For once The Sims should experience more active activities other than forcing your date to woohoo or you epically fail because you have to follow the linear restrictive goals, playing on their phones, or eating tons of pancakes. Maxis should develop a sports oriented expansion pack where Sims from kids (because no toddlers) to elders can enjoy a variety of different sports to help with their fitness and athletics skill. Kids should have T-Ball, soccer, and kickball. Teens and adults should have baseball, basket ball, hockey, and tennis. Elders can have their cricket thing.
This pack would sell for those who like sports and who want their Sims to actually have a reason to leave the house as of now there is no reason at all. Due to the locked up lengthy loading screen world and no base features there's nothing to do other than eat, sleep, poop, sleep, eat, poop, pass out from lack of sleep, pee self, become embarrassed, shower, repeat. So if The Sims 4 is to have any purpose, other than doing the same thing the past games have done, we need more outdoor activities. More reasons to leave the house.

I don't like sports why would this be another reason for me to leave my sims's house?

The Sims 4 General DiscussionAbout an Expansion Pack, it requires a major gameplay expansion.
For example, a "like/dislike hobby" system, my athletic sim could love "Swimming", hate "Basketball" and like any other sports.
The sims will be a little more unique if we could choose their favorite hobby.

The Sims 4 General DiscussionOutrageous, we British bring you the most civilized game in the world and this is the thanks we get? Grrr!
To be serious though I think this would be a great idea, the most suitable would be 1v1 or 2v2 games where our sims can actually do stuff together - beach volleyball would be a winner for me!
Well they could also play golf but I think that would be too hazardous for their fragile backs.

Then if they make a university EP (Which I'm sure they will XD) it could introduce scholarships and you can go to university for free.
But either way, I would just be excited for the gymnastics itself XD

The Sims 4 General DiscussionHow about a caber toss? Cheese rolling (then they'd have to give us hills), joggling (jogging while juggling), unicycle hockey, wheelbarrow racing (it requires two people, one in the barrow, the other pushing it), 3-legged racing, sack racing, egg and spoon race. Those last 3 would be good for kids.
Kite flying, hurling, village football (it dates back to the middle ages, and would be great to play around an neighbourhood. It's like soccer, but it has no rules, just two teams, and goals at either end of the village, anything goes, brawls happen, windows get broken)

Or realistically, as it is still played in Italy (calcio storico). Love the pants they wear when they play.

What? I think you mean lawn bowls.
Cricket is played mostly by young people.
