A park where the NPC townies can :
- sit (once for all) on the ground with a picnic basket and do tasks like eating, talking, playing with phone games, Study for school or do homework.
- play with a ball (football or soccer)
- play with dogs
- sunbath
- do yoga
- meditate
- take a nap
- read a book

The Sims 4 General DiscussionI see. Maybe they could add these picnic and sunbathing interactions as lot traits instead of making a whole new lot type. They also need to make this dependent on good weather. I don't wan to see sims trying to sunbath in the middle of winter or during rain. I rarely take my sims to parks because there's nothing usually there that they can't do at home and the few other sims that show up will just play chess and do nothing else.
