Elian is going next level to b with Ivy, and she just doesn't appreciate π€
How many guys would go to the trouble of tracking u down in the forest?! That's love rt.
I think Ivy thinks her mother would still object if she got back together with Cirrus, but it seems like Clem has changed her parenting philosophy over the years, and at this point would care more about whether Sage is happy than about how "perfect" Ivy's life is.
But I am skeptical of how happy Ivy and Cirrus would actually be together long term. Not only is there a "needs to be in nature boy" vs. "pretty much a city girl" problem here, but from the beginning, Cirrus seemed too obsessive about Ivy and Ivy seemed like her main attraction to Cirrus was actually just wanting freedom to make her own decisions. It was a secret rebellion. I didn't feel like they had a real connection. So, they'd both need to grow a lot, and that isn't always easy, or even necessarily what both of them want. Sage is smart, but he's still a kid. Getting them back together may not be the happy ending he expects it to be.
As a story, this has the potential for some very interesting tension developing. So I like it!
Clem has definitely mellowed a lot over the years, and she may even have softened toward Fox... Of course, this isn't a subject Ivy would ever bring up with Clem on her own. And Clem absolutely cares more about Sage's happiness, she's come to understand that no kid's life is going to be perfect.
That's a good question about Ivy and Cirrus's potential happiness! Rebelling was a significant part of the appeal, but Ivy has always been pretty stressed out by "human" life and doesn't seem to have much attachment to her current career. She was sad her parents never said much about the fae realm and the idea of visiting another planet with her alien boyfriend was very appealing.
But they're older now, and they do have to get to know each other again and decide if it would work out. Sometimes feelings aren't enough.
Fox would say not to worry about the long-term, like he did when Sky, Rain, and Cirrus were just born at the end of last gen...but who knows what will make them the happiest! They'll just have to figure that out themselves~

I love this family. So much drama!
Glad you're enjoying the drama.
I agree. (Even though I wanted Sky to be eaten!)
My Disney Legacy!
So True! I hadn't thought of that before!
And he's managing to do it without even a twin to switch places with. Pretty resourceful kid!

I do agree somewhat with what @GlacierSnow said about the long term!
