An Error occured with the "make me a deal"

Today I got about 800 Simpoints deducted from a order I placed that was no more than 150 points.
First I got several error pop-ups. and after a few tries my order came through but then I found out that every time I tried to place that order somehow points were subtrackted from my account.
I've made a bug report, but I also would like to get my points back.
Do I have to make a diffrent ticket for that? Or an easier way perhaps?

Problems with extra charges on the store site can only be resolved through EA customer support. And yes, it's best to open a separate case. You might need to try a couple of times, as some reps are less helpful than others. But you should absolutely be able to get your points back.

A few weeks ago, @thatsnotsweg was able to fix a double charge using the "report payment error" category. (Just don't ask for a refund—reps tend to think you want the money back that you spent on the points, which they can't do.) Here's the thread, if you haven't already seen it:

I have the same issue for near the same amount of points, I can't remember the exact deal but ended up losing 4k of points for buying the last offer, it charged 4 times with the dupe offers in my purchase history and also reset MMAO counter to 24hrs :(( Support wasn't very helpful, they asked for an order number.. the store does not provide those. Even worse I only brought the last offer to make more offers for the day! the offer was bad.

Online Chat advisor fixed it with a refund on the 3 dupe orders after finding the number on the EA main site, even gave me discount. This might help^
