@JordanNicoleJJ He sure gets all mushy at the sight of babies now haha
@BlueSimmer19 Thank you! I do like seeing them together, though more often than not they're quite awkward around each other... I hope that stage passes!
@ThePlumbob Yea I know how that feels, I'm excited for my next generation of sims so I think I'm going to do a little time hop in my next chapter, since I just posted a new chapter today
I'm so excited to see how generation three will pan out -- I like to see how each heir and their spouse act differently in terms of personality and their role in the legacy. It's always interesting to see how the different generations differ from each other! I also can't wait to see your Library build. You're a really good builder, at least compared to me!
@BlueSimmer19 Thank you so much! I don't really consider myself much of a builder, I much prefer furnishing and decorating. The prospect of the big community lots scares me!
I do think the next generation will be quite different to the previous ones, but who knows how it will all play out
Side note: Evil cousin Cassiel has also aged up and she's quite the oddball. Aside from being evil, of course, she also hates children and is a loner... but her aspiration is to become Friend of the World LOL! I'm somewhat fascinated by her (it does help that she's stunning).
Great update! I don't think it's really a bad thing to play your spare households. I personally don't do it, but i was never a rotational player to begin with
@BESS73 Yes! The family will be moving to that lot in the next update. It's one of the smaller ones in Neighbourhood 3.
@marcellala Thank you! I'm not really a full on rotational player, I'd find it exhausting to have a rotation where I have to play house A, B and C for a week each just to get to house D. What I do is more like checking in on them, playing one of the other families for about 2 days and go back to the main one, and that's really mainly due to the lack of story progression more so than anything else.
For me the perfect setup was The Sims 3 with the NRAAS story progression mod that would give you little updates on what the relatives that don't live with you were up to.
BTW, i read your Sims 4 review. And while i don't fully agree with everything you wrote, you're really good at pointing out positive aspects in a way that makes one see them, too. I'm not surprised, you're partly the reason i bought Spa Day :P
@marcellala Thanks so much for the feedback! I tried to be as objective as possible and look at both the positive and the negative. To be honest I'm really surprised I ended up being such a big fan of The Sims 4, before it came out all I did for several months was nothing but complain about it LOL
Uh oh I don't think Lilah is ready to settle down as yet ^^ But the houses! They are so beautiful. You're such a good builder My houses are all kinda boring looking
@Julyvee94 Are you joking? You're an amazing builder, the temple you made is gorgeous!
Thank you for the compliment - I think I'm a very predictable builder, I usually make everything extremely symmetrical. I'm really trying to spice my buildings up a bit for this challenge.
@ThePlumbob You really did well. I love both houses ^^ Well yeah, the Temple I'm normally better at building big stuff. Family homes are a struggle for me ^^
@iheartdinosx3 I really hope so too, since he's been so smitten with her from the start, but... You know those natural sim romances when you just know they are meant to be and it all just flows so easily? These two are not one of those.
Hmm, I'm concerned about Lilah... She seems a bit hesitant to lay down her roots. I'm not sure if she'll be able to stop with the traveling she loves so much. As she was talking to Jaxen, I couldn't help but notice the fact that she was so eager at the thought of leaving. I suppose not all relationships are bound to work out, although I still have hope.
@BlueSimmer19 It's a tricky situation. When they were on that deck together they were acting so awkward to each other, they wouldn't even kiss... It seems like a very on and off type of relationship. But then again, not all relationships are easy from the get go. Sometimes you have to work hard and find compromises... So who knows what will happen with these two (I honestly don't - I'm not that far ahead in my gameplay yet)
