Canada also uses the non-US date format. But it gets confusing at times because we interact so much with people from the US. I started using the actual month/day format instead of just numbers because if you don't have digits greater than 13 it's hard to know the date.
Fascinating I always learn something on this forum while eagerly awaiting pack releases with you guys I do wonder though why the US has to measure everything so oddly (distance, weight, dates) but maybe I'm just culturally incapable of grasping the concept of "3/4 cups".
Not much. Just a few questions answered. I'm ready for some gameplay.
Oh so much for the gift box thing. At least we are one day closer.
The gift box is 6/7 which would be tomorrow.
In most of the world, 6/7 would be the 6th of July.
Yes well that's how it is in Australia too, and it's the 8 June here. Looking forward to something later on today.
Oh really, Australia doesn't use the weird date format the US uses? And here I thought maybe it was an English-speaking thing because they might be using "June 7th" more often than "the 7th of June" or something like that. But I was wrong xD I've always found it a very confusing way of writing dates.
ETA: I hate phone typing!
Oh me too-phone typing.
That's right. I have no idea about why it's different in some places and not others, interesting though. So here it's the 8 June or 8/06/2018.
Writing that out was a Good reminder that it's my dads birthday soon!
Don't we still have an hour to go? It's 12 pm on the east coast.
They tend to come out sometime in the next hour so I’m hoping sooner rather then later but I have to make a toddler lunch so I’m betting it’ll come out then
@SimTrippy We have great patience as long as we get it when we want it
I’ve got a toddler of the RL variety to feed and get ready to take and get her big brother to the park. My nanny goal for today is to get them both to take a nap before the cleaners come. That should kill off a hour or so of waiting lol
Oh god what a bummer. Well I guess I'll go off doing some more pre-patch gardening in that case. Exercise those patience skills a little bit
Is that rl gardening or sim gardening?
I'm cooking our dinner so busy for the next 45 mins... will be ready for a patch just in time!
No it's in game gardening Real life gardening will happen too though once we've finally moved to our new house!!! And actually, considering how far away that moment still seems to be & how ridiculously excited I am about moving there, the wait for Seasons is a lot more bearable. And to ease the next long wait, I'll be playing Seasons in a semi-accurate copy of our future house, where I'll finally get to have a beautiful RL garden of my own (or the remnants of it, should I fail at gardening as well as the current owners do)

Out of all the previous EPs the only one I cannot sim without is GT. The others didn't offer me much for my game.

or instead of the whole year just the last two digits. Also not to derail the thread sorry I'm just curious.
All the sims err'day
@cherpar glad this conversation helped you remember : Happy dad-birthday ^^
@SimTrippy we live to confuse
Oh only half an hour to go! I didn't even realize what time it was! Ready to be surprised.
@elanorbreton oh, I hope nothing too bad happened today
I'm glad we're both not doing it then, I applaud our patience
@simgirl1010 I forgot when patches usually come out. Is it at 10 am CA time?
