I never really thought about this till now, but I would have to agree with what you said. It was never an issue with me. I enjoy how the townies all seem like they could be real people. They feel more realistic this way.
Hi! I recently got a new computer and I'm reinstalling all my games onto it. I have every dlc and it's taking a little bit longer than expected for it all the finish. Am I able to play the game, whats installed, without interfering with the rest of it installing?
I love the Goths and Calientes just because of how classic they are! But I think Bob Pancakes is my favorite! When Sims 4 first came out I played with him and Eliza and I still have their legacy going.
I've only ever made changes to their faces if it fit the story. Like maybe a teen sim, who has wealthy parents, wanted a nose job. Stuff along those lines. I usually just play them as is. I always find it interesting to see what the next gen will look like! I love seeing little family quirks get passed down. Like semitic…
I've played all iterations of The Sims and I've only ever gotten twins a handful of times. I can only think of one time while playing Sims 4, and it was pretty recent. I got them naturally without using any mods or gameplay traits.
This has been happening in my game for such a long time and it's super frustrating because it is a cool feature, but only when it works properly. I love when my sims are invited to a bar or club, but at a reasonable time like 6-9pm... not 5 in the morning when my sims are about to wake up! And my children sims are still…
Yes! I've noticed this as well. I've seen a few knight helmets and astronaut helmets and most of them are wearing shorts, too, and a weird amount of accessories!
I have been seeing this quite a lot recently, as well. At first I found it funny, but after a while it started breaking the immersion I had while playing the game.
They pretty much react the same way at school as before. The same old chance cards pop up, although I think I've noticed a few new ones so far. Now they'll occasionally bring home projects to work on for grades and extra credit work. The parents or care-takers of the sim children and teens now will receive chance cards…
This has been happening to my game as well. I've had two sims die from being hysterical, and I've owned the game since launch and I've only had a handful of emotional deaths and it was only because I "forced" it to happen. I think it's a glitch.
I'm a boy and I used to favor playing female sims, especially when I was younger playing 2 and 3, but now it's pretty even. I don't try to manipulate what the gender will be, but I'll hope for a certain. My game seems to favor female sims over male sims though.
I turned them into vampires and made them a part of one of the covens that live Forgotten Hollow. I have made them over to appear more like their sims 2 counterparts. Speaking of them, was their mother's name always Katrina? I remember it being very different in the Sims 2. They were always one of my favorites to play…
This is the case for me, too. I rarely see townies at community lots. I usually just see them roaming the streets and just see people my sims already know at venues. What's the point of making my own townies if they don't actually show up? I even make clubs for them so they'd be more inclined, but it's rare I ever see them…
Most of mine tend to be bigger mothers, a teenager daughter, a child son, and they all look nothing alike and appear to be racially ambiguous. Ever since City Life came out they've all had very ethnic names. At first I was happy for the diversity, but now since every townie sim "appears" to be diverse, no one is.
I play rotationally. I usually start with one family, and I'll play for maybe 2 sim weeks, sometimes more or less depending on how I'm feeling. Then I'll either create a new family or play an existing or pre-made one. I rarely delete pre-mades. I feel like most of them are made pretty well, and I like the variety in them.…
I'm excited! I've never really played with supernaturals in past games. I sort of dabbled with them, but these vampires look like so much fun to play with. I've been having a good time figuring out what stories i'm gonna tell!
This also happens to me practically every day in my game. They'll call at like 5am asking my sims child to "hang out tonight?" I'm sorry, but tonight is like 9pm, not 5am, and you're asking a child. I find it very annoying.
Yes, I agree. I find it very annoying that this happens if you choose to leave a festival before it's over. I'm not sure if there is a fix. This hasn't happened in my game since around the time I first bought the expansion when it was released, but when it did happen, It sort of "fixed" itself. I just had my sims go home…
Have you ever sent your sims there during a festival and left before it was over? I don't know for certain, but I've read it on here a few times that it cause this issue later on when visiting the district.
This has happened numerous times in the spice district in my game. I'll send my sims there and all the decoration and festivities are all toppling over each other and clipping awfully. It hasn't happened in recently in my game. I've read somewhere that if you leave a festival prematurely it can cause this to happen.
Hmm. It might be a glitch then. Because every time I've had my sims do it, it's be checked off on their job panel. Maybe the action is being canceled or something? I know thats happened to me before.
