into the bathroom and tidied up, then ran slowly...back over to her apartment and showered and got dressed.
She showed up to work and got going with cleaning...the 4 aspirin she took should take care of the pounding head soon she knew.
Mortimer however remembered everything as he wasn't quite a snockered as Dalia was, he couldn't wait to see her. He got up showered and brushed his teeth.
Dalia saw out the window that Mortimer was playing with Meghan so she decided to take Timmy for a walk.
When she got back she saw Mortimer was still outside with Meghan so she brought Timmy out and went over to say Hi to Mortimer...he was all handsy and Dalia was pretty confused.
Mortimer was hurt and confused, wondering what was wrong, she sure seemed to have no problem with affection last night!
Mortimer tried to explain how she had kissed him last night but she just kept saying "I really don't remember" over and over...she was royally plastered.
He figured maybe a swim in the pool might jog something in her head, so he suggested a swim..
They had fun....but it didn't make her remember and frankly she was getting sick of him mentioning it every 5 seconds...
He tried to hug her again but by this point she just wanted to go back to the apartment and go to sleep.
Mortimer tried one more time in true 18 year old fashion...he stomped his feet and yelled "It DID happen!!"
Dalia had had enough of this babyish behavior and told him goodnight...Mortimer ran after her...*geeze give it up dude*!!
Now Dalia was miffed...she said to him in her calmest but angered voice "Fine, it happened, but if you keep acting like a spoiled 10 year old I can guarantee it will Never happen again!"
Dalia only had a half day of work the next day so she hurried though her chores...

They all went out to eat at the diner, she found out Kate and Riley were taking a delayed honeymoon next week.
Mortimer managed to track her down...Dalia muttered to herself something about his planting a tracking device in her the night before.
Mortimer was talking to Colby who I realized was his cousin (Agnes and Connor's son).
He saw his uncle Connor too...
Dalia went over to talk to Kyle, of course Mortimer followed...
He started chatting with Kyle...
Hmmmm, he though no reaction out of Dalia....he decided to step up his game...
Dalia just moved away....
This should get her he thought....and added in some hand holding for good measure...

She headed strait for Colby! This will kill him she mused....(boy did it ever!!)

It did help my game load a little faster: 3 minutes as opposed to 5 minutes! But didn't you show me a link as well to where I can merge the Sim File packages (that go to the launcher? ) Just wanted to double check with you.

@LunBeauty That is the message I was getting when I tried to install @Charlottesmom SS. @emorill told me it was because I saved the files, which is what I normally do, rather than downloaded direct to launcher. Once I downloaded it direct to launcher her ss installed just fine. I had the same problem when I saved files with cravens kitty and pug shirt, but, I downloaded them after that and they installed fine. I guess they have messed up the save file thing?

I love it when the thought bubbles work out and did look like she was calling him a baby. I'm still trying to figure out was Riley having the heart magnet to Dalia or someone else not in the picture.

@charlottesmom So that is why I made the warning ahead of the pictures. I had it on a lower quality graphics setting because I wanted to see if it helped my game run better. So the pictures are suffering. I was also not planning on getting attached to this save so I didn't care so much. Now that I have been playing them for 2 days, I might change it back to HQ because I think I'll be taking a lot more pictures. I love them now. Haha. I love CC but when it doesn't work, it is scary! I am trying to figure out where the bad CC is (the eyebrows too!) but I am having lots of trouble.
@MoonandStars83 Well, I decided I am gonna try to get rid of the CC eyebrows anyway. Problem now is that I can't! I have no idea what file they are. I can't delete or uninstall. Every time I try to scroll through my "insatalled content" in the Launcher, it just abruptly closes. Every time. It is driving me nuts! No idea why it is doing that.

I don't have many pictures from my game last night but I did take some. First, I wanted to share this. So, I had a "real estate" issue in the town, so I wanted to put some more affordable housing for the families just starting out. It bugged me that they didn't have much to chose from in the game so I took it upon myself to make my own. I am still a beginner at house building, as I have mentioned in other posts, so this is great practice for me! Start small, right? So I started a line of "starter homes". Very plain, small, minimal. Or complete with the ugliest flooring or walls I could find. Just like real life. LMAO. I only have a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom right now. I should probably make a 1 bedroom huh? Not much to look at but I am oddly happy about them. Anyway, here they are:

3 BR: (Does not come with the garden in the back or the fence. That was put in by the current occupants.)
Also, while browsing around town, I noticed something I never saw before. I got up close and personal with this little remote spot.
Never realized it is an abandoned mine! Saw this and laughed at the eyes peering back at me.
Ok so now for the actual family business... The twins are now toddlers. Since I am playing with a long lifespan, they are going to be toddlers for 15 days. That is a long time to have toddlers. I am pacing myself with the skill building. I usually rush it lol. It is a nice relief to not have to stress about getting it all in. I think I like this.

Hello all - It's cold at my place. But I'm back for another go at finishing the next episode of the Perfect Genetics Challenge.
@Charlottesmom the reason I have a tent up in my back yard (under some shady trees) is I have so many art supplies collected over the years that I can't fit them and me into the house. And it has 3 bedrooms, one of which is my computer room.
At least I have plenty to work with now - and that's why I bought so much over the years when I didn't have time to use much of it.
It is fun working with glitter, but I also want to do work that's stunning without it. I'll probably continue to do both.
I love the outtakes of your wedding. Especially the picture of the bride turning into a werewolf. Nice timing. One thing about sims, if you can relax and just watch what goes on sometimes it can be lots of fun, but not so much fun if you can't relax and need them to do exactly what you want them to do. I personally usually like to sit back and laugh. I've learned a lot about the game that way, they do things I wouldn't have expected to do and learn of more possibilities for my own directed play later on. When I did a big wedding I turned off everything. But they still played up. I removed free will, made needs static, bulldozed every rabbit hole and workplace and building (in the end) in the world and I managed to get some good screen shots but don't know how it would have worked as a video. Might try it again one day to see what happens.
@bekkasan nice pictures and story. I love to see them use a hammer to upgrade things. It always reminds me of the time my son, when he was about 8 yrs old, tried to fix his game controller with a hammer and was surprised when it broke totally.

A squirrel somehow got inside the house.
I sent Animal Lover Lynne over to watch and then catch him. When I checked on her, I discovered that Tigger was also watching the squirrel.
I thought about getting a terrarium to keep the squirrel, but this household doesn't need another pet! So I had her free him back into the wild.
Lynne let the squirrel loose here in the flower bushes.
I found Emad talking with Fiend the Black Dragon about Logic.
The next thing I knew, he had Fiend outside letting him fly.
It's rare for me to see the dragons fly because I usually get a message that there's not enough room. But this lot has plenty of space.
I watched the whole flight time and took a few screenshots.
Emad fed Fiend a fish.
I have 2 Neat sims in the household, Tyron and Sherry. That's all well and good, but they insist on picking up the pet toys. I found Pudge's Destruction meter fully red because he had nothing to chew on! Tyron had put all his chew toys away. Time to try retuning autonomous toy pickup.
I gave Pudge his chew toy. He'd been so good about not chewing furniture--no thanks to the Neat freaks!
Luna had wishes to work on her jumping skills.
She's doing well, but this last jump still gives her trouble.
She's willing to try though.
Tempest got spooked somehow, but Emad was able to calm her down.

Both Yin and her sister Yang live together in a townhouse given to them by their parents.Problem is Yang's constant loud parties that were destroying the home was a last straw for Yin.She drew a line down the middle and sealed off her half of the house leaving her sister to live in her filth.But they still break the boundries when Yin goes to clean the others half while Yang brings her slobby ways to crash in her sisters place.They love each other but are always at odds.
Am still working on it am actually trashing Yang's half with a disgusting toilet and tub broken TV etc and mouldy counters.

I just bought Roaring Heights and remembered seeing David Morgan in others' pics and thinking he looked okay so he was my first stop when I loaded the save.
David is an adult when a new save is started.
Quick look as female.
David aged down. Aging down softened his face considerably but it made the female face way too long as his jaw height is lower than I would ever use on my own sims, although it does add a certain manliness to the male form which, unfortunately, translates into horsey for the female version.
I lifted his jaw, amongst other tweaks, and he has lost the manliness he once had but I am quite happy with the result and the female version is actually quite pretty and, if I placed him in my saves, he would probably start as a female.
Final version as female. I didn't bother changing the hair or clothes since this was just for a quick look.

Never realized it is an abandoned mine! Saw this and laughed at the eyes peering back at me.
Ok so now for the actual family business... The twins are now toddlers. Since I am playing with a long lifespan, they are going to be toddlers for 15 days. That is a long time to have toddlers. I am pacing myself with the skill building. I usually rush it lol. It is a nice relief to not have to stress about getting it all in. I think I like this.

@Charlottesmom the reason I have a tent up in my back yard (under some shady trees) is I have so many art supplies collected over the years that I can't fit them and me into the house. And it has 3 bedrooms, one of which is my computer room.
At least I have plenty to work with now - and that's why I bought so much over the years when I didn't have time to use much of it.
It is fun working with glitter, but I also want to do work that's stunning without it. I'll probably continue to do both.
I love the outtakes of your wedding. Especially the picture of the bride turning into a werewolf. Nice timing. One thing about sims, if you can relax and just watch what goes on sometimes it can be lots of fun, but not so much fun if you can't relax and need them to do exactly what you want them to do. I personally usually like to sit back and laugh. I've learned a lot about the game that way, they do things I wouldn't have expected to do and learn of more possibilities for my own directed play later on. When I did a big wedding I turned off everything. But they still played up. I removed free will, made needs static, bulldozed every rabbit hole and workplace and building (in the end) in the world and I managed to get some good screen shots but don't know how it would have worked as a video. Might try it again one day to see what happens.
@bekkasan nice pictures and story. I love to see them use a hammer to upgrade things. It always reminds me of the time my son, when he was about 8 yrs old, tried to fix his game controller with a hammer and was surprised when it broke totally.

Leighton was tough with those extremely slanted eyes. They brought back memories of my childhood where kids would drag their eyes upwards and chant racist comments about the Chinese and Japanese.

A squirrel somehow got inside the house.
I sent Animal Lover Lynne over to watch and then catch him. When I checked on her, I discovered that Tigger was also watching the squirrel.
I thought about getting a terrarium to keep the squirrel, but this household doesn't need another pet! So I had her free him back into the wild.
Lynne let the squirrel loose here in the flower bushes.
I found Emad talking with Fiend the Black Dragon about Logic.
The next thing I knew, he had Fiend outside letting him fly.
It's rare for me to see the dragons fly because I usually get a message that there's not enough room. But this lot has plenty of space.
I watched the whole flight time and took a few screenshots.
Emad fed Fiend a fish.
I have 2 Neat sims in the household, Tyron and Sherry. That's all well and good, but they insist on picking up the pet toys. I found Pudge's Destruction meter fully red because he had nothing to chew on! Tyron had put all his chew toys away. Time to try retuning autonomous toy pickup.
I gave Pudge his chew toy. He'd been so good about not chewing furniture--no thanks to the Neat freaks!
Luna had wishes to work on her jumping skills.
She's doing well, but this last jump still gives her trouble.
She's willing to try though.
Tempest got spooked somehow, but Emad was able to calm her down.

Both Yin and her sister Yang live together in a townhouse given to them by their parents.Problem is Yang's constant loud parties that were destroying the home was a last straw for Yin.She drew a line down the middle and sealed off her half of the house leaving her sister to live in her filth.But they still break the boundries when Yin goes to clean the others half while Yang brings her slobby ways to crash in her sisters place.They love each other but are always at odds.
Am still working on it am actually trashing Yang's half with a disgusting toilet and tub broken TV etc and mouldy counters.

David is an adult when a new save is started.
Quick look as female.
David aged down. Aging down softened his face considerably but it made the female face way too long as his jaw height is lower than I would ever use on my own sims, although it does add a certain manliness to the male form which, unfortunately, translates into horsey for the female version.
I lifted his jaw, amongst other tweaks, and he has lost the manliness he once had but I am quite happy with the result and the female version is actually quite pretty and, if I placed him in my saves, he would probably start as a female.
Final version as female. I didn't bother changing the hair or clothes since this was just for a quick look.
