    May Patch Speculation Thread 2024 (Patch Likely Next Week)

    May starts the new roadmap so the patch could be a big one. I'm hoping it's for a pre pool stuffpack.

      Electronic Arts Q4 and FY 2024 Earnings Conference Call will be on May 7th, maybe Maxis will announce the next roadmap.

      @catloverplayer while pool stuff sound fantastic as a stuff pack, my mind is praying for a Band expansion pack and fairies as a game pack like @KathMHughes got to post before I came across this thread 🤞🏼 anxious for this next road map

      My hopes for the next roadmap:
      • Bug fixes, lots and lots and lots of bugfixes.
      • Some more bug fixes.
      • Some CAS-kits with clothes for boring people like me, who like to tuck in their shirts, have knee-lenght skirts and jeans without holes in them.
      • A hotel expansion pack
      • Multi purpose lots as a base game update

      And some that I dare to dream but do not believe will come true:
      • News that they hired Carl to fix Dine out and My Wedding Stories
      • That the little free updates won't just be for base game but also for packs, and include everything from new items, to new aspirations, to added holiday traditions, resolutions, lifestyles, club activities and milestones
      • That all rabbit hole-careers in game are going to be turned into semi-active careers, and that new careers will be added both to packs and base game as they work through them
      • That children and children's behaviour and activities will get some TLC in the next few months
      • That late adult will be added as a lifestage
      • News that the shopping cart was a bad idea and will be instantly removed

      And yes a band pack would also be nice. I don't care so much for fairies, but I hope those of you who wants them gets them.
      Moreover, I advise that the cart button must be destroyed!

      I hope it’s very soon at any rate. It feels like we’ve been with the current roadmap for ages. I’m excited to find out what’s coming next.

      Bienchen saved my sanity again with her mod bug fix for this issue! The 100 Baby Challenge is hard enough without having to remember to cheat this reward trait for every kid!

      I've seen many a toddler age up and not getting this trait and even though they legitimately deserve it, for some reason cheating it feels wrong! lol

      Round Walls Ceiling Fix
      Half Width Walls ( see this thread )

      Don't forget toddlers and children. They should also be able to be to ride along in the side car. I still miss this option in the sulani boats.

      I think we’ll get things in the order they showed us in the roadmap — so patch/content drops first (maybe today?), then the kits (maybe June?), then the EP (end of July?). That would leave August clear for all the inevitable EP bug-fixing…
