  • I cheat usually - I have no shame XD I feel like sims eating and sleeping is such a waste of time because it takes SO LONG to do everything else and then you can't build skills or improve your relationships with your family members because you don't have the time. So I use testing cheats and maximise their needs, then make…
  • I like big families! With an heir/founder, I'll find them a mate quite quickly and then just leave them as a couple for a while, working on skills and their relationship. Then when I start having kids, it's full steam ahead. By my sim's fourth week in Sunset Valley, she had a husband, two teenagers, a child, a toddler and…
  • I don't use it at all. The only additional content I have not from the actual games is from the store. I just feel like the risk of bugs and glitches is too high - I don't want to risk losing anything. Also the style of sims I prefer are catered for with all the things in game, I don't like the look of custom skins or a…
  • My sim did exactly this! He was the same level on the military track as well. I had him call work for a day off because he just would not go, and by the next day he was fine. I should have thought about that outfit thing!
  • Oh, also I've seemed to notice that the more generations you are into a family, the more diverse the children and less like the parents they are. The family I posted up there is my founder and her children, so there's not really much diversity to speak of. Though the children are a mix of the parents, they have genes just…
  • For me I think it can be either - but they're never really a mix of the two, always very like the mother or very like the father. Case in point: Layla, Christopher and their five children: Cora, Ruby, Cole and Toby are all very like their mother - Cora has their father's skin tone but other than that they're all very much…
  • Mikezumi, Blais is so good looking! He and Melody are such a cute couple (:
  • My sims family seem to be the best at dumb expressions XD The mother (layla) has many faces in her repertoire And her husband is equally ridiculous And their kids aren't any better: It just seems to be the girls, though. Adam (their son) is perfectly compliant when I want a nice picture XD
  • dorendia, Kiki is SO pretty! :D Okay guys, so I can't remember when I last updated, but here's another post for ya... Layla (founder) and Christopher's third child Ruby grew up into a teen, meaning they had three teenagers in the house. Layla also gave birth to their fifth child, another boy, who I named Toby. Once Ruby…
  • I've just switched to playing my gen 2 heir - and I've just started week six.
  • EEEEEEEEEEE Everyone's pets are so ADORABLE! I'm a huge animal lover; I have six cats :D This is Alife, the oldest. Also known as Snuggles, Bubs, Baby Boy and Cuddles This is Derrick, the bird catcher of the house Oscar, who is a little terror sometimes (you can just tell from his face - can't you?) Poppy, our shy little…
  • Aww, well congrats to Starlet! I LOVE her daughters' names :D
  • Personally I don't think I'd like it very much. I'm very sentimental and I don't deal with change well; which is why I still use Sunset Valley and I didn't like going to the countries in WA. I think it'd just be too much of a change for me, and plus, my legacy family would progress while someone was at college, which I…
  • I only have one. I'm doing a legacy, so I tend to love to play that family and get some progress (: I used to have another save slot which I used for building and stuff, but I don't really do that anymore.
  • Hey guys, here are some interiors of a new house I'm building - only my second since I re-installed my game. Generally when I'm building, I have colourful walls and white furniture and that's pretty much it, so I decided to mix it up. This is the house that my 2nd gen heir is going to move into with her boyfriend soon. I…
  • I just love sim babies and pregnancies - my sims can't seem to stop having kids! This is Christopher listening to their first baby in his wife Layla's belly. This is Cora (the aforementioned) first baby feeling the second baby (a boy who was named Adam) before he was born. And this is Ruby (the third baby) feeling Layla's…
  • Woah, so much to catch up on! Everyone's sims are SO gorgeous :3 In my game, little toddler Adam grew up into a child; he's cute enough, I guess: Still no idea where all that dark hair came from! Cora and her now-boyfriend Jace have been growing ever closer: In fact, they went to prom together, where she won Prom Queen:…
  • Well, there are lots of different aspects to the game, and different people enjoy different parts. Some people HATE building houses and just like making Sims. Some hate Sim making and adore just the actual gameplay. Some love building but not much else. I'm a little bit of everything, so I can (and have) played for up to…
  • Sunset Valley for sure! I have a really huge emotional attachment to it since it was the first one, and for a long time the only one that I played. If I could live in the Sims, it would be my choice. So pretty and so perfect :D
  • So I just played for a little while and I made a new family with a child son. He grew up into a teen almost as soon as I started live mode, and he was cute. Like, REALLY cute. And I figured I had a girl teen sim who needed a prom date, so off to Cora's house he went. In short they met: And chatted and flirted: He gave her…
  • You might even get pink, green or some other crazy colour in there because of mutations. In my old legacy, generation 2 had 6 kids, gen 3 had 5 and gen 4 had 6. And the last member of generation four was the ONLY person ever in that whole family tree to have brown eyes. All the other people in her family ever had green or…
  • Hmmm, it could be some CC or a mod that you've downloaded and it's messed up your game. You might have more luck in the tech section of the forum, though. They really know their stuff over there (:
  • Usually cooking. Because lack of prowess in other skills doesn't kill their family. Other than that, it's always whatever skills they need for their job.
  • Hmm, all interesting ideas! I do love the idea of creating a few and just putting them into the town, sounds like a plan! (: And as for the ones she doesn't end up with, I guess they can put those good genes to use and create partners for her children :D
  • I played TS1 then TS2, and when 3 was announced I totally flipped out. It was all the things I loved to do (day-to-day gameplay, creating sims, building) all put into one and made ten times better. To be honest, I don't even know how I put up with 1 or 2 now that I've seen what's technologically possible :D
  • I definitely use Generations the most. I think it really depends on how you play your game, though, as to which one you should buy. For me, I'm doing a cheat's legacy, so I love all of those things that make everyday family life more exciting. I have WA, and I was so excited for it beforehand. But I found that once I had…
  • Thank you guys! :3 I aged Cora up into a teen: Think it's safe to say I'm DEFINITELY keeping her for my heir! Now all I have to worry about it getting her skills high, choosing a career for her, keeping her grades up, finding a boyfriend and/or prom date for her... Oh god it's like reliving my high school years -_-
  • Sweet baby Cora aged up into a child! I think she's so cute ^_^ The night before her new sibling arrived, the family had some bonding time around the fire pit, just mom, Cora and dad. Cora's also decided that she likes to dress up, especially as an astronaut, because that's what her Daddy's gonna be some day (: And the new…
  • From my experience, there's no way to make a sim exactly like a real person because it's the minute details in real people that make us all so different. In sims getting those tiny, tiny details right just isn't possible. I've found the best way to get a sim to look like someone is to exaggerate their most prominent…
