This is my just born in game sim to the family I am playing now not related to the Hulins and Gagnes. Problem is she is so pretty almost any hair style looks good, so I need help deciding which hair she looks best in. I will try to limit the choices to just 10 lol. I don't like the color of her hair so might change it to black or red or brownish. Just so you know I didn't change anything on her except the hair and putting on some makeup. Well, I've finally got some more for all of you. I hope you enjoy it because it's a long one. I tell you one thing though, I am boiling mad with Photobucket. It's not enough that they can never seem to actually finish uploading all my photos, they don't even bother keeping them in the order I put them in. I never had this happen until I updated to IE 11, but then I tried it on FireFox, and it does the same thing. So now, I don't know who I want to be madder at. But anyway, here's the pics.
Well, with Min Wei a young adult, there's one last thing she needs to do. Graduate. So, the family heads on down to city hall, and they wait around. Yes, there is a fairy in her swimsuit there too. Of course, Ning Shui is going to be even colder in his formal wear. He has torn jeans, and he's also barefoot in his formal wear. Where's the parent to say, "you're not going out dressed like that. You look like an idiot." Of course, I don't think Ning Shui cares.
Sun also pulls Min Wei aside to give her a graduation present. It's a camera they bought once while in Egypt. I can't imagine Sun being warm in that split-leg dress of hers. But Min Wei likes her present. I bet it probably made her say this.
The family all went their separate ways after that. Ning Shui went to be alone or to torment the city even more. Adam went home to straighten up, and Daniel and Aria decide to go skating. Makes kind of a cute picture, them skating.
Sun and Min Wei, on the other hand, skate on a little more riskier rink, a frozen pond. But they handle it well. At least Sun didn't want to turn it into a Sim Fu lesson.
And later, Daniel reads Aria to sleep. He picked a book on social networking. Yes, in case you're wondering, that is Adam's bed she ended up in. Needless to say, this is a little awkward for the kids, especially since Adam ended up in Min Wei's room in Aria's bed. If Min Wei were like her mother, she'd probably start yelling at him in Chinese for it.
And then it's Snowflake Day, which means they all head for the festival grounds, with the exception of Ning Shui and Adam. Ning Shui wants to pump himself up some more (he really wants to prove he's better than his mom, his brother, and everyone else) and Adam has something else in mind. Anyway, Aria decides to give herself a real chill while making a snow angel. I could just hear Sun when she sees this.
"Dāng nǐ qù hé dòngjié nǐ de jiǎozhǐle, bù lái yùnxíng wǒ." (When you go and freeze all your toes off, don't come running to me."
Daniel might put it to her this way. "Aria, if you freeze to death, you'll just have yourself to blame."
Daniel also decides to make his presence known at the winter festival, and he also decides to make something else known as well. How much he loves Sun. He climbs on his box and yells it out for all of them to hear.
After a little talking, Adam decides to make this outing a bit more interesting. He throws a snowball right in Ayana's face. They share a good laugh over it though, and the fight keeps on.
And the fight continues between Adam and Ayana. She nails him with one in the belly. She shouldn't aim too low though. He may just be the father of her children.
After getting pelted with snowballs, Adam and Ayana go inside to throw a different kind of ball. Adam didn't do well, but he sure celebrated like he did.
Well, as you could figure, Aria really chilled herself out. So much so that they rushed her home. They put her in a hot bath, and slowly but surely her color came back. Now, here's hoping the social worker doesn't butt in.
And how about another, but this time get it on film. If he was anything like his brother, he'd sent this as a message to Ning Shui's phone. But he's not nearly as competitive as Ning Shui. He's not even a jerk either.
And a hug later, a kiss good-bye, and the date ends. Ayana was really happen, and I bet Adam will be talking about his first date for a long time to come.
@Colorist: She's very pretty. You're right. She does look pretty in all of those hairstyles. But I think I like hair #4 and hair #9 the best.
@thesealofthesims: I hate PB as well. Not only do they put your pictures out of order, when you upload a picture on there, it decreases the quality. That's why I use flickr or imgur. It's a lot easier to work and keeps the quality of the pictures.
Congratulations on Min graduating. I'm also guessing that Aria has the Insane trait since she always seems to be in her bathing suit. What strikes me as funny is that there is some Custom Content swimsuits out there enabled for Outerwear. :? Just like it strikes me as funny that the game has a set of wedding dresses that can be used for Outerwear. Adam and Ayana look so cute together. Ayana looks really pretty and has such a cute name.
I am so far behind, don't judge me for only going back three pages! The weather here in Northern Ireland is crazy today! Gale force winds...I keep on checking that nothing has blown away!!!

How cool, Midnight hollow celebrate the summerfestival, with a day off for all workers and school children. Sims have poolparties. Andrew & Mira decide to throw a poolparty. But wait, not a single sim will come to a pool party, to a family without pool. So Andrew & Mira spent their last savings on a new swimmingpool. Now they are really broke. But please, don't let any other sims know that.
Okay as I said I am starting a free play less writing intensive story to work on in the spare time in between my main story chapters. As stated in the initial post this will be played normally without cheats or creating characters aside from the initial ones. The only changes I am allowed to make are ones the game legitimately allows (mirror, dresser, and traits when the game gives me the option).
Contrary to the initial idea I will still probably do some writing for things like dialogue but I am not planning for it to be to the same extent of my usual stories. While I won't be planning out the story I will role play the characters a bit though so I will make them do certain things outside of what their wants say and may write about npc's doing things they don't naturally do but I will keep that within the limit of what I feel they would actually do based on what happens and the characters traits.
Basically I will play legitimately but maintain the right to flesh things out a little here or there.
Following Colorist's suggestion I randomized the traits and the backstory is based off what I rolled.
Okay now that thats out of the way (sorry that ended up more long winded than I intended) here is the backstory and characters.
Backstory:
Life was hard for the Lawton family. Vernon and Heather Lawton struggled to provide for their daughter Juliet. Vernon brought in enough money for them to live off from his tattoo parlor but it was only enough to get by. Then when Heather got pregnant again and gave birth the the couples second child Sofia things got worse. Vernon worked hard but they had been barely getting by before and with Sofia thrown into the mix things just spiraled downhill.
Eventually unable to deal with the stress Heather divorced Vernon and left leaving him to raise Juliet and Sofia on his own. This would have been impossible if it weren't for Juliet. Despite only being 6 at the time Juliet stepped in to help her father by helping with taking care of Sofia and keeping an eye on her when their father had to work.
Life became okay again for a while, until there father was killed when a man attempted to rob his parlor.
After their father's death the now 18 year Juliet took over as guardian of her 12 year old sister. Shortly after graduating high school Juliet took what little money they had from selling the parlor to move her and her sister to Starlight Shores, both to get away from the sad memories and violence of the big city and in an attempt to help Sofia realize her dream of becoming a professional musician.
Sofia Lawton
Age: 12
Traits: charismatic, hopeless romantic, loves the outdoors, virtuoso
Sofia's life revolves around two things. Her relationship with her sister Juliet who has been looking after her for as long as she can remember and her music. Though generally well liked by the other kids and frequently admired by the guys around school Sofia prefers to spend most of her time playing her guitar (a birthday gift from Juliet back when they still lived in Bridgeport) or hanging out with Juliet. She also loves to hang around outside though she isn't overly athletic like Juliet. Her dream is to one day be able to make a living as a musician.
Many people try to judge Juliet by her appearance, many of them judge wrong. Beneath her relaxed clothing style and plethora of tattoos (She currently has 7 total) she is also extremely kind hearted and intelligent. The valedictorian of her high school class Juliet is gifted with a high natural intelligence. Many of her teachers expected her to go on to college and do great things but to Juliet college wasn't as important as taking care of her sister. When she isn't taking care of Sofia or working she enjoys running along the shore line and swimming.
Special characteristics:
Juliet sports 7 tattoos across her body all of which were done by her father before his death.
The flower on her right shoulder was her first shortly after followed by the matching flowers on her right forearm.
The pink dolphin on her stomach came next a symbol of her love of the beach and swimming.
The angel wings was her father's idea reflecting the pet name he had for her (angel) for everything she did to help raise her sister.
The music note on her left arm she got out of pride for Sofia's musical ability.
The symbol on her lower back she got cause she thought it looked cool.
The butterfly on her chest she got a few months before her fathers death on Sofia's 12th birthday. It is a matching tattoo (aside from color) to one Sofia got on her back which they got at the same time.
note since the game technically won't let teens have tattoos so Sofia's butterfly isn't visible in game at the moment. Once she eventually ages up I will add it and go on the idea she's had it the whole time.
The two girls also each wear matching pink and aqua bracelets (their respective favorite colors) which Juliet got after their fathers death to symbolize to Sofia that she would always be there for her no matter what.
@4u4ever: Very nice pictures. Sounds like your sims were having a lot of fun. I love that "Forever Alone" guy. That totally reminds me of me whenever I'm at a party. After trying to mingle with people and being ignored, I always end up just sitting on the couch or in a chair drinking sodas until it over. :roll: That wedding looks beautiful as well, so elegant. But that...child...that...thing at the end will forever haunt me in my sleep. So thanks for that.
@ForeverFranconia: Your little genie is super adorable. Tyson is one of those typical males, so easily distracted by this lovely lady's um...assets. Nothing's more invigorating than a conversation about spades. I didn't know you could have more than two sims play video games. Wow, Occuquan sure has a very bright room.

I've got some things about Lee.She is a bit of a slob and isn't planning on living long term in the city though she's living there for now.She's still failed to notice that her leftover salad has gone bad.
Time for an update since I've got the pictures.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both rushing to Garden House to get ready for the day's hard work at harvesting the produce from the garden to sell it to the grocery store.
Ami went to work in the garden while Eli thought she could go off to have a little adventure in the graveyard.
Eli ended up getting herself into a bit of a mess at the graveyard.
Eli ended up having to use a washroom and have a bath while Ami was still working in the garden.They both ended up stopping to have dinner and Ami went to the store later to sell the produce he harvested from the garden.
Eli tried to learn some skills while Ami went to the store,but she had to stop and get home before too long and get more built on the house before they went to bed.
The house got a new wall section put up and they were both ready to get to bed in their sleeping bags when Ami got back.
Also, bad news...I've been having a little trouble with the University world. Basically, the lag is horrible. It takes the sims ages to get anywhere and sometimes when I send them to class, they get reset back home. I have each of the sims saved to the library in the CAS, so I'm going to add the family to a new town, move everyone to various parts of the neighborhood and play with Cherry, her boyfriend, and Clover as the main household. I know a lot of you were looking forward to seeing them in University, but with the lag that's going on, it's just too hard for me. So, I apologize. But hey, the family isn't disappearing, they're just being relocated.
Just an update. College classes and stress for this week have let out early (Colorado winter sucks) and I can't really get much done from home so I am hoping to get a new chapter of Run up today, worst case it will be up this weekend.
Regarding Souls of the Suns I might get a chapter up this weekend as well but I'm not placing any bets.
As I said when I first mentioned it my free play story about Sofia and Juliet won't start until school finishes.
I am going to try to get to comments later today.
This coming week I am likely going to be mostly silent again, sorry to keep disappearing and for chapter releases being slow, but at least classes are almost over so after next week things should get a bit easier.

Hey, I used to post the other thread like this about a year or so ago, and I thought I'd try posting here again bc it looks like there's a lot of awesome stuff happening that I'd like to chime in on.
@Lozzomatic - I really like the legacy you're playing. It looks really cool and fascinating. I think it's hilarious George is doing so much partying at university just bc, from what I've seen of him as a teenager which isn't much, he just didn't strike me as much of a party animal at all.
Hopefully, he manages to overcome his inevitable hangovers to do well on his exams.
@Celiria - I think it's really cool that you write Sim stories bc I'm also writer and I love your Run story. I need to go back and read some of the previous chapters, but I'm really looking forward to your next update.
Also I think it's really cool that you named the character from Soul of the Suns Nyx. I was just wondering whether that was based off the creature from German mythology or the Greek Goddess? Just curious.
Sofia and Juliet are really pretty, btw. I feel sorry for them bc of what happened with their mom and dad. Hopefully, things will get better for them soon.

Up until your last update, I'd just been assuming that Eli and Ami were farmers who lived at the Garden House and were in the process of building a new house to move to. After getting pelted with snowballs, Adam and Ayana go inside to throw a different kind of ball. Adam didn't do well, but he sure celebrated like he did.

Well, as you could figure, Aria really chilled herself out. So much so that they rushed her home. They put her in a hot bath, and slowly but surely her color came back. Now, here's hoping the social worker doesn't butt in.

After bowling, Adam gets down to business. He starts complementing Ayana's looks. That should impress her, although she is easy to impress.

Adam figures that it's the right time, so decides to move in for the kiss. She liked it too. They are now official interested.

And how about another, but this time get it on film. If he was anything like his brother, he'd sent this as a message to Ning Shui's phone. But he's not nearly as competitive as Ning Shui. He's not even a jerk either.

@thesealofthesims: I hate PB as well. Not only do they put your pictures out of order, when you upload a picture on there, it decreases the quality. That's why I use flickr or imgur. It's a lot easier to work and keeps the quality of the pictures.

My simself and VJ went to college, and he obviously had a good time. I like how the guy in the background looks so forever alone
The party didn't end that well though since his girlfriend's bottom caught on fire
Anyway, they graduated quite well and moved back to Bridgeport, and finally went on their first date

Time for update that I already uploaded.
Michelle felt that she wanted to move into a better home that fits w/ her style.
She have moved to this house. (The outer appearance of the house has changed since that picture.)
Sims doesn't know when to go home to sleep on their bed instead napping on a public benches.
Time for Michelle to get use to living in her home & uses her laptop to work from home.

I might be releasing new houses tomorrow or later tonight.
Contrary to the initial idea I will still probably do some writing for things like dialogue but I am not planning for it to be to the same extent of my usual stories. While I won't be planning out the story I will role play the characters a bit though so I will make them do certain things outside of what their wants say and may write about npc's doing things they don't naturally do but I will keep that within the limit of what I feel they would actually do based on what happens and the characters traits.
Basically I will play legitimately but maintain the right to flesh things out a little here or there.
Following Colorist's suggestion I randomized the traits and the backstory is based off what I rolled.
Okay now that thats out of the way (sorry that ended up more long winded than I intended) here is the backstory and characters.
Backstory:
Life was hard for the Lawton family. Vernon and Heather Lawton struggled to provide for their daughter Juliet. Vernon brought in enough money for them to live off from his tattoo parlor but it was only enough to get by. Then when Heather got pregnant again and gave birth the the couples second child Sofia things got worse. Vernon worked hard but they had been barely getting by before and with Sofia thrown into the mix things just spiraled downhill.
Eventually unable to deal with the stress Heather divorced Vernon and left leaving him to raise Juliet and Sofia on his own. This would have been impossible if it weren't for Juliet. Despite only being 6 at the time Juliet stepped in to help her father by helping with taking care of Sofia and keeping an eye on her when their father had to work.
Life became okay again for a while, until there father was killed when a man attempted to rob his parlor.
After their father's death the now 18 year Juliet took over as guardian of her 12 year old sister. Shortly after graduating high school Juliet took what little money they had from selling the parlor to move her and her sister to Starlight Shores, both to get away from the sad memories and violence of the big city and in an attempt to help Sofia realize her dream of becoming a professional musician.
Sofia Lawton
Age: 12
Traits: charismatic, hopeless romantic, loves the outdoors, virtuoso
Sofia's life revolves around two things. Her relationship with her sister Juliet who has been looking after her for as long as she can remember and her music. Though generally well liked by the other kids and frequently admired by the guys around school Sofia prefers to spend most of her time playing her guitar (a birthday gift from Juliet back when they still lived in Bridgeport) or hanging out with Juliet. She also loves to hang around outside though she isn't overly athletic like Juliet. Her dream is to one day be able to make a living as a musician.
Juliet Lawton
Age: 18
Traits: genius, good, neat, rebellious, athletic
Many people try to judge Juliet by her appearance, many of them judge wrong. Beneath her relaxed clothing style and plethora of tattoos (She currently has 7 total) she is also extremely kind hearted and intelligent. The valedictorian of her high school class Juliet is gifted with a high natural intelligence. Many of her teachers expected her to go on to college and do great things but to Juliet college wasn't as important as taking care of her sister. When she isn't taking care of Sofia or working she enjoys running along the shore line and swimming.
Special characteristics:
Juliet sports 7 tattoos across her body all of which were done by her father before his death.
The flower on her right shoulder was her first shortly after followed by the matching flowers on her right forearm.
The pink dolphin on her stomach came next a symbol of her love of the beach and swimming.
The angel wings was her father's idea reflecting the pet name he had for her (angel) for everything she did to help raise her sister.
The music note on her left arm she got out of pride for Sofia's musical ability.
The symbol on her lower back she got cause she thought it looked cool.
The butterfly on her chest she got a few months before her fathers death on Sofia's 12th birthday. It is a matching tattoo (aside from color) to one Sofia got on her back which they got at the same time.
note since the game technically won't let teens have tattoos so Sofia's butterfly isn't visible in game at the moment. Once she eventually ages up I will add it and go on the idea she's had it the whole time.
The two girls also each wear matching pink and aqua bracelets (their respective favorite colors) which Juliet got after their fathers death to symbolize to Sofia that she would always be there for her no matter what.

I've got some things about Lee.She is a bit of a slob and isn't planning on living long term in the city though she's living there for now.She's still failed to notice that her leftover salad has gone bad.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both rushing to Garden House to get ready for the day's hard work at harvesting the produce from the garden to sell it to the grocery store.
Ami went to work in the garden while Eli thought she could go off to have a little adventure in the graveyard.
Eli ended up getting herself into a bit of a mess at the graveyard.
Eli ended up having to use a washroom and have a bath while Ami was still working in the garden.They both ended up stopping to have dinner and Ami went to the store later to sell the produce he harvested from the garden.
Eli tried to learn some skills while Ami went to the store,but she had to stop and get home before too long and get more built on the house before they went to bed.
The house got a new wall section put up and they were both ready to get to bed in their sleeping bags when Ami got back.

Also, bad news...I've been having a little trouble with the University world. Basically, the lag is horrible. It takes the sims ages to get anywhere and sometimes when I send them to class, they get reset back home. I have each of the sims saved to the library in the CAS, so I'm going to add the family to a new town, move everyone to various parts of the neighborhood and play with Cherry, her boyfriend, and Clover as the main household. I know a lot of you were looking forward to seeing them in University, but with the lag that's going on, it's just too hard for me. So, I apologize. But hey, the family isn't disappearing, they're just being relocated.
Regarding Souls of the Suns I might get a chapter up this weekend as well but I'm not placing any bets.
As I said when I first mentioned it my free play story about Sofia and Juliet won't start until school finishes.
I am going to try to get to comments later today.
This coming week I am likely going to be mostly silent again, sorry to keep disappearing and for chapter releases being slow, but at least classes are almost over so after next week things should get a bit easier.

@Lozzomatic - I really like the legacy you're playing. It looks really cool and fascinating. I think it's hilarious George is doing so much partying at university just bc, from what I've seen of him as a teenager which isn't much, he just didn't strike me as much of a party animal at all.
Hopefully, he manages to overcome his inevitable hangovers to do well on his exams.
