KP Sweet Treats + Deliciously Indulgent Bakery = a perfect recipe

I posted about this in the KP forum, but I'm guessing that particular forum doesn't see much traffic. I do apologize if this is totally the wrong place to post this. I just got KPST as a gift, and I think it would go perfectly with the bakery venue. If anyone knows of any lots that use both I'd really appreciate if you'd share. Also any lots that use sweet treats would be great as well. An ice cream parlor or candy store could be fun, festival lots, and even houses. I've searched the exchange and found a few things that were really well done, but would love to have more.

    Congrats on getting KPST! :D

I agree, Sweet Treats has finally met its match with the bakery. It's also great to have all the extras for an ice cream shop, a candy shop hangout, etc.

Here is the link to a thread with bakeries and other builds. If you browse through them, you hopefully will find at least a few that already have ST items included. But, you can always add them to bakeries that you really like.

If I come across any more threads, I'll add them also.

ETA: There's also a forum called Creative Corner. It's fast-moving with all the activity, but if you don't find enough builds, you might want to also post an inquiry there to see if anyone has bakeries that include Sweet Treats objects.

    Here's the link:

I agree about the ice cream/sweet shop. I have made an ice cream shop for every town I've played in using KPST. I've even made a few for the vacation destinations. Okay, so I love ice cream a little too much.

I often plop down that awesome cake-shaped venue from KPST and then modify it with store content and stuff from EPs. Sims love it! It's always hopping in my game, no matter when my sims visit. I usually have 10+ sims there at any given time.

Congrats! I know how hard it is to get that at a decent price these days. It took me over a year and I finally found one for $20 just the other day. Can't wait for it to arrive.

    Thank you both for replying.

MarLin114- that link to the list of bakeries was exactly what I was looking for and it turned up several gems! I should have looked a little harder I guess. It's just like me to start using the forum right before they're shutting it down.

Halle_M- I agree, that venue that came with the stuff pack is very cute. I made it a local watering hole, but it would also be cute as a bakery. :)

I hope you enjoy it too Dexx216! I know a lot of people hated this stuff pack, but I'm totally in love with it. I find it so creative and different. I just wish I was a better builder because I'd love to make a whole world using it.

Oh! This is the world that came instantly to mind...there isn't one sweeter anywhere to be found (that I know of). :D

Created by well-known and much-respected Rflong 7/13, this is a masterpiece of cake! I'm not sure if it will install without the required EPs but it's something to download and save in case you want to play it sometime in the future.

And a mediafire link for the original Cake Island is on Rflong 7/13's blog (third page, clicking older posts at the bottom of the first page)

I can totally see Sweet Treats fitting in here very nicely! I really want cake now :D

The forums should only be down for a few days at most, more time to browse and plan.

BakingNerd has done a beautiful job putting together items from both the KP Stuff pack, and the bakery.

Also, thanks so much for the gift PsychoChick966! It's the first time anyone has ever gifted me an item so it was such a pleasant surprise. Made my day. :)

I totally agree! It's been forever since I actually build in any sims game (due lack of time I want to spend on making it). I recently purchased the stuff pack and made my own bakery slash cafe. Totally in love with it!

I got my copy for $4.99 in the discount pile at Best Buy. It's never online on sale, so you just have to keep checking stores, but KPSW is available if you look.

I actually already had your park in my game Karritz. It's perfect. I just left you a fav and a rec. thanks for sharing it.

Here's a bakery I just found that uses the KPH stuff pack really successfully: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=8248843

Thanks again PsychoChick966. You're very sweet (pun intended)!
