Prpobally broken record, but seasons. Seasons and weather do so much to add to a sims gaem. It add context and a feeling of time passing in the lives of sims. It can do alot for story telling. Yes, there is a lot of content I want (supernaturals like witches and fairies, university, vacation spots, farms,) but seasons feels so cruical to the game, I never understand why its not base. I am aware of the time it needs to be coded, but I'd rather have a lite bet od seasons, even if its a bit thin than none at all
I think there needs to be more creativity in packs.
Combine historical with supernatural, and have a fairytale pack instead.
Combine university and island, to make a more interesting uni location... Or world adventures and uni, why go to uni at home?
Seasons and farming, there's some strange logic there.
I think "activist" would offer a lot. Causes, events, recruiting, educating, raising funds. I mean, in a way I guess clubs is sort of like that, but a political or activist sim would be neat as its own expansion.
I use no mods or CC and I repair my game after every time I play.
I need seasons. It should really be in the base game. If it wasn't for the extreme time constraints of the making of TS4, I would of complained to EA every day till they added it in a patch. It's ridiculous to wait over 3 years for something as integral as weather and seasons.
Seasons of course, but would also love something more within the seasons pack, like farming, both as a profession and as a hobby.
I would love a celebrity pack as well.
I am so ready for Seasons! But I also really want a rural/farming pack.

I personally hope they combine Seasons with vacation aspects into the pack. Take for example, in the Summer our sims could take their Summer Vacation to the beach, and in the Winter our sims hit the slopes at a ski resort. So it would be an incredible pack to combine the two major gameplay aspects into one. We could receive a new world along with two additional vacation destinations the size of Granite Falls- one being an island with the other being a snow-capped mountain retreat.
I voted for world adventures, because I love to travel and there aren't enough options for that in the game (I mean, yes, they can go camping, but that's not the same as, say, going scuba diving in Australia or exploring a new city/town or staying out with a local you met while they show you places you wouldn't have seen otherwise).
I almost voted for University, though, or even just school in general.

Out of curiosity, why wouldn't the Politics career in CL count for that? I mean, I don't really have any Sims who've gotten to a very high level in that career yet, but I have played the first few levels of it and they're pretty similar to your description.
As for me, I wouldn't object to Seasons or University or Farming or more Supernatural Life States, but what I'd really like to see most in Sims 4 is a fame system. It kind of weirds me out that my Sim could become a famous politician or comedian and nobody reacts when they walk down the street. This is just pure speculation, but since we already have packs like Vampires or Cats & Dogs which focus mainly on one or two things but go really in-depth with them, I wouldn't mind seeing an in-depth fame system that keeps track of what each Sim is famous for. That way, other Sims would react differently to, say, a bestselling author than they would to an infamous crime lord. And it would be interesting if celebrity crushes could be a thing, although I'm not exactly sure how that would affect gameplay except that Sims would fangirl/fanboy over a celebrity crush even more than they would over a regular celebrity.
Speaking of crushes, I also think TS4 could also use a more in-depth romance system, perhaps with turn-ons and turn-offs similar to TS2: Nightlife, although I'm only saying that because I played a little bit of Nightlife back in the day, so it's the main point of reference I have to work from. I wouldn't mind if an in-depth romance system in TS4 wasn't exactly the same as Nightlife; it's a different game in the series, so it makes sense to me that the DLC would be different. Anyhoo, when I first started playing TS4 I had a hard time figuring out how to have my Sims sweet-talk another Sim, but it didn't take me long to figure out that wooing is really easy if the other Sim is feeling flirty and your Sim is having an Amorous (I think that's the right word) or Steamy Conversation with him/her. At this point, playing Noncommittal and/or Serial Romantic Sims is starting to turn into a cycle - meet potential new partner, say all the right things at the right times, go on a few dates, break up, rinse and repeat. It gets a bit monotonous.
But that's all just my own personal opinion.

Miss the snow days and falling leaves in the game. It brings depth to game play.
