I would love all these things but I would really want the chicken coops plus cows, pigs, horses, etc

I'm wondering if there will be animals or some sort of nature reserve

They could add fir Christmas trees that we could plant in a pot and adopt for Christmas and then plant them out in the garden in the spring. I want watermelons and chocolate bonbons. More plant remedies that cure sickness in sims and pets and not just give different emotions. Also, bird/squirrel feeders and bug hotels, otters, badgers and ducks.

A good list of options. I’d especially love a Park Ranger career and hanging gardens! I hope that some sort of wildlife is added too. For example I’d like it if more small animals appeared if your sims lived sustainably and cleaned the environment (which I’m guessing we will be able to do based on the leak description?).

I know it’s not going to happen, but I just want as much improvements and deepening to off-the-grid and low-tech play as possible. I wanna the option to be fully a hermit in the woods who built everything by hand out of what they found lying around and has never seen a cell phone or supermarket.

Definitely chickens. And maybe between this, the existing off-the-grid (which is... not good? could be better?), Strangerville, and Outdoor Retreat, maybe in combination somewhere in there I can finally cobble together a weak approximation of the survivalist style Sims 4 save I’d love to play.
    Sometimes I stream.

This EA account is shared between two longtime roommates. The one most likely to be writing here is me, the taller of the roommates, whose opinions do not always represent the opinions of the shorter roommate.

This might happen at some point as the gurus are aware of the very populair Rags To Riches Challenge.

They might wanna support this at some point.

I would love grass roofs! A little ladder up to a roof garden would be so cute.

Ladders, Greenhouses, and a Farmer's Market. THat's my wishlist!

Farmer's market would be great, especially with the commune living/working.

Just curious, how would you want a greenhouse to work that we can't do now? I regularly set up a glass roof and windowed walls over grass floors to make greenhouses now. Most of what I'd want as improvements there would be hydroponics and to be able to plant in freezing temperatures when the ground is sheltered.

I agree on the ladders at least (a farmer's market... depends on how they implement it)

    I think we can get
    - Nectar making
    - New harvestables
    - Vertical gardens
    - Roof gardens
    - Food preserves
    - Fruit Juice
    - Soups
    - Vegetables, fruits and flower markets
    - Community garden
    - Vintage cas
    - Sewing
    - Second hand market
    - More off the grid stuff
    - Renewable energy (solar panels...)
    - Hopefully bikes for children
    - Planting trees in community lots
    - Candle making
    - Soap making
    - Water wheel
    - Water tank to catch rainfall

Unfortunatelly i can't imagine farm animals in an eco living pack.

It's possible to have farm animals, as free range stock, but the description emphasized community and working together so I am thinking there will be a lot of group activities.

I’m really wondering what cas will look like ? Hipster ? Hippie ?
Build/buy would be modern I guess, minimalistic, with a lot of wood tones and possibly grass roofs.

I was one of those few people who actually predicted that we would get this pack in 2020. I’m very pleased to see, that I was right.

As a person who is very much into this theme IRL, I have some specific hopes and thoughts about this pack.

These are my predictions for this pack:
    1. Many great leftover ideas from the Community Stuff Pack 1 will be featured in this pack.
    2. “Evergreen Harbour” will look like a mix between Brooklyn (New York, NY) and modern parts of Northern European cities like Copenhagen, Amsterdam or Berlin.
3.The overall theme will be a mix between something rustic / industrial and something very modern and urban. B/B-items will also reflect this style.
    3. We will see a mix between nature and city, like industrial flats with wall or roof gardens. The B/B-items will be made of natural and sustainble materiels like wood, bamboo, rattan, wool, cotton etc. Some B/B-items might look like it’s made out of reclaimed materials.
    4. One focus will be on “community space projects” which means that the sims actually have an impact on the city. The sims will make big DIY-projects like community gardens, city architecture, art installations etc. together with other sims.
    5. Another focus will be on “reducing eco foodprint” which means using sustainable energy sources, zero wasting etc.
    6. The CAS-items will be very fashionable and edgy. We will see “remanufactured” or “thrifted” styles of clothing. Think urban hippies, hipsters and bohemians.
    7. We will probably see something added to the Off The Grid lot trait.

The key words will be: CREATIVE, URBAN, FUN and GREEN!!!!

    Let’s see tomorrow.

Peace out! Love and harmony to you all!!!

There's this picture you can see some detail of what appears to be a public building, hopefully the city hall, and in the background some sort of container housing and logging or possibly bales of hay.

Yeah looks like a mountain town and not an island like Island Living.

I know I might be thinking too far, but what if cars are included in the patch and this pack adds eco-friendly cars? I remember there was a eco-themed store set in TS3 that included an electric car.

I saw some other comments like this, I can see it happening, it would make sense, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up 😂

I'm guessing it'll be full of rejects from the Laundry Day pack. Just like the rest of this idea.

Maybe they will use the modern artstyle that lost the vote for Laundry Day.
