I had this exact same thing happen in my game about 2 weeks ago. He came to fix a computer, but he just knocked on the door endlessly until about 3am game time, then he'd come in and use the computer for awhile, then go back outside and resume knocking and do the whole thing over again. I didn't think to reset him, and I…
I came to the forum to check to see if anyone was having this issue. So, yeah, same thing here. I bought and downloaded the Movie Stuff pack and spent some time redecorating, then went to the Gallery to see what other people did with the pack. I exited and restarted the game and the Origin client and no luck. Good to know…
I just did the patch, and Origin popped up with "repairs" for Sims2, Dragon Age, and Dragon Age 2, and my Sims 4 won't load. So... I'm guessing something is wrong, but I have no idea what. I guess I'll play something else. Edit: Repaired Sims 4 twice and deleted the cache files in between, and got the game to load, so…

I was afraid to lose my household somehow, since I'm also having a problem where they're not saving to My Library. It worked, though, and I no…
> @Babisko said: > I had the same problem. Found my way through the bug forum to some other bug forum, and someone mentioned that it might be an issue with the lot itself. If you go to build mode and check the lot info, it might be a colored square with a box next to it that says name. If that's the case, just go to manage…
Okay, let's see. Sim guests won't leave the house, ever. Bartenders don't bartend. My sim has randomly changed her clothes for no reason. I had to delete everything in my "Tray" folder to get my game to load. That's just what I've noticed so far. Edit: And, saved households aren't showing up in my Library.
I threw a party, thinking they would leave when the party was over. Nope. I'm glad I only invited the current people staying in the house. Edit: And, the caterer has decided to stay as well. Edit #2: I threw a party at one of the friend/"house guest"'s house, invited all the squatters, and they stayed at the party instead…

I had to remove it, repair (might be able to skip this step), and leave it out in order for the game to load. As soon as I try adding it back in the game won't load again. I had quite a…
> @Rudiarose said: > Ok, loaded so it might be a server overload problem making family will keep you posted. I really don't see how it could be this when the program gives a "Not responding" message. I don't think on-line play enters into loading. I'm sure I could be wrong, and if someone would like to correct me, I'd…
So, there's a 45 minute wait on live chat. Let's see if I get anywhere, and if they have anything constructive to say. Edit: And, we've been moved to "Technical Discussions."
> @sarahewhy said: > I'm in... Just kept trying. Okay, so I've tried a couple more times, and still more crashes. But, let's say it finally loads without crashing. Am I going to have to try fifteen times every time I want to play the game? I'm extremely disappointed. I couldn't care less about toddlers, personally, and…
Yep, me, too. The game crashes while loading. I deleted the couple of mods I had, cleared the caches, ran the repair, then deleted all my CC, ran the repair, and still nothing. I never invested much in any households, so I'm going to uninstall and reinstall. The nuclear option, but hopefully it will work.
