Yes, I plan on getting Paralives as soon as it's released (possible 2021)
Hopefully this release date is at least 2 more years because they have a lot of live mode and life stages work to do. People are in such a rush but the second they receive an empty game they will be outraged.

Maybe, but maybe more grace. If there aviable to get meniful relationships, careere rabbit holes, and ages down this year.I don't see early access being problem if it's next year.
Less than 1 hour until the premiere of the Live Mode showcase of Paralives. Let's see how the game establishes itself in the increasingly competitive Life Sim market:

On topic, I really liked the gameplay trailer today. I liked the variety in progressing through the barista career, the ways interactions and wants/whims were shown, and the UI in general.
I also liked the honesty about Early Access having bugs and missing Features.
I'll be surprised if the game can actually do all free expansions. Pleasantly surprised, to be sure, but surprised. But I suppose if they keep the Patreon up, that could be viable. Otherwise, they'll eventually hit a point when the game isn't generating enough income to support new development. (just facts of capitalism, unfortunately)
I, regretably, don't have the free cashflow to support the patreon, but I'll defniately be checking the pocket book when Early Access rolls around.

Excited for this game but a little annoyed at the same time they are doing what the Sims do to us. 4 beard options 2 of them are hideous mustaches they use one as mockery naming the character "mustache man" really is it that hard to give men some stylish options and not ignoring them or making them a joke.

If those jobs are active, not rabbit holes, I'm buying this game.
They will have rabbit holes.
I imagine that some jobs are bound to be rabbitholes, but having playable objects tended by our own sims instead of NPCs is a very welcome addition. I wish we could have that in TS4. We could either have our own cafe or just go and work at some neighbourhood cafe as a job.

Relax, it's still in development. They might add more

What's really jarring to me right now, is the clear and distinct difference in styles between the Parafolk and their surroundings.
The outlines and and Borderlands-esque detailing applied to the Parafolk are a complete contrast to many of the objects and "smooth" textures. I think they really ought to pick one or the other and stick with it, because the combination of the two just isn't working for me. It's not terrible, but it is noticeable. Whether they will change that at this stage... eh, I doubt it, but that's really my only complaint.
Great to hear that early access will start in 2025, that's something to look forward to!
Sims 4 Wish List:
> Option to toggle on/off random townie generation.
> Turn vacation worlds into residential worlds.
> Option to purchase separate worlds or a world pack.
I’ve held these thoughts in for like half a year now, since we couldn’t discuss as patrons, but…
I LOVE the jobs system of upgrades, the primary [music] and secondary [guitar] skills, the relationship labels, the drag and select group interactions, chance cards, points/traits combo personality.
To improve, I want more long-term wants, but the short-term whims they showed are context-dependent, a plus. I also am not sold on the needs just being a notification rather than an indicator bar. It’s certainly different.
I wonder if PR will be more conservative or introduce a lot more new features to compete with these other life sims.

Might is the key word. My criticism is legit until they add more beard options and make unibrow girl to go alongside mustache man.

As someone who recently became a Patreon member, I agree.

I noticed the guitar song was what child was this?
Greensleeves. The tune was reused for What Child is this, as was/is common for folk songs.
Sorry, nerd side came out.
