Missed the rainbow but I was able to age them up just under the age group they are supposed to be, Eric put on his shoes & took off the ridiculous goth makeup he was wearing since he was young, (that supposed to me Eric Draven from the Crow), and they put on their weddings rings. This one is going on the mantel.
@Starfree, you are probably very right on this. It had been some time in between my builds. Since, I only had this revelation most recently. LOL (Don't worry, I'm only asleep at the wheel.)
It's taken me a couple of weeks, numerous do overs, and working through and around several build mode issues but I finally finished my Starlight Accolades venue.🙂
The first part, the coffee shop, is back on page 134. Well, the first floor anyway. I'll include some pictures of the second floor along with the awards show venue next door. I'll start with some day and night exterior shots...
Moving on, the next stop is the venue for the Accolades.
The first floor entryway...
The staircases on either side of the elevator lead to the awards ceremony hall and to the stairs up to the third floor lounge. The stairs in the last picture lead straight into the hall itself. Thanks to Ravasheen 'Uplifting Elevators' mod I have elevators on all three floors. They're teleportation devices but that's good enough.🙂
The hall where the awards will be handed out...hopefully. I say that because I haven't fully play tested it yet and this game is full of surprises.😬
There are 62 seats in the hall. In previous tests with the old venue I was trying to figure out why the celebs wouldn't sit in the seats at the back of the room instead of walking around aimlessly. I found out they won't take a seat that's more than 7 tiles away from the microphone. In this case every one of those 62 seats is within that 7 tile radius so we'll see how that goes. I need to go into MCCC and bump the lot limit for sims up. I have at 40 now and everything runs smooth on my heaviest cc lots so I'm crossing my fingers that it can handle this. Even if my computer can handle that many sims in one place God only knows what merry hell is going to be unleashed.🤣

I captured a really good family pic! My elders are getting ready to pass on and invited their kids sledding so they can gift them their inventories. I paused at just the right moment to catch all of them in one shot.

Adorable Charlie is very much loved by everyone in this family. Dina's husband Matt hugged him first thing in the morming.
Dina is ripped. She's always exercising.
Matt's adult daughter Ariel from his first marriage stopped by and helped her teenage sister Lucy (Dina & Matt's daughter) with homework.
Matt & Dina's alien daughter (result from Matt's abduction) Mysteria likes to sing karaoke. She went to spice festival with Lucy and Ariel and spent the whole night singing and completely ignored the other activities.
@DaniRose2143 You have such a wonderful knack when it comes to design. I like the clean lines of this build, the color palette you used. From Coffee Shop to the Awards Venue. Very nicely done. Hope you get a pleasant surprise when you play-test it.

the last more simple room was designed for a butler. He still has his own private bathroom.

One of my families before I gave them 4 more kids in edit mode, and one more child born in-game. Had a lot of fun mixing their genes, and wanted to show the parents, and their kids. They have a total of eleven kids now. Six made in CAS, four edited in, and one born in the game. They have four sons, and seven girls.
Some of my Sims also got married today, or remarried due to a CAS goof I made. One of the Sims I named Savannah Fox proposing to Johnny Zest. They eloped shortly after, and Savannah will be a mother soon.
Created Kagome to be with an Inuyasha I already made, but aged up. I gave them their daughter Moroha, but didn't link them as married. So, I had them go on a date, and married them.
