Since I find myself on the Random Comments page I thought I'd share that yesterday there was a huge question mark on the RL weather calendar. It was Pascha (Easter) for the Eastern Christian church. Since the main celebration is at Midnight Services on Saturday, we have a brief Agape (means loves) service on Sunday afternoon, followed by a picnic. So, okay, I failed to make the call for the service, but hubby stressed how we needed to at least make a brief showing at the picnic in the park. You see, it first rained that morning and then that rain . . . wait for it . . . turned into SNOW. Only the second time since we've been here that it has snowed as late as May. I dressed appropriately and only my hands got cold, as it's very hard to eat a hotdog in a bun, one-handed.

I'm so peeved off right now. First, Wedding Stories is STILL broken so trying to plan any wedding with that pack is out of the question. Second, when Alexis and Keyvon went to Tartosa to get married, other Sims randomly showed up and kept going to the wedding arch and getting into the frame and ruining the pictures I was trying to take.

For my most recent wedding, it wasn't random Sims, but rather invited guest who were basically doing the same thing. I ended up with useless pictures, as a result. So, I simply rolled back my game and did it all again. Second time around, while not problem free, I was able to get the pictures to help tell the story, as I showed in my update, "White Lace & Promises".

I do love this pack, but the bugs must be fumigated for it to be all that the designers meant for ti to be. All of this to say I feel your pain.

If by any chance you are playing this save without mods, EA is still looking for vanilla affected saves to help them fix it. Even though it's an older bug, @EA_Cade posted another request for save files a month ago.

If by any chance you are playing this save without mods, EA is still looking for vanilla affected saves to help them fix it. Even though it's an older bug, @EA_Cade posted another request for save files a month ago.

@mightysprite I do have WooHoo Wellness installed. I'm not sure if this is part of that mod but under Romance they both have the option to "Decide to No Longer Consider Each Other Family" which i've never seen when before when i've not had this mod installed.

I was today years old when I found out there was a tripod in the Sims 4 where you can take some actual good pictures of your Sims and not have to rely so much on selfies.

@Brd709 Since it happens with the mod removed I think your save still might be useful if you can take the time to send it in! It is definitely a bizarre bug

Okay the Moschino pack is officially my favorite pack in the game. Why? Because not only does it have the tripod where I can actually pose my Sims and take nothing but outstanding pictures regardless of photography skill level, but there are some frames in that pack to where I can make a family college. This is awesome!

I am going to have to try that. I do know that 'studio' set up allows for some really good photos, too. I set it up on the grounds outdoors where Erik and Kayleigh got married. Trying to get her over there was problematic, but I did managed to capture a couple of sweet moments from its use.

So i encountered a sim who had the title Entrepreneur above their name. When i click this sim there is an option to invest in "legal" money making scheme. When i clicked on this you can put some money towards it from 50 Simoleans to 1000 Simoleans. My sim self's grandson Frankie Bheeda put $1000 Simoleans towards this "scheme"

Which pack is this from? I've never encountered someone with "Entrepreneur" above their name before. I have no mods apart from Carl's Dine Out mod and MCCC.

That is a very interesting question. I've never seen it, either. True enough I don't have every single pack offered, but I have quite a few. I look forward to learning the answer.

Me encantaría tener jacuzzi a ras de piso, que mi Sim sea Chef y maneje su restaurante (como el Mod de Carl´s) sin tener que usar mods. No entiendo cómo se dedicaron a Kits repetitivos con ropa y muebles que ya existen...Personalmente me gusta construir, pero mucho más jugar. Tampoco entiendo cómo Sims 2 y 3estando lejos de la tecnología de hoy tenían más jugabilidad, objetos etc. Juego desde Sims 1y nunca tuve que usar Mods ni CC (de hecho los conocí hoy con Sims 4). Eran juegos completos.

@Ellupelluellu Thank you! When i started this save back in 2021 i never encountered Bess Sterling so i'm guessing she has long gone or has been culled. Does anything happen from these "investments"? Does the sim who invests get any money back? I keep asking for investment results every day but the sim says "it's going to be a while"

Sometimes when playing a different household, a Sim may receive a call from Bess asking them for some funds to help her get started on a new project. The player can choose to help or not. She'll continue to call and ask for more Simoleons and the player can stop giving it to her at any time, at which point she'll apologize and repay the Simoleons given to her. If the player continues to give Simoleons, at least sometimes her business will flourish and she pays them half of the earnings, §25,000. Additionally, if a sim invests, and her business flourishes, they will get a weekly payment from the business' earnings.

Sometimes a sim may receive a call from Bess telling them that if they'd like to look as happy as her, they'd have to pay her 1 Simoleon, if they choose to pay her, the sim who received the call will become temporarily happy.

Nice to hear The Sims team are fans of The Simpsons!

I'll keep an eye on this. The sim I encountered was not Bess Sterling but it was another newly generated Sim. The Bheedas are both level 9 in their careers and are earning a decent amount of income. I will keep an eye on this and see whether Frankie Bheeda has lost $1000 or doubled it.
