OH no...as I still haven't been playing the sims, I have no idea what's happening in that picture but it does not look good! Oh my gosh! haha that panic...no one is pregnant right? Oh I thought it was about to turn bad but then he proposed! So sweet!!! I love it. Awww I'm so excited they graduated! There house is adorable! I love you get degrees to hang on the wall! I love how it's decorated so far and I love that they threw a house party. Hehehe surprise parents! They should love both of them!!!
@Kiwicantdie I do the same thing! I can't tell you how many cakes I have had my sims almost immediately toss! The picture of Clara on the floor with her big brother Rory watching over her is adorable. (I'm glad your a Doctor Who fan too not sure why it matters but it makes me happy!) Awww Irene...she always makes me feel just a little sad! I love the kids' rooms. I just spent about 5 minutes scrolling up and down to look at them. Emilia's room is very interesting. That's so odd that your kids are going to school in their pajamas. Congrats though on all the aspiration completions! I love the acting gigs so much and I am so happy they finally didn't dye her hair! Selene is such a good celebrity Aww Ridge and Aurora were so sweet. I love them. Awwww! Look how smooth Rory is being with Violet! Oh yikes...the look on Jody's face does not match the yummy goody she has in her hand! Oh no kids fighting! So funny! Oh the birthday party...It was sweet to see Mathias giving his girl one last push before she became a teen AND SHE'S SO PRETTY! Wow! 3 star celebrity already? Amazing! Clara aged up so cute! @OJenn Now that you mention it, it does have a GoT vibe! We're big GoT fans too Virginia was ALWAYS sick when they were at uni (so relatable though, I was too) Thank you! I'm going to use real houses and floor plans for inspiration during this challenge, so hopefully ya'll will start to see improvement in my building skills!

I'm so thankful for this challenge as well - it has provided years of entertainment & friendship AND kept my love of Sims alive, and for that, I'm eternally grateful I don't remember if we could paint the ceiling in ts3, but to be fair I didn't play it as much and building was waaay harder so I mostly used premade houses.
Update
We left off with Will & Virginia moving to Willow Creek and throwing a house party to celebrate. Now it's time to meet the family and announce their engagement!
First up: Virginia's mom, Clarice Darling, and her chubby cat Dragon.
Virginia couldn't wait to see her childhood cat again. Now we know why Dragon's so chubby
And Clarice couldn't wait to meet Will! "So you're the handsome man I've heard so much about!"
It took all of about 2 seconds for Will to win her over, and she was even more happy to learn they set a wedding date. The engagement announcement was off to a great start!
Next up: Will's parents, Harold and Lauren Grayson, and their old schnauzer Scottie.
It didn't go quite so smoothly at Grayson Manor...
Will: "Mom, Dad, we have something to tell you. We're engaged!"
Lauren: "Well...that's....sudden. Is she pregnant?"
Will: "Mom! Alright, we're done here. The wedding is on Sunday, see you then."
The wedding day came, and all of their friends and family gathered for a small park wedding.
The ceremony was short and simple, yet beautiful.
Everyone enjoyed cake (made by the bride herself!) and drinks in the little reception area after. The newlyweds spent a lot of time with Clarice, who couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the wedding was, how excited she is to have a son in-law, and future babies of course...
I couldn't help but notice these love birds flirting all day. I ship it so hard
I don't know if it's because the wedding was at a park or what, but we had a LOT of wedding crashers... They invited seven guests and ended up with eleven
Will and Virginia didn't mind - they were in their own little world of love
Of course Lauren had other opinions on the whole ordeal though.
Lauren: "An outdoor wedding - I'm sure that was Virginia's idea, wasn't it? It's a little...rustic, don't you think? And who are all of these people?? This is why you get married in a church - with security!"
Will: "Mom, would you just have a drink and enjoy yourself for once?"
After the wedding, life went back to their usual routine of work, woohoo, sleep, repeat. Virginia is so adorable in all of her teacher outfits
She really cares about her kids' educations, to the point of failing a celeb student who just wasn't ready to move on. Will also cares about his clients more than his reputation, and he proved it when he revealed some family secrets rather than throwing a case. It did make him the talk of the town for a week or so, but his dad wasn't very happy about it He's totally not trying to get fired and find a job he really likes.
They're both doing well in their careers, but Will really seems to hate his. He comes home stressed every day, poor guy
Virginia organized a big Love Day date to try to cheer him up. They went to the Spice Festival in the big city!
They were both out of their element, but they had fun seeing the sights and trying new things. I've really gotta get these two out more
Virginia wasn't particularly good at blowing bubbles insert keg stand flashbacks from the grad party...
...but it was a fun date nonetheless. They ate some super spicy food, listened to street performers (they totally tipped the Britechester student - tuition ain't cheap lol), and flirted it up all night. It was perfect
The next morning wasn't quite as fun for Virginia - she woke up feeling sick to her stomach At first she thought it was the spicy food not settling right, but then she thought maybe it was something else...
Will suggested they get some fresh air, it might help settle her stomach, so they rode their bikes down to the park.
That's where she told him the truth: "We're pregnant!!"
Will couldn't have been happier Here's to the next adventure - parenthood!

I'm finally starting to think about playing again. Pneumonia is tough! It's still kicking my butt but I'm starting to have more energy. Definitely took advantage of the rest I'm getting this week from the long holiday and we got a snow day today so that was nice. I was even able to cook my turkey although I did all the shopping the day before! The update below is just the pictures that were in my folder before I stopped caring about everything

I love that she's so loving and showered it on Will right away. Mom goals Then Harold and Lauren and their pup. Well, they're doing their best. @ Everyone I haven't played my Families in a while. I should today. We are snowed in. I might put the Lion family on hold and concentrate on the Lambs (favorite) for a bit. Last I remember she's pregnant and will still be going to University, whether the kid-hating hubby likes it or not.

@Francisca464 Fawn as a pirate was cute. Her costar is just jealous of her success. lol Congratulations on her promotion. I agree it is very hard to get everyone to sit down for dinners during any holiday celebration. Awww poor Jace not receiving any good gifts. I think it is cute that your boyfriend built a venue. He did a great job. Congratulations on their graduation. I can't wait to send my kiddies off. Their house is beautiful. It is nice that Aurora can enjoy her children. I think Ridge is doing a great job with the kids. They are all so adorable. Awww Rory looked so sad, I am glad she has Emillia to spend time with. I love how the family was having so much fun during their spring outing. I am so jealous because RL weather is cold and gray right now. Jody and Rory are such cute kiddos.

I am glad you are feeling better. How cute Kelsey and her sister are preggos at the same time. I would have had a home birth too if a ghost doctor showed up. I cracked up at them talking to their little one about the going ons in the bedroom. The look on his face was priceless.

Ya'll...I'm so deep in the cc rabbit hole right now, I don't see the end in sight. Most likely two more days at minimum before I have it all sorted. Please convince me I don't need build/buy cc, because that'll add another day or two. There's just SO MUCH good stuff out there! Today I found a blog that does ts3 to ts4 conversions, and now I have all of my old favorite sims 3 dresses again. I'm so happy I could cry

@JordanNicoleJJ ... I'm pretty (like, 100%) sure that the number of roommates appearing on the lot depends on the amount of beds you placed there. If you want like just 3 or 4 roommates, put only 3 or 4 beds besides the one for your sims. You don't have to have 10 roommates if you don't want to. Anyway- what a great graduation party! omg all of the Becca drama, but I mean, it if helped clearing Will's mind then bring it on aaaaaaw the proposal I was not expecting it but it was so cute! In front of all of their friends too I'm so glad you managed to play through university already meanwhile I'm here screaming at the monitor like "GROW. UP. PLEASE." the new colonial house in willow creek is so cute! I'm loving it! The interior is so nicely decorated! the living room is such a fave, but the studio looked amazing too! And the upstair bedroom I'm so glad that Will and Virginia kept in touch with all of their friends! OMG I'm so glad you created their whole families! that's such an amazing thing to do! Clarice looks like such an amazing grandma, she's so sweet. Harold and Lauren feel like they're from a different world altogether. First thing I see as I open the game after a week is sorcerers taking over Willow Creek. Nice. That's the most random thing I've seen happening, I swear.
Anyway, back to the Austins. Considering that the kids are going to age up soon, I've been making them work extra hard on their homework and projects to grind good grades and skills. They all work at them together, Ridge included.
I'm obviously doing all of this for Rory, since he's the heir, but sometimes he's the biggest meanie to Emilia for reasons that remain unknown to me. Must be the mean phase.
E: "You should at least show some appreciation for the time that I'm wasting helping you finish all of these projects!"

Being the teen that she is, Emilia's already dealing with 21893727654 different phases of her own. Sometimes she gets hurt over a couple of harsh words and has to jump in the pool to cry over them. You know where she got all of this drama from *eyeroll* ammaright, Selene?
And speaking about drama & fame, I'm set on not having another superstar in game for a while, as long as none of my potential heirs get the aspiration. 'cause that's what I have to deal with on a daily basis: I'm ok with fans creeping outside the house, but sneaking inside from the backyard and entering the kids room... that's a no for me. Go, Aurora! Take her out!
One of the following days, I was super happy to see that one of Ridge kids decided to call him to hang out at the fastivals. She was also super pretty!
I immediately took the chance to send all of the fam at San Myshuno, but the girl was nowhere in sight ... I had hoped to have the kids get to know one another, but... oh well. She must have decided that she no longer cared about her cheater-dad. Overall, it was still a nice sunny day.
I was also hoping for the kids to geek out, especially Rory and his genius trait, but the huge geekcon tv had the priority. Also: yes. They're still going around in their pajamas 24/7. They just never want to dress up
Of course the day ended with a "special" karaoke night project karaoke 2.0
Back at home, I'm basically able to get 2 monsters under the bed at night. They just can't let the kiddos sleep in peace. Rory's the only one that loves hanging out with his monster. He even plays with it!

If the adults fail at sending the monsters away, at least the kids have Emilia on their side.
Speaking about Emilia, she's been spending much more time with mama Selene now that she's all grown up. Selene loves that her daughter's no longer a tiny & whiny kid, so she has decided to start tutoring her and preparing her acting skills. For the blonde clone, it's all worth it.
Jody, Rory and Clara kept on going to school in their pajamas...
They've also found a new club for kids so that they can do their homework together and have some fun at the same time. Rory invited all of his new friends.

Ridge can barely parent his own kids, so I really didn't have the will to parent somebody else's kid.

The first day of summer, I couldn't keep the fam at home and I rushed to get them back at the park. Maybe one day I'll get tired of this place
Emilia found a few fans, so she had to sign some autographs. Dad Mathias couldn't leave her side. He was set on freelancing as her bodyguard.
Not far away, Rory found his friends and club members. Violet rushed over there as soon as she spotted him playing.
I'm pretty sure they both have a huge crush on one another, but they're super young and totally oblivious
When she looks at him, he's always looking the other way, and as soon as she turns around, he can't but peek *facepalm*- it went on all afternoon, not even kidding.
They're all becoming such good friends and I'm loving it.

After focusing so much on the younger generation, I realized way too late that Aurora, Selene and Irene were about to turn into elders ... the day before their last birthday, I decided to change things a little. The kiddos were already living inside their swimsuits, so at least they were prepared
Off to Sulani! the last grand vacation before the triplets get all wrinkly and old. I got such an awesome sunny day in Sulani that I couldn't but feel blessed. I couldn't control myself and I took way too many pics - it's picspam time!

Chapter 58: Growing the Family
Kelsey lecturing her husband, about what I can’t remember but he was easy going as always.
Then she told him she was pregnant. His expression was disbelief but there was no sad face.
When Kelsey’s sister came over later, we discovered she too was pregnant. This little one in the front is Kelsey’s youngest sister Serena.
Lawrence had another big decision to make at work and he sold the movie rights.
Yes he gave up control of that series but now with his fame he knows the books he’s really wanted to write will be a huge success!
It was almost time for their new arrival so they threw a quick nursery together!
When it was time to go, they met at the hospital.
However, when a ghost doctor showed up (Mom has retired), they decided on an at home birth.
They welcomed a sweet baby girl they called Adeline.
Lawrence is already propositioning his wife!
They were on their way too woohoo fun when he had a panic attack? Is it that stinky diaper on the toddler? That would make me panic about woohoo too!
Nope, it was a slight hiccup but they still made it to the bed chamber!
Unfortunately, someone overheard and Lawrence had to explain to his son that nothing “bad” was happening.

It is nice that Aurora can enjoy her children. I think Ridge is doing a great job with the kids. They are all so adorable. Awww Rory looked so sad, I am glad she has Emillia to spend time with. I love how the family was having so much fun during their spring outing. I am so jealous because RL weather is cold and gray right now. Jody and Rory are such cute kiddos.

@JordanNicoleJJ ... I'm pretty (like, 100%) sure that the number of roommates appearing on the lot depends on the amount of beds you placed there. If you want like just 3 or 4 roommates, put only 3 or 4 beds besides the one for your sims. You don't have to have 10 roommates if you don't want to. Anyway- what a great graduation party!

First thing I see as I open the game after a week is sorcerers taking over Willow Creek. Nice. That's the most random thing I've seen happening, I swear.
Anyway, back to the Austins. Considering that the kids are going to age up soon, I've been making them work extra hard on their homework and projects to grind good grades and skills. They all work at them together, Ridge included.
I'm obviously doing all of this for Rory, since he's the heir, but sometimes he's the biggest meanie to Emilia for reasons that remain unknown to me. Must be the mean phase.
E: "You should at least show some appreciation for the time that I'm wasting helping you finish all of these projects!"
R: "As if I need any help with them. I'm the genius one, remember?"

Being the teen that she is, Emilia's already dealing with 21893727654 different phases of her own. Sometimes she gets hurt over a couple of harsh words and has to jump in the pool to cry over them. You know where she got all of this drama from *eyeroll* ammaright, Selene?
And speaking about drama & fame, I'm set on not having another superstar in game for a while, as long as none of my potential heirs get the aspiration. 'cause that's what I have to deal with on a daily basis: I'm ok with fans creeping outside the house, but sneaking inside from the backyard and entering the kids room... that's a no for me. Go, Aurora! Take her out!
One of the following days, I was super happy to see that one of Ridge kids decided to call him to hang out at the fastivals. She was also super pretty!
I immediately took the chance to send all of the fam at San Myshuno, but the girl was nowhere in sight
I was also hoping for the kids to geek out, especially Rory and his genius trait, but the huge geekcon tv had the priority. Also: yes. They're still going around in their pajamas 24/7. They just never want to dress up
Of course the day ended with a "special" karaoke night
Back at home, I'm basically able to get 2 monsters under the bed at night. They just can't let the kiddos sleep in peace. Rory's the only one that loves hanging out with his monster. He even plays with it!

If the adults fail at sending the monsters away, at least the kids have Emilia on their side.
Speaking about Emilia, she's been spending much more time with mama Selene now that she's all grown up. Selene loves that her daughter's no longer a tiny & whiny kid, so she has decided to start tutoring her and preparing her acting skills. For the blonde clone, it's all worth it.
Jody, Rory and Clara kept on going to school in their pajamas...
They've also found a new club for kids so that they can do their homework together and have some fun at the same time. Rory invited all of his new friends.

Ridge can barely parent his own kids, so I really didn't have the will to parent somebody else's kid.

Not sure whether I've already mentioned it or not, but I'm officially set on sending Rory to Foxbury. He's such a brilliant little sim that I can't wait to have him play around with robotics. He'll probably become an engineer once he's all grown up. For the time being, all he has going on are school projects and the... future cube thingie???

The first day of summer, I couldn't keep the fam at home and I rushed to get them back at the park. Maybe one day I'll get tired of this place
