The eyes are actually because of you. Cherry's eyes were the inspiration behind them

It definitely suits her. There are some hairstyles that only look good on certain sims, but once you find that particular sim, it makes the hair even more special and makes you glad you decided to buy it.

I have to agree. In my opinion Nyx is by far the best looking sim I have ever created. When I finished making her I was very proud
Esmerelda's look is actually one I had in my bin. Fun fact it was the initial look I came up with for Alyssa from my Orphan Opposites story. But later on I reworked her look and liked the black hair look better so the character look just sat in the bin. Then when I was planning this story I saw it and thought it would work well for Esmerelda.
And the more I write that name the more I wish I'd given her a shorter one :P

From my "Clear As Crystal" Legacy. Legacy started with "colorless" patriarch and matriarch having stark white eyes, hair, skin. Curious what family would look like in 10 generations by following Pinstar guidelines but with no scoring.
Drama: 1st gen heir was born with black hair and eyes! Married his IMF who turned out to have dark brown skin when made real. He rolls a wish for a child. They start a family and then the heir gets abducted! Heir gave birth to alien hybrid two days before wife gave birth to child with Reaper colored skin! Don't know hair/eye color's yet, but it's just 1st gen and the patriarch genes seem to have disappeared already !!!

I thought about Esme and Esma but they just sound weird to me. The only shortened version that sounded okay was Es (pronounced Ezz) but that sounds more like a pet name rather than something everyone would call her. I think I'm just stuck with it :P
Andrew & Mira became parents to a babygirl named Julia, while I played today. While I think about, how I want their story to develope, I played around with create a baby in CAS.
I know I said I would have the second chapter for "Souls of the Suns" up today but writing is going slower than I expected. I am going to get it uploaded but it likely will not be today. Sorry for the delay.

Here's today's update on my game activities.I wasn't able to get into my game because I'm still not over the flu and I woke up felling tired.I did find some things in my game to share.

Ok, update time. It's not as substantial as I would have liked, but my number of pics was getting high. So, I figured it's time to share. Hope you enjoy.
Well, Min Wei comes to find that having a sister share your room is a bit tricky sometimes, like when you want to paint, but your sister wants to sleep. At least Min Wei decided not to listen to music. Still, it's tough to share.
With it being a weekend and all, there's no school. Now, Daniel decides the best way to help Min Wei not be so shy is to take her out among people. So, he takes her to the park, sets up his drum and her portable piano, and they just jam. Gotta wonder one thing. Aren't they cold?
Sun also decides to take Aria to her first movie, I'm A Carrot. That kid has to be as warm-blooded as her mother. She's out in ankle-deep snow in her flip-flops, which is basically the same as Sun being in the same amount of snow with no shoes at all.
At home, Adam can't get one thing out of his mind. Ayana Yuki. So, since they just met, he calls her up and asks if she'd like to just hang out. It's not a date, but it's a start. At least he didn't have to make a bet to ask her out (Some of you know what I mean)
They stand around and chat some more, before the conversation turns to computers. That should be up both their alleys. They're computer whizes too. It's as if they were tailor made for each other.
Then Adam asks what she does for a living. Turns out she works with Bruce Barkley designing video games. At least it didn't turn to gossip about Adam's brother and Bruce's daughter.
Daniel also decides to give Aria her birthday present. It's actually a nice one. It's his old bass set. Now, who's going to get his drums? And look at that kid jump.
It's the seinor prom at school, but Min Wei doesn't feel much like going. Instead, she heads off to some lonely point on the beach and throws pebbles. Poor kid, it's as if she's always alone. But perhaps fate will lend a hand.
Maybe it was just to say she took a chance at something, but Min Wei decides to change into her swimsuit and jump in. I'm sure that was very exhilarating, near freezing temperatures and a cold plunge.
Sun, meanwhile, has been training hard, and her work pays off as she obtains a brown belt. She might have even taken her brother out of his ranked spot, if she still could (RIP Ho Sung Kim).
Ning Shui's been working hard at the gym, building up his muscles in strength training. He figures he's now strong enough to take on his teacher. So, he challenges Sun to a sparring match. If you think he's in for a rude awakening, you'd be right. Sun got him 2-0. It seems Ning Shui is forgetting one big thing about the martial arts. Strength isn't everything. If he spent half as much time training as he did at the gym, he might take her.
After a tour of the theater and a quick dinner at the bistro, Adam says good-bye to Ayana. But I bet he's thinking good things about their little outing. Could romance be in the air?
After getting home and warmed up, Min Wei decides to read up on a new recipe, Fish and Chips. She then tries to give it a go. Seems she's not quite a cook yet. Poor kid.
And after his loss against his mom, Ning Shui decides he'll make Min Wei his next victim. He moves her bed out of the way and starts spraying her wall.
Well, Min Wei doesn't really like it, and who can blame her. So, she decides to tell Ning Shui off. She, of course, won't resort to yelling, but she does accuse him of acting improperly. After all, she wants to be proper about it, even if she is chewing him out.
Ning Shui, however, shows no restraint. He yells right back at her. And Aria is sleeping right through it. Guess Sun never taught him how to treat a lady. Then again, he'd probably argue that Min Wei isn't a lady, since she's his sister.
Then the gloves come off. Min Wei takes out a glove and slaps Ning Shui with it. Maybe they plan to duel, tomorrow at dawn behind city hall. Nah, Min Wei still has school. At least she's being proper about it.
Then the fight continues until neither one can argue anymore. Min Wei also had to move her bed back. The fists didn't start flying though, although she wanted to give him what for.
The next day, still reeling over his loss to his mom and having declared Min Wei his nemesis, Ning Shui heads out to city hall to rant against sunshine and happiness. I guess he figures if he's in a bad mood, everyone will be in a bad mood.
He also decides to leave another mark on the gym, but this time, he's gonna pay. He gets busted and fined 1,000 simoleons. He always sets out a tip jar, well here's a tip. Get commissioned. Here's another one - grow up.
I've not been simming since 6 days ago when I got other priorities and might continue for a while. But I do hope you guys did had your pleasant thanksgiving if you do celebrated.
I'll get to do replies & post bit of update pics that I didn't post yet later.

@thesealofthesims: Having sims share rooms is hard, especially if you have a computer or a radio in there. My sims love going into another sim's room while they're sleeping, turning on the radio, and then leaving...even though there is already a radio in the living room. :? Ning sure needs some lessons in how to treat a lady. I've also never seen that action with the slapping another sim with a glove. Does it come with a specific trait?

It's my birthday tomorrow, I'll be 27 (By heck are the years flying by!). I asked my parents for a few games and some chocolate, as I'm not that sure what I want really. I already have a very good PC with plenty of space for games, a MacBook and very recently a Kindle Fire. I also have a I-Pad, so I pretty much have all I need. I'm pretty easily pleased, so I don't particularly mind.

George cleans the house in preparation for the kegger party.
Pretty soon his first few guests arrive with a Lobster Thermador. George you lucky fella! The Arab Vampire is a party crasher, but if he has food, I'll look past it!
The party is in full swing in no time, and George gains some Nerd cred, to level 2.
He and the Arab Vampire spend some time hanging out, and George gets to level 4 in Jock.
Chatting about chicken with another vampire.
George and Leonard Sheldon spend some time chatting.
All those keg stands soon gets to George, and he passes out.
That poor toilet. It didn't stand a chance!
The next day, George works a bit more on his charisma. He's actually about level 4 here, not 5 like I said last time.
"Uuuggh! What a night! I need some hair of the dog!"

Class again!
George's rebel thing slipped down to level 1, so I had him introduce himself to a fellow rebel. Who hated it! I don't care, he got back to level 2 for this!
He makes friends with Penelope, who invites him to her party that night.
George tucks into a nice bit of Lobster before getting to the party.
However, Penelope doesn't even appear at her own party, so I have him study some more.
The next day, it's practical time!
Hmm, what time is it? Oh..
PARTY TIME! He got a dare to throw a bonfire party.
@Lozzomatic: I may dye Acanthus's hair when he becomes a teen. I want to keep the blonde because I like it against the dark skin, but I'll probably darken it just a little bit.
Very nice update! That's one thing I love about University is all of the parties and the social groups. George looks like he's fitting in quite nicely.
Happy birthday! Now I really want to get you something. Is there anything from the Sims 3 store that you might want? I didn't see anything from your wish list.
I remember my 26th birthday, which happened a few months ago. My mom paid for me to get my hair layered. She also bought a new outfit for me at the mall, paid for me to get my nails and toes done, bought me a bunch of make-up. That evening, I let her and my sister fix my hair and do my make-up and we went to this really nice club that our friend owned and stayed out until probably 5:00 in the morning. It was the best time I've ever had!
LunBeauty: My birthday is tomorrow, December 1st, but as for Wish list ideas. I'll have to have a little browse through. I did come across a cute little child's hat that that's about 50 Sim points. I don't want to ask for too much really but, that hat is pretty cute, and I don't quite have the sim points for it. Thank you! I love the university playthrough too. I'm aiming to put all the heirs through Uni not only for the skills and degree, but also to get them a partner and a tonne of parties!

Sadly I didn't realise that you had to keep the bonfire going, so I had to abandon the dare. He still gained jock points for it, and managed to get about 3 more best friends!
After class George goes to the Rebel hangout to study some more.
He tags the walls with Pro-Revolution graffiti.
I have him 'test out' the megaphone from getting to level 2 in rebel.
He's at about level 5 in charisma, and decides to report on the sudden zombie attacks on campus.

George wakes up for his lecture. He narrowly avoids being attacked by the Jock Zombies.
It was so dull even the lecturer didn't show up!

Nothing has been going on with my game lately. I uninstalled the game about 2 months ago and haven't bothered to play it or reinstall it since then. I am thinking of just installing the base game though, since I do miss playing it.

thesealofthesims That's a great update on your family and I've always played with EA's SP turned off except when I first got the game and wanted to know what it did and I found out,but a patch came and broke the control for turning it off.I'll admit EA's SP can be game-breaking if you're trying to play a certain way with the whole town like I usually do and it starts ruining your game story with it's dumb ideas.I found the new way to get this disaster turned off so it can't ruin my games.

Here's today's update on my game activities.I wasn't able to get into my game because I'm still not over the flu and I woke up felling tired.I did find some things in my game to share.

Well, Min Wei comes to find that having a sister share your room is a bit tricky sometimes, like when you want to paint, but your sister wants to sleep. At least Min Wei decided not to listen to music. Still, it's tough to share.

With it being a weekend and all, there's no school. Now, Daniel decides the best way to help Min Wei not be so shy is to take her out among people. So, he takes her to the park, sets up his drum and her portable piano, and they just jam. Gotta wonder one thing. Aren't they cold?

Sun also decides to take Aria to her first movie, I'm A Carrot. That kid has to be as warm-blooded as her mother. She's out in ankle-deep snow in her flip-flops, which is basically the same as Sun being in the same amount of snow with no shoes at all.

At home, Adam can't get one thing out of his mind. Ayana Yuki. So, since they just met, he calls her up and asks if she'd like to just hang out. It's not a date, but it's a start. At least he didn't have to make a bet to ask her out (Some of you know what I mean)

So, they agree to meet at the park. Here they are just getting to know each other.

Lo and behold, they find they have something in common. Maybe this will be easier than Adam thinks. They're both easily impressed.

They stand around and chat some more, before the conversation turns to computers. That should be up both their alleys. They're computer whizes too. It's as if they were tailor made for each other.

Then Adam asks what she does for a living. Turns out she works with Bruce Barkley designing video games. At least it didn't turn to gossip about Adam's brother and Bruce's daughter.

Daniel also decides to give Aria her birthday present. It's actually a nice one. It's his old bass set. Now, who's going to get his drums? And look at that kid jump.

It's the seinor prom at school, but Min Wei doesn't feel much like going. Instead, she heads off to some lonely point on the beach and throws pebbles. Poor kid, it's as if she's always alone. But perhaps fate will lend a hand.

Maybe it was just to say she took a chance at something, but Min Wei decides to change into her swimsuit and jump in. I'm sure that was very exhilarating, near freezing temperatures and a cold plunge.

Sun, meanwhile, has been training hard, and her work pays off as she obtains a brown belt. She might have even taken her brother out of his ranked spot, if she still could (RIP Ho Sung Kim).

Ning Shui's been working hard at the gym, building up his muscles in strength training. He figures he's now strong enough to take on his teacher. So, he challenges Sun to a sparring match. If you think he's in for a rude awakening, you'd be right. Sun got him 2-0. It seems Ning Shui is forgetting one big thing about the martial arts. Strength isn't everything. If he spent half as much time training as he did at the gym, he might take her.

After a tour of the theater and a quick dinner at the bistro, Adam says good-bye to Ayana. But I bet he's thinking good things about their little outing. Could romance be in the air?

After getting home and warmed up, Min Wei decides to read up on a new recipe, Fish and Chips. She then tries to give it a go. Seems she's not quite a cook yet. Poor kid.

And after his loss against his mom, Ning Shui decides he'll make Min Wei his next victim. He moves her bed out of the way and starts spraying her wall.

Well, Min Wei doesn't really like it, and who can blame her. So, she decides to tell Ning Shui off. She, of course, won't resort to yelling, but she does accuse him of acting improperly. After all, she wants to be proper about it, even if she is chewing him out.

Ning Shui, however, shows no restraint. He yells right back at her. And Aria is sleeping right through it. Guess Sun never taught him how to treat a lady. Then again, he'd probably argue that Min Wei isn't a lady, since she's his sister.

He then mocks Min Wei's appearance. Boy, this kid really grew up, didn't he?

Min Wei then points out one of her brother's flaws. He acts like a pig. How can Aria sleep through this?

Then the gloves come off. Min Wei takes out a glove and slaps Ning Shui with it. Maybe they plan to duel, tomorrow at dawn behind city hall. Nah, Min Wei still has school. At least she's being proper about it.

Then the fight continues until neither one can argue anymore. Min Wei also had to move her bed back. The fists didn't start flying though, although she wanted to give him what for.

The next day, still reeling over his loss to his mom and having declared Min Wei his nemesis, Ning Shui heads out to city hall to rant against sunshine and happiness. I guess he figures if he's in a bad mood, everyone will be in a bad mood.

Then, he heads back to build up his muscles some more. He's determined to win against Sun next time.

Sun is also still training, and look at that, Xiao Jing brought her the paper all the way from the front step. Such a good dog.

Ning Shui also decides he'll train someone at the gym. That's nerve isn't it? Coming up to a complete stranger and yelling like you own the place.

He also decides to leave another mark on the gym, but this time, he's gonna pay. He gets busted and fined 1,000 simoleons. He always sets out a tip jar, well here's a tip. Get commissioned. Here's another one - grow up.

And lastly, we see Aria home from school, homework finished, and just acting like a kid. Ah to be young again.

And that's that. Like I said, it wasn't anything substantial, but hopefully, we'll see the twins off to college soon.

@Simmelina1: I like those sims. They're so unique and beautiful.
@thesealofthesims: Having sims share rooms is hard, especially if you have a computer or a radio in there. My sims love going into another sim's room while they're sleeping, turning on the radio, and then leaving...even though there is already a radio in the living room. :? Ning sure needs some lessons in how to treat a lady. I've also never seen that action with the slapping another sim with a glove. Does it come with a specific trait?

It's my birthday tomorrow, I'll be 27 (By heck are the years flying by!). I asked my parents for a few games and some chocolate, as I'm not that sure what I want really. I already have a very good PC with plenty of space for games, a MacBook and very recently a Kindle Fire. I also have a I-Pad, so I pretty much have all I need. I'm pretty easily pleased, so I don't particularly mind.

George cleans the house in preparation for the kegger party.
Pretty soon his first few guests arrive with a Lobster Thermador. George you lucky fella! The Arab Vampire is a party crasher, but if he has food, I'll look past it!
The party is in full swing in no time, and George gains some Nerd cred, to level 2.
He and the Arab Vampire spend some time hanging out, and George gets to level 4 in Jock.
Chatting about chicken with another vampire.
George and Leonard Sheldon spend some time chatting.
All those keg stands soon gets to George, and he passes out.
That poor toilet. It didn't stand a chance!
The next day, George works a bit more on his charisma. He's actually about level 4 here, not 5 like I said last time.
"Uuuggh! What a night! I need some hair of the dog!"

Class again!
George's rebel thing slipped down to level 1, so I had him introduce himself to a fellow rebel. Who hated it! I don't care, he got back to level 2 for this!
He makes friends with Penelope, who invites him to her party that night.
George tucks into a nice bit of Lobster before getting to the party.
However, Penelope doesn't even appear at her own party, so I have him study some more.
The next day, it's practical time!
Hmm, what time is it? Oh..
PARTY TIME! He got a dare to throw a bonfire party.
Very nice update! That's one thing I love about University is all of the parties and the social groups. George looks like he's fitting in quite nicely.
Happy birthday! Now I really want to get you something. Is there anything from the Sims 3 store that you might want? I didn't see anything from your wish list.
I remember my 26th birthday, which happened a few months ago. My mom paid for me to get my hair layered. She also bought a new outfit for me at the mall, paid for me to get my nails and toes done, bought me a bunch of make-up. That evening, I let her and my sister fix my hair and do my make-up and we went to this really nice club that our friend owned and stayed out until probably 5:00 in the morning. It was the best time I've ever had!

Speaking of parties...
The mascot arrives, and almost immediatley leaves claiming it a good party.
George however gets the party going by doing some keg stands with his friends.
Gaining more Jock points.
Sadly I didn't realise that you had to keep the bonfire going, so I had to abandon the dare. He still gained jock points for it, and managed to get about 3 more best friends!
After class George goes to the Rebel hangout to study some more.
He tags the walls with Pro-Revolution graffiti.
I have him 'test out' the megaphone from getting to level 2 in rebel.
He's at about level 5 in charisma, and decides to report on the sudden zombie attacks on campus.

Oh, no! Jock Zombies! All they talk about it brains and football!
George wakes up for his lecture. He narrowly avoids being attacked by the Jock Zombies.
It was so dull even the lecturer didn't show up!
George got a want to use his megaphone again, so I did. He's ranting about Politics.
Penelope invites him to a party that she does show up to, and once again he's getting wasted!
See the guy on the right? He's George's nemisis. George got a want to mess with him.
I love this interaction! George's face cracks me up!
Nemesis: "So there I was, trying to calm down this werewolf, when..."
*PARP!*
Nemesis: "AAAAAAGH!"
Still funny!
George does another few keg stands, getting to level 5 or so in the Jock social group.
The next morning..
"Well, it's official! Winter is right around the corner, and Summer is gone!"
George heads to exams.
He manages to get a B grade!
George goes for a well earned key lime pie.
Once again, he's at a party about a few hours later. He soon gains level 6 in Jock by chatting with this blonde girl.

@Lozzomatic: That would do it for a nemesis. Yeah, it's hard to believe, but I guess they've got warmer blood than that. Adam really likes the cold, so he should have been out there. They sure are. I think it is great that Adam is getting a love interest.

thesealofthesims That's a great update on your family and I've always played with EA's SP turned off except when I first got the game and wanted to know what it did and I found out,but a patch came and broke the control for turning it off.I'll admit EA's SP can be game-breaking if you're trying to play a certain way with the whole town like I usually do and it starts ruining your game story with it's dumb ideas.I found the new way to get this disaster turned off so it can't ruin my games.
