When was the last time you had a nightmare that woke you up?

I celebrate Christmas with my family and we do sometimes dirty santa (dirty santa is where you get a $20 gift and then write on a little tag "To: someone From: Your name)
The day before Christmas I'll visit my paternal grandparents (it will be them, me and my sister, my half brothers, my aunts and dad and his partner), we'll have some Christmas food, give one another gifts, give my brothers a lot of attention probably, haha, they're five years old and hilarious. During Christmas I'll visit my maternal grandparents, this year many people are away so it will "only" (by our standards) be them, me, my sister, my half sister, ma and her husband and my cousin with her kids. We'll eat, drink wine, laugh, be the silly family we are, give one another gifts and continue to be silly.
Do you like buying gifts to people?
Add a dab of lavender to milk, leave town with an orange and pretend you're laughing at it.
i've really never done it before this year bc i have zero money but i had a little left over from work this summer and i enjoyed buying gifts!! i can't wait to see everyone's faces cuz i think they're good :~)
There are too many awesome to mention! One really cute thing was when my eight year old (or, she's nine now, but it was last Christmas) gave me a rococo-style figurine - how the heck did she know that I loved those!? Apparently she just thought "Marsi would love that" (which is my cutesy nickname she gave me when she couldn't pronounce my name) haha. I got so happy because it felt so personal and so sweet that she picked it for me. Actually, every time she sees something with a powdered wig (she looked at a wine bottle with Mozart, whom I love, but she didn't know who he was until I told her, when ma was buying wine for me and sis, and she said "Marsi should have that!") she thinks of me.
What's the oddest gift you ever received?

one time my dad gave me a stocking full of mini toothpaste, mints, deodorant... i was like is there something you're trying to tell me? but he's always been a prankster so that's what he was going for hahah
We have a buffet when I celebrate with my family, not a huge buffet, and I myself don't contribute much more than cooking some veggie stuff (when my sister doesn't take over the veggie-cooking completely, that is! We don't bring it, we cook it when we are at ma's house).
What will you eat for Christmas dinner this year (if you celebrate)?
