  • Might be more useful to move this to the PC thread as this is the console thread so it might not be seen by the people you want to view it.
  • Tbh I think you should just gracefully admit defeat. We can’t all be right all of the time 😊
  • Murphy bed is an ok addition. What leaves a bad taste in my mouth is the repetitive new objects. Chairs? Really?! Do we need anymore chairs? No we don’t! Toilets? Nope don’t need anymore of those either. This was a great opportunity to scale down some of the things like a portable cauldron - even if you don’t have realm of…
  • Hats, booties, cardigans or blankets for toddlers would be so cute. I’ve got a baby now and I love the knitted things that my step mum makes us. Also a way to develop storytelling for family players.
  • I quiet like that there is a bit of a gap between the two as it allows me to decide whether I think the packs are worth it or not before I buy them without the temptation of actually having a product to purchase. I can be a bit of an impulse purchaser so if the option isn’t there then I can spend some time on the forum and…
  • Thanks @SilentKitty please let us know how you get on and good luck 😊
  • @TheBristolSimmer you might find the rotational play discussion helpful to answer your question. Time does continue and this will have a direct effect on your sims ‘term’ if you play another family before completing their term of uni. As mentioned above this could be so so grades or it could be going on probation. Most…
  • Thanks to all the people who are sharing their experiences so far of rotational playing. It’s super useful for me to know the best way of tackling it once the game is released on console - especially as I won’t be able to mod the game so will need a tried and tested method to make it work. Frustrating though that the uni…
  • I’ve seen that on a few of the game changers videos as well. Their sims needs can all be really bad and then suddenly all jump up once they are in class. James turners vid showed a sim sleeping on a bench for a really short period of time and then jumping the energy need to full. It’s got to be a glitch! A handy one though.
  • I’d be really interested to keep hearing about people’s experiences of rotational playing as they continue to experiment. Such a shame it’s been made so complicated though 🙄
  • The English simmer was talking about this on one of her videos. It’s because pets are part of your household so if you have a sim and a cat in your household when you try and move to uni you are in effect ‘splitting’ the household with your sim going into a separate household and the cat staying by itself in its own…
  • @RionAgrias the sim gurus have said we will be getting a patch update before the release of discover university so that should pretty much fix the bugs that have already been mentioned in the PC version. The toddlers not eating their dinner is driving me mental at the moment 🤦🏼‍♀️
  • Looks like such a good expansion so far from the game changer videos I’ve been watching. I’m a bit frustrated though that rotational play doesn’t seem to be very easy to do and that getting a degree takes so long pretty much using up the whole of the young adult time frame unless you turn aging off.
  • Sounds like a bug which is super annoying.
  • [quote="SnoppyDoo;c-17314648"]I'm so upset that I can't play on rotation because I had 5 sims all move into 3 different dorms with a split of 2/2/1 so I decided to play with my 2 of my sims and play through one semester and then switch to the next household for their first semester but changed over and was greeted with the…
  • Not every degree comes with the need for a presentation - do you definitely need to give one? For each class the UI explains whether it’s a term paper, exam or presentation you need to do to complete the semester. I’m pretty sure I watched one of the game changers early access videos and they were bummed because they…
  • University sounds awesome (I’m a console player so have to wait until it’s released) but the rotational play bit is a bit of a bummer now I’m used to that style of play. But you can’t have everything!
  • Yeah I saw that on James turners let’s play which seems a bit counterproductive 🙄 a lot of students have part time jobs as well as being part of sports teams during their uni experiences. Perhaps it was just too complex to have it any other way.
  • I’m interested in finding out how this works as well. I don’t share a game but have several families I rotate around with. I usually change my family at 6am on a Sunday morning to try and avoid sims being late for work/school. I’ve seen a few comments on another thread but they didn’t really make much sense to me. I…
