Ooooohhhhh i hope my original gifter buddy will be able to get their gift in for me! I really wanna see what they've made because this is my first gift exchange and i've enjoyed it so far!
Many years ago there were two very powerful families of Witches. The Olsons and the Tanners. They were neighbors and friends till one day a spell went horribly wrong.... although it was an accident, a feud was started that lasted for generations Each new generation became more powerful, more angry, and more vicious with their tricks against the other family.. Not caring who got hurt including family, friends, or bystanders hit by fire...Finally the witches council had had enough and they stripped both families and all future generations of their powers. The council felt safe and happy in their decision that The Olsons and Tanners could no longer hurt eachother or innocent bystanders.
So for many years and generations the families thrived without their powers. They became calmer, happier and better members of society, and while they didn't try to harm eachother any more they didn't like eachother either..That is until rocky Oldon and kitty Tanner met in school. It was love at first sight! They kept their romance a secret, knowing that their families wouldn't understand...They fell in love and under the stars after prom Rocky proposed Kitty of course said yes!!!! They married alone on the beach and with butterflies in their stomach approached their families and told them the WONDERFUL news!!!!!
The family was not happy for them, not in the slightest bit and Kitty was crushed...for she had a secret that even Rocky didn't know yet, and as she looked into her parents eyes and her in laws eyes she realized their feud would never be completely over even if the families were now joined as one; If she and Rocky were going to be happy, they needed to move away from the family and start fresh! So they did and born to them were two beautiful twins who came with an extra surprise...MAGIC POWERS!!!!! Had the elders forgiven them? Was the joining of their fsmiies the cure for their families legacy? Perhaps...especially since Kitty and Rocky felt their own powers for the very FIRST time in their lives!!!!

I know some of you are still waiting for gifts, be assured that they are on their way. Tanu is in contact with everyone & we are still in the gifting giving time frame. Everyone will get a gift so please just be patient. I know that is hard but some gifts take time to make & this time of year gets busy for all of us in real life too.
I thought I might share what is going on with me in real life. I have been wrapping gifts & putting them under the tree. The first few I did a few days ago & both Arwen & Bogart were good & left them alone. Well then I put more under the tree yesterday & Bogart would not leave the bows & ribbons alone. He kept chewing on them & removing the bows. So this is how our tree now looks, For some reason the few gifts in nutcracker paper on the table he is leaving alone, thankfully. The gifts under my tree are all wrapped in red, green or gold paper & it looks really nice but you will just have to take my word for it.
Tanu - While I haven't done anything with berry colored Sims before, I might be tempted to do so now! The pictures are great and show what a close-knit, loving family they are.
dulcisxevertox - This story was sad, lovely and well-written, but sad. I was hoping their plan would backfire... but "Oh, no! What is Catilla going to do now? She can't let them get away with that!" Yes, I actually spoke aloud while reading
SmilzPretty - I really, really like the way you presented the Parker family! GREAT job! Beautiful photos that give one a feel for the personality of each member and their relationship with one another.
MissElpheba - Gotta LOVE twins!! Brady and Harrison Reef are wonderfully made! LOVED reading about them and learning what makes them individuals instead of two peas in the same pod.
Alizatina - Kayden Alders is gorgeous!! She simply glows with good health and what appears to be a sunny disposition. Beautiful outfits using really lovely patterns.
ChristGirl201 - TWO townhouses on the lot! I see pretty colors and clever use of space to keep it functional and clutter-free. The short story was nice, too! I always made sure they had one special package that was theirs with sleigh bells and eye catching toys attached to the ribbon which was wrapped around and attached really well to their box heavily wrapped with paper for tearing. Only cat proof deco at the bottom 1-1 1/2 foot of the tree!! You did come up with a great way to detour them though. For a spell anyway!! :twisted:
I have to confess, when I went to make the werewolf couple... I got side-tracked. An idea for a couple to go with your lovely new wedding venue came immediately to mind and would not sit still and be quiet. I jotted down a few notes and then got to work. Hopefully you'll like the results...
