Seeing these posts about the pack have made me want to buy it. I have until January 3rd to get it at $14.99. Do any of the robots work in other worlds or just here in Batuu?
They function more like robots in Batuu, but they are more like remote control toys everywhere else.
Connor Ren of the Knights of Ren and Lt. PL-600 of the First Order (or, to their respective superiors, fetch boy A and fetch boy B ) enjoy their meals together in-between missions:
"How, Connor? Just tell me... how are you doing that?!"
The two sims in my banner are both force sensitive, albeit firmly in the thrall of the dark side due to their upbringing. I decided that the crystals they will find on Batuu will determine whether they are redeemable or not - red means no, green and blue mean yes and every other color staves off the decision. In the screenshot Connor just came out of his first lightsaber challenge with a saber Kylo lended to him (aka one I purchased with credits). The challenge gained him a blue crystal.
In-story this is Ki Adi Mundi's lightsaber that Connor won from the sim he dueled and it broke during the fight.
I’m getting closer to getting the second generation to Batuu. After saving my household and starting a new save, Obi-Wan and Leia lost their kyber crystals. I was able to get Obi-Wan a blue crystal again for his but I didn’t have another green one for Leia so she ended up with a purple one. Poe got purple, Rey got yellow, Padme got green and Ahsoka got white. Jade will save the other crystals up to add to whatever Ahsoka gets on her visit, as at least one in the next generation will need a red one 😏.
The first generation is still having children. Luke hasn’t had any, Sienna had Alina and Landen with Akeem Landgraab, and Angelo with Gavin Richards (as Akeem didn’t exist in the new save). Sapphire has already has Cyrus with husband William Gunn and is now pregnant with a daughter.
The second generation is about to start having kids. Obi-Wan has got a local girl, Nawai Ngata, pregnant, while Leia has just married Han and is having a baby boy (I didn’t even have to cheat!) who will be named Ben. Poe has just moved out (I aged him up a day early since it was the weekend) and Rey has adopted a dog called Chewbacca 😄 that she will take with her when she leaves. She has four days to aging up, and the twins Padme and Ahsoka have seven. Rey and Ahsoka will be heading to Batuu, where Ahsoka will become a Galactic Smuggler. Rey has been challenging people to lightsaber duels every spare moment she can 😂. She will probably get to do that a lot while her sister works in her aspiration.

I made up a little story where Ki Adi Mundi's kyber crystal breaks in half and Connor and Daniel put one half each in lower powered lightsabers that they use for practise. At this point they still have to earn their red ones from Kylo.
Anyway, Daniel's combat style is "levitate lightsaber at opponent":
This picture is technically Connor dueling a challenger and him losing the weapon. In-story this is Connor dueling the man, while Daniel (out of camera) force-wrestles the weapon from his hand and directs it against him.
The game always spawns the same opponent for the lightsaber challenge, therefore I decided that this human is a curator/historian and their trainer.
Ahsoka and Rey have just completed their trip to Batuu. Ahsoka completed the Galactic Privateer aspiration and gained level 5 Scoundrel 😃. Rey just hung out and talked to the locals mostly since she couldn’t do much since she was pregnant. She did provide some distractions at times when Ahsoka had to venture into the First Order district, and then that job was taken over by Rogue, Aldir Phet, who joined the household and is likely to get married to Ahsoka. Ahsoka got escorted off the Resistance base after using up 7 dataspikes and getting zapped 7 times trying to get into the holotable... oops 😬. But she made up for it by doing the Kessel Run on the Millenium Falcon in 13 parsecs!
Now they’re home again, Ahsoka and Aldir will move out into a Batuu home where Ahsoka will become an Interstellar Smuggler. Haven’t quite decided for Aldir yet. Rey will remain in the family home and raise her daughter (whose father is Father Winter. Their first date was at a clothing store 🤣🤣).
Padme has moved out to live with her aunt Sapphire, uncle William and cousins Cyrus and Kylie. Poe had a daughter Krystle to Alex Moyer, who has now married Luke, Poe’s uncle. Luke already has a son, Seth. Obi-Wan has two children to different women, Kenobi and Siri. Leia and Han have Ben, and they’re expecting another boy soon. And second aunt, Sienna, has three children to two different fathers (mainly because the first father got left behind when I had to change saves), Alina, Landen and Angelo, and now has married the unedited version of her Sulani father, Paka’a Uha! Double oops 😬.
So now Ahsoka and Aldir will have at least three kids, one of which will become the heir that will go to Batuu and join the First Order.
Question - if you have multiple people in a household on Batuu, can they do different aspirations while there, ie. one join the Resistance and one join the First Order?

You'll know this by now, but, yes, it's allowed. Sims can also defect by talking to the opposite faction leader. This will reset their reputation to zero.

to reflect the flow of my story I replaced all the Disney npcs with my own sims. Of some I only edited their outfit in CAS, others got a full surgery via MCCC.
Left sim:
Lt. Agnon is still the First Order district's leader, but in a series of recent skirmishes with the resistance he lost an eye.
I consider him unredeemable and the saga will end with his capture or maybe even death.
Right sim:
Captain Anderson is a veteran of the old rebel alliance who recently rejoined the resistance at Batuu. He has proven himself enough by now to become the new commander, allowing Vi Moradi to pursue other exploits.
Anderson is actually Vi Moradi, genderswapped and everything-else-too-swapped. The sim still has the SNPC_Vi - identifier hidden trait and therefore does all her interactions. I still have my original Captain Anderson for when I want to play him (just making sure to never have him in the same frame as Vi).
Cole Anderson is Captain Anderson's long lost son, a Force user and redeemed dark sider (I showed him off under the alias of Connor in the previous screenshots). I swapped him in for Rey, using the same method as I did with his father. As a major franchise character Rey is better off doing her movie stuff elsewhere than lingering at Batuu.
In the screenshot Cole is dueling one of my other force sensitive sims, Simon O'Malley.
What brings us to the Kylo-replacement, Caroline Phillips, nee O'Malley:
Caroline is Simon's (and the previously shown Daniel's) mother. She is a long-time supporter and major funder of the First Order, a distinguished entrepreneur, but recently snapped (long story).
Just like Rey, Kylo has business to attend elsewhere, therefore Caroline will perform all Kylo Ren interactions, but unlike him she is very low in the Knights of Ren as seen in that she only "wears" a painted on mask around her eyes. In-story she replaces Cole as Kylo's apprentice.
And finally with Hondo I was a little uninspired. He got into a First Order/Resistance crossfire and is recovering in a hospital and later in his private quarters. Meanwhile a droid runs the business. She doesn't even have a name yet and still goes by "Hondo".
Now as a teen, Anna is back..
Anna: "Hondo, I can do my own missions now! I really can!
Hondo:" You still are very young.. maybe when you grow up a bit?"
Anna: "Really??"
Hondo: "Maybe one game of sabbaac , we will see.. Your mom will go to a mission with Chewbacca in the meantime.."

Ooh, I like your replacements. After seeing this, I want to replace Rey and Kylo as well. My kylo replacement might have some resemblances to yours. She looks awesome.
Hondo and Vi Moradi feel generic enough to stay because they are not shown in the movies.
I don't own the pack and i'm not interested in the missions neither in the world. But would someone be kind enough to let me know what can i do with JtB's gameplay objects in other worlds? The cas looks like it can be used in a medieval save...

CAS would certainly fit in with medieval saves, but it also looks off with the other CAS, closer to alpha than to Maxis match in my opinion. I use Batuu + normal CAS + cc at Batuu, but rarely ever Batuu clothing in the main world. Most of the build/buy would be useful in apocalypse, sci-fi, cyberpunk and Strangerville saves, maybe also steampunk, but gameplay wise you'd only get the Sabacc table as a futuristic poker game.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that there'd be ways to integrate Batuu into other saves if one got it as a present maybe, but for players not interested in the main theme I don't think there'd be a reason to buy it.
Anyway, I came to dump the final outtakes from my tumblr story here. Have some lightsaber action in other worlds:
This is so stupid. Gavin, a non-force sensitive space pirate, took Daniel's red lightsaber from him, so Daniel attacked him with his blue practise saber. But since Gavin's fitness is higher, he won that fight. His first ever lightsaber duel, when he cannot even feel the weightless blade without the Force Realistically Gavin of course could have held his own for a while, but he shouldn't be able to win against Daniel. Lightsaber should have been a skill of its own (as should swimming).
"We don't know these men."
Junkyard worker: "Make yourself useful and slice the trash!"
Gavin: "I'm trying, but it resists."
Mother gets cut by the prodigy lightsaber wielder - this once again brings to mind the dimensions of that "flower"!
@telmarina .... So far in Oasis Springs I have my Star Wars Restaurant and Night Club on my Star Wars strip. I'm still working on my Star Wars museum which will have Sabaac tables instead of chess tables. I've seen more great ideas on the Batuu positive thread. So much potential.
You can make a restaurant and have the servers, cooks, and wait staff wear Batuu garb. My servers are either Luke or Princess Leia. I built this and my Sims visit often.
Restrooms and wine cellar is downstairs.
Place the Sabaac table in your home and have the guys or gals over for a little friendly card game where your Sims will lose or win Simoleons. Learned this from the Batuu positive thread.
Star Wars Night Club. Found this on the gallery and remodeled it. Great place for parties, having a drink with friends or just hanging out. Sometimes I have all the party goers dress in Star Wars garb.

This comment is a few weeks old, but I just wanted to add that the CAS can be used in a regular save as well, depending on your style. The tops in these outfits are form JtB.
Another addition because there is ongoing talk about male Sims not having enough CAS items (which is true): I also like some of the pieces for male Sims for regular outfits. The shorter pants for hot weather wear and the jacket is one of my favourite tops for cold weather wear for male Sims. Makes them look so handsome.

I have been trying to replace my old 1080 Ti for years.
3080 Ti(s) are finally available near me and I finally got one.
Still overpriced though, but I snapped it up anyway, who knows what might happen.
They might all get bought out again.

I've been playing around in Virtual Batuu lately, but keep forgetting to take screenshots. In 2 weeks, I'm going to be within walking distance of Batuu West, but alas! I cannot go to Disneyland because I'm going to be at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim at the convention center, and I only have a one-day ticket.
When this pack first came out I was so against it. I thought it was a dumb idea and I was annoyed about how overly commercialized the Star Wars franchise had become. I swore I would never buy it.. but then I did. I have come to love this pack. It's adorable, and it's a blast to play through with a nerdy sim. To me, this is a completely immersive theme park for my sims to vacation to and it's more entertaining then most vacation destinations because it has so many objectives you can get yourself involved in. It's a lot of fun.

Meanwhile inside the cargo hall my rebel sim and a scoundrel from the same household take turns trying to pick the lock at an equipment crate.

@CK213 if you want, could you show pics of Batuu related sims/world so we keep on topic with 1080 Ti card compared with new pics with 3080 Ti so I could see how much better the game looks. Thanks
