Try logging out of the site then logging back in again and see if that shows you as a full member

I want updated security settings on computers- lock them so sims can't use chat, or games, or whatever features you want. Also want assignable guest beds- similar to claiming/assigning beds to specific sims, but essentially setting a bed as default for any guest spending the night - this would make for better guest rooms/guest houses :)

I created an account for the old forums for The Sims 3 9 years ago, back when I was a little kid. There’s an old post I made which is too cringe-worthy for me, is there any way I could delete it? Also, considering I was a little 11 year old, I gave myself this username (lalalandgirlfriend??), is there anyway to change that too?

If you would like to change your forums username, you can post a request to change the name on the activities wall of either Ea_Mai or EA_Rtas
Try logging out of the site then logging back in again and see if that shows you as a full member
When you are a full member, you can edit your post and remove the words if you would like to.

Not really digging the system to post, seems like a lot of hoops to jump through to start a thread to get help with a problem a person is having. And posting about my problem in someone else's thread doesn't seem to nice or considerate. LOL. Guess all I can do now is play a game with myself to see what happens first. If I can actually figure out my problem myself or I get permission to ask. LOL. I do understand though about spam being an issue.

In order to be able to posts pictures and have an avatar, you first need to become a full member because as of right now you are considered a new member. New members are restricted from starting new threads, posting pictures and links, having an avatar or changing one, sending private messages to other members. In order to become a full member, you will need to have 25 points, 15 posts and an account older than 24 hours.

I would also suggest checking the title of thread as well as the location of the thread since we have older Sims games sharing this forum. An example would be if you're a TS4 player and have an issue with the game, please check to make sure that they thread that you have brought up isn't a TS2/TS3. For any New members who want to get their post/point count up, the best thing that I would advise you to do is to find threads that may interest you and join in on them or go to the Off Topic section and join in on some of the word/story games over there. The posts made over in the forum section will go towards your post count whereas the posts made on your wall and the Activity Feed doesn't go towards the total post count. The only thing that you will get if you should make any post over on your wall or Activity Feed will be any Insightfuls, Likes or Awesomes as they will go towards your total points count. Hopefully creating your posts on other threads will also increase your points...

I have some questions on finding custom content? I'm looking to see if anyone has any files from certain creators or certain outfits they'd be willing to send as the downloads aren't working for me rn. Where would I go to ask these questions? I'm a new member so I'm unable to make my own thead.

Specifically, I'm trying to track down certain clothing pieces that either are from or look like they're from jinglestartk (on tumblr and with their own blog) mostly fishnet sweaters and blouse styles.

You need to have had your account for at least a full 24 hours.
If you had it for over 24 hours, then try logging out of the site then logging back in again and see if that shows you as a full member
