I'm here or on youtube social media. But this is true even when I'm not going through a loading screen.
some times I even do just pause time, and get up and walk away from the game.
Rarely I multi-game Play something else on my PS4 and The Sims 4 PC at the same time, or on my phone
Initial loading - grab snacks!
Usual loading screens - usually I just look at them as they go fast on my PCs or use the chance if I need to get up for something (good time to check on my need bars as well!).
My computer runs the game pretty quickly, in other words, which I am very fortunate to say. I even installed TS3 basegame a week or so ago and, while on my older PC it took eight years and six months to load, it took less than ten seconds.
Or that. lol. I've never timed them, but I know it's only a few seconds.
With Sims 3, I used to start it up and go to the bathroom, get a drink, or troll the forums while it loaded.
Get myself a drink , or scratch my back or take off my shoes... Or sit and watch the loading screen as it doesn't really take all that long.
Sims 3 I would often do chores like fold laundry or load the dish washer.
Sims 4 I have a few seconds loading time so I do not have to wait long. Sims 3 the loading time varies however I do not do nothing. I am willing to put up with the loading screen on Sims 3, Once I am loaded I hardly get any more loading screens which is not true for Sims 4 which has multiple loading screens.

It doesn't take long to load but I minimize the screen with the Windows key usually while it does, check the News and my emails and probably have the TV on in the background........and load my Save when I'm ready.

You're post had me snickering, it was so delightful. I especially liked your description of how long Sim3 took to load on your old machine. Thanks for giving me a reason to laugh. I really needed it.
Read a bit of a book, watch something, etc...it takes a bit more time for me but also have tons of cc and all that, so it takes longer to load and render. Closing all windows on the internet browsers do make it much faster.

Lets make this a reality!
Same, or turn away and maybe look out the window.
