    I keep hearing creepy noises coming from outside. And this is creepy and I am not going to go to sleep until my sister, mom and brother in law come home.

      This is why I don't think I could ever live alone, despite that I really want to move out eventually. I'd be fine during the day, but way too scared at night.

      I'd probably have music playing around my house 24/7... just to avoid being in that type of situation lol.

      I used to sleep with my TV on and the volume very low. The familiar voices made me feel better.

      You see, to not be afraid you must fight the noises with other noises (music,TV,Etc). Pretty much fighting fire with fire.

      I lock the front door, and dance the way I feel.

      The last place I lived at, some one tried to break in while I was home alone. I told them to 🐸🐸🐸🐸 off.

      When I was a small child, someone broke into our home and assaulted my mother (in a way I can't mention on this forum). It's called threats and a weapon. Unfortunately, my mind has not forgotten that experience nor was it the only home of ours that was burglarized.

      Glad the burglar who tried to break into your house was a chicken, but most aren't and people are more likely to get hurt than not.

      Even if crime weren't a concern, everybody has fears.

      Everytime I'm home alone I'm probably playing the sims on my desktop, and every five minutes, I look around me, and there was a time I was in my backyard playing bball and I heard noises. It was a SQUIRREL!
