Hello.
It depends on how you play the game, and the interests of your sims. Romantic gardens has very nice gardening items in the pack and the wishing well. Simmers have been making many nice gardening areas in their homes or creating parks using the pack items.
The ability to have our sims watch movies that comes with purchasing Movie Hangout is great, and the bohemian style furnishings are great you use in a variety of themed homes. Sims can also use the popcorn maker that came with the pack to make popcorn. .
These are links to guide about the stuff pack. They contain pictures of all the buy/build mode and CAS items in the packs, as well as information about the interactive items in the packs. They may help you decide which pack that you would like to buy. http://simsvip.com/sims-4-romantic-garden-guide/ http://simsvip.com/sims-4-movie-hangout-guide/
Both packs are very nice to purchase and use the items in our games
Just fyi, stuff packs don't seem to go on sale. I'd say the movie stuff offers more gameplay options while romantic garden is more fun for building. The movie stuff offers a bigger variety in items but its less versatile since the theme is fairly specific. I personally find myself using the romantic garden stuff more as a builder though.
i have both packs and still haven't dive into neither, i still need to eat ice cream from the kitchen pack, tell you the truth get to work and get to gather keeps me busy...
I guess I'm one of those fanboys of Sims. They could come out with anything, and I would be like "Take my money! I want it!"
They kind of went quiet recently with updates and whatnot (except for the spring challenge), does this mean they may be announcing a release for a game pack or expansion soon?

True, but maybe if jinerator is patient and the stuffpacks get old enough they might eventually go on sale too? Just a thought. :)
Hello It is great that you bought Movie Hangout! It is nice that your sims in your game are enjoying making and eating popcorn using the popcorn machine! I hope that you will soon be able to get Romantic Gardens also!
The next stuff pack will be a Kids stuff pack.
This link has a video about the upcoming game and stuff pack that will next be released. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/884785/a-look-ahead-for-spring-early-summer-2016
Happy simming!
They're both nice, but it depends on whether you focus on inside or outside. Romantic Gardens is good for outside, but I'd actually say Movie stuff adds more colour and furnishings to your house. I prefer to decorate my house inside, so I like Movie Hangout better.
For being 'romantic', there are shamefully few items that genuinely look romantic or add to the flirty emotion in RG. Mostly it's flowery things and plants, as if there aren't plenty of those in any other pack.
Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
Yesterday I purchased Games Packs Spa Day and Outdoor Retreat and also Stuff Packs Cool Kitchen and the Patio Set as well as Christmas Pack for free. @jinerator - your earlier comment about buying them in order of being released - I downloaded all 'new' in no particular order - have I mucked up my Sims4 game?

Not at all There's no order of adding needed for Sims 4.

Hello @LadysimPlayer8 It doesn't matter what order that you buy and install the packs in. It won't cause any game issues.
It is exciting that you now have these packs in your game! I hope that you have an enjoyable and fun Simming time exploring the features, activities and items that come with the packs!
Happy Simming!
@rosemow
Thank you for your reply and my piece of mind!
I know and always install The Sims, Sims2 in order of release date - Sims3 you may not have to, but I always do too.
Sims4 Limited Edition I bought when it was released but haven't got used to the controls (but trying to rectify this! ).
Do you know the release date order of the Sims4 packs?

Your game will be fine. You can get them in any order. I just tend to do that sort of thing with Sims games. I have bought them in order since the first Sims game...Livin' Large and House Party!

Now, I can't wait to get the romantic garden one.
Only one can imagine...what will be the next stuff pack? I'm hoping something like the 70s 80s 90s stuff pack from Sims 3
The next stuff pack will be a Kids stuff pack.

Maybe some type of outdoor gym, or a trampoline. I'm hoping there are some awesome clothes to add.
