I haven't played TS4 in so long, I've forgotten the members of my family. What am I waiting for? Don't know. I tried to play a couple of months ago, but got really bored and quit. Maybe I just needed some time away. I've never played any parts of Get Together and haven't there been some updates and Stuff packs since? I know I bought them I just can't remember the names. I sure hope there is a restaurant update, that might be fun.

  • I know commercial tech usually lags behind what's capable, but I'm only excited for a possible TS5 to see what developments have occurred that will allow for a new different Sims gaming experience. Hopefully, the best of all three games can be incorporated into the next series. For now, I'm coming around to TS4. It's a…
  • No, I don't love it. Sometimes it's a fun, but I don't feel the same compulsion to play it as I did with the prior games. I'm not really down on it though, I just hope that the creators are taking copious notes as "lessons learned" so that some of the missteps aren't repeated in The Sims 5.
  • Don't the interactions remain, if you've purchased Spooky Stuff? #TeamTreat
  • Hmmm...I thought of a few... Getaway...(get it?). Vacation themed. Get Busy...hobbies Get Physical...sports Get to Class...here's your Univeristy equivalent Get Lost...kind of vacation, but more Island type Get Discovered...Hollywood/celeb It's harder than you think to come up with clever names for new games. I hope they…
  • I like winter. I always wished they'd have some type of expansion or game pack based on a ski resort. I would love to see my Sims TS4 Half Pipe or ski or toboggan/sled or ride a snowmobile...love seeing them ice skate in TS3. Of course my computer hated winter, but it was worth the lag sometimes
  • The point I was making was not in regard to a time schedule for TS4, but about the future of the series if the current game isn't successful. Additionally, I did not speculate on the length of time the current game would last or continue to be developed. Since the initial question was, is it unfair to others if some…
  • Maxis Producer Grant Rodiek states, “We're not working on Sims 5. We're not thinking about Sims 5. If Sims 4 isn't successful, there won't be a Sims 5.” Clearly he's not one to mince words. So there you have it; like it or hate it, you have to support it. Otherwise this may be the death of the franchise. The question is,…
  • Fries (from the festival food carts TS3)
  • Creative (...for using abbreviated alliteration. HA!)
  • Hate to say it, but the most exciting thing about the game - thus far and for me - is when the new content comes out. Each release represents a chance for me to go from just liking the game to simply loving it. I'm one of those people who didn't mind $10 a month, but all those folks who complained about too much content…
  • I didn't realize I'd subscribed to so many and this only those who actively post TS4 Stuff. DutchSims4Master - Along with Chrill, these guys are more than builders, they're architects. ChrillSims3 - (see above) Simified - I love Arthur...he does great builds and his LP's are cool. TheCurtisParadisShow - He's a pro through…
  • The preteen idea that has been floating around is a good idea too. Having a kid that looks to be about 9 or 10, suddenly age up to what looks to be about 18 is just as abrupt as having a 9 or 10 year old leap from crib.
  • You make very good points. I'm never really disappointed by releases - I'll probably buy everything that's released (ok, not the goth stuff...not my thing) but $10 won't break me and I do appreciate monthly releases. Having said that and this kind of goes back to LGR's "Why do you hate The Sims" vid, I would gladly wait…
  • There were so many more things that could have been included to really make it a "cool kitchen" I know on my list I had such appliances as a toaster, juicer/soda maker, the mixer, pizza oven, fruit dryer, freezer (to store food longer), more types of the existing appliances, just to name a few. Instead, it seems like they…
  • #masongamer HAHAHA! Obviously I'm going to agree with someone who has Derrick Hale in their post. (I'm obviously a Hale Family Fan) but you're the first person I believe who mentioned toddler torture... Not going to say I didn't get many hours of fun out of that too...it is what it is...but hey, even if they had a few game…
  • I usually keep them up all night doing the tasks, then use the Moodlet fixer reward to get everything back in the green, then have them brew and drink the appropriate tea right before leaving for work.
  • Once I got the world with the Pre-School...that door and play pen cancelled all that out. I didn't play them in S2 so I missed out on them being able to escape their cribs...that was a fun animation. Oddly enough early on in my Sims play, I use to rush through the toddler stage...once they were potty trained, and could…
  • I miss the little brats. They cried all the time, woke the whole house up, were always hungry or needing attention, and if you didn't lock the door they went and blocked the top of the stairway or started roaming the house. But they were fun...the biggest challenge was to send them to bed completely satisfied so they…
  • I'm a guy Simmer. I tend to play males and females. It's funny though, I can whip up a guy Sim, name him, give him a personality, and outfit him in minutes, but females...ugh...I'll look up an hour later and still be tweaking her. I'll be saying things to myself like, "She can't wear those shoes with that dress!" or "That…
  • Now I'm going to fill the fridge with them. I want to see if I can get the whole family breaking wind at the same time. Hahaha.
  • I think toddlers will likely come a la the dishwasher, ahead of an EP with pre-teens. Not sure what that would be though. It's little consolation now, but I bet you this much, The Sims 5 will issue with all life stages. When they do arrive, want them to be the needy cry babies they were in S3. I want them to shake those…
  • The first time the mother in my family let one go, I was sitting there like, "did girl friend just fart?" I thought I was hearing/seeing things...then she did again. I was so embarrassed for her, because she's every bit the lady. HA!
  • On every platform that exists, Simmers are asking for Toddlers; I don't understand why the default opinion is that EA isn't listening? Company's pay millions of dollars for market research which in this case is being given for free. Why not consider that they are working on it, instead of assuming they aren't? For every…
  • Congrats! I know how hard it is to get that at a decent price these days. It took me over a year and I finally found one for $20 just the other day. Can't wait for it to arrive.
  • That is absolutely stunning!
  • Add me. I really want the T-Mobile stuff, but any of it would be great.
  • Favorite Set: LEVEL UP COLLECTION. (Because every man should be able to escape the wife and kids in his own home. MANCAVE! MANCAVE! MANCAVE!) Favorite Venue: THE BOARDWALK. I'm an amusement park nut and it reminds me of old time seaside amusement parks. Favorite World: LUCKY PALMS! :D Favorite Premium…
  • Love the baseball idea, but I think it'd be difficult to animate a game within The Sims. Of all of the sports in the game, none are team sports (that we see anyway) A baseball stadium as a rabbit hole, I could see. If the ballpark is a rabbit hole, Sims could exit with moodlets, "Caught Game Ball" "Team Lost/Struck Out…
