Hi everyone. I've been a huge fan of these threads for a long time, and I finally have something to contribute.
This is my first ever Exchange upload. I welcome constructive criticism... but be nice. It has literally taken me weeks to work up the courage!
Thank heavens somebody built a Lot on that location I was dreading having to build one or find one, I hate doing big homes. But this is fantastic! Not overpowering, very stylish, a nice size - well done on your very first upload  It has gone in my game and I've left you a well deserved rec.
Also, many thanks and recs to Dragon123561 for the stunning McRose Hotel & Resort, JeremySims for the awesome Classically Cool Car Garage, Tiki for the delightful Penthouse and blewis for the amazing Bridgeview Fire Station.
Alas, my RH is almost full so I can't fit all the other creations in, but everyone has done a brilliant job. I just need a few 40x40 homes, which sadly seem to be lacking in this thread... hint, hint I have done one 40x40 myself:
I have been having fun playing with my Pirate Cove Theme Park. Most of the items are from the Boardwalk Venue set, BB and DV, so it could be placed in several different worlds.
CC FREE - 2 roller coasters, Pirates of the Simibbean adventure ride, carnival games, skating rink, bowling lanes, club with bar/dance floor, fireworks tower and much more!
Where did you get all those clothes and shoe shelves? :O
If it's CC, I won't get it cuz it always ruins my game XD But if it's a store item or part of an EP or SP, then I'd love to get it

I believe the clothing rack came with Ambitions and the shoe rack came with Generations. The cupboard looks like the Bug Lovers Display Case from Supernatural. Tiki is very clever at making EA stuff look like objects we don't even own. I'm pretty sure she has just used these with the 'MoveObjects on' cheat to make it look like a closet. Genius.
It is definitely not cc, as I have already put that Lot into my game and I always check all my downloads for cc with Custard before I install them.
@bklienhart - It turned out my problem related to store content in my DCCache folder - for some reason the launcher was having a problem with one or more files. I read that others were able to fix the "failed to share" problem by renaming the lot as you suggested. I will keep that in mind also if I ever have the same problem again. Thanks for the tip.
Yay! So glad you got it fixed. I love it. Everyone's creations are so grand! Beautiful jobs y'all.
Built at 49 Beach Drive in Roaring Heights. 20 x 30
Fully furnished 1 bedroom home. Great for a stylish couple.
All appliances upgraded.
No CC( CUSTARD clean) but lots of store content. Play tested.

ditto the above, also the two boxes/trunks are store content I believe.
yep, Worldly Goodies which someone at ea locked, but it can still be gotten if you can get the 'Best of 2010 Collection' which is currently a cys friendly set, so if you have enough of the sub sets you can pick up worldly goodies for free.
Reach the heights of fashion with the roaring styles offered here! Our stylist will be happy to outfit you. Chose your own style form the futuristic pedestals, or peruse the racks for clothing and perfumes which our savvy seller will be happy to help you with. Here is a remodel of my movie studio/vip lounge. The basement lounge with casino and spa is pretty much the same as my borealis studios lot but for RA I redid the film set for filmin of "The Wizard of Sims".
I also have the "Gale" household
Luxurious Penthouse with rooftop garden. With the interior made of marble, noble wood and gold, this is just the right place for your high society sim.
My sims are having a lot of fun with your Bowling & Burgers Roaring lot. I think I need to fire the bistro cook though - he spends all of his time at the poker table
My usual challenge is creating venues for Supernatural that can feel like part of the existing community and make sense there. The team did a jaw-droppingly awesome job with Roaring Heights, and gave us some great build assets. My project was to fit an Elixir Consignment venue into RH to support the Alchemy skill – on the surface, not an easy fit for the 1920s.
Except that, believe it or not, it really is a natural fit if one recalls that the early 20th Century was the heyday of occult fraternities and esoteric orders. So instead of taking the 'easy out' of a storefront crammed with metaphysical bric-a-brac, a gem cutter, alchemy station and consigment register, I had my community lot concept - an esoteric fraternal lodge.
Also, I like to try to build on small lots. Since the essentials are just the register, gem cutter and an alchemy station, 20x30 seemed like plenty of room to work with. No custom content is used, but I do use store content, expansions and stuff packs.
Egyptian themes dominated in the occult orders of the period. This lodge is no exception, tricked out with extravagant Art Deco 'faux-gyptian' motifs and fronted with a palm court and lotus pool. This garden is enclosed, yet open to the community, and mirrors the aims of the society in symbolic form:
Sleek bronze panthers stand as guardians of the grand entrance. What better emblem than a cat to suggest both curiosity and secretiveness?
Inside, most of the space is the lodge hall itself. During her or his six-month term, the Magister (or Magistra) gets to preside from this swanky dais seat. A small social parlor and a library and reading room are in the back. Craftsman style, seen in the furniture and temple pillars, was also typical of the period:
The Treasurer's seat is here by the front entrance, as members are expected to keep current on their dues. What isn't needed for upkeep goes to local charities. Have a bit more to give? Maybe one of our exclusive elixirs or some philosophical literature. There's the consignment register:
Once you have shown yourself to be trustworthy and have taken in the society's ethics of public service and good citizenship, you may be allowed to study the more erudite (and potentially dangerous) teachings, otherwise kept from casual view:
Aha! They really do have secret wisdom! Behold, the Sanctum of the order. Ooooh! Mystical and spooky!
And that's as much as I can tell you about it, unless you know the secret handshake. A Supernatural community venue presented as a period-appropriate metaphysical lodge, on a 20x30 lot. In overview:
For more about actual metaphysical societies of the time, I recommend Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manley P. Hall, 1928.

LOL, glad your sims are having fun. I was questioning myself from putting that object in, because sims are very drawn to it, while play testing it, but I never had the cook ignore his job duties.

I was able to do my first build for RH over the weekend, which is inspired by the super vibrant Deco architecture seen in cities like Miami.

Here is something I've been working on. It's modelled off of a converted Victorian mansion that had a big update in the art-deco period.

Thanks for hosting this thread - some amazing builds and sims posted here. :P

So here's my Elixir Consignment Shop for Roaring Heights, Arcana Arcanorum Lodge No. 23:
