I played TS1 then TS2, and when 3 was announced I totally flipped out. It was all the things I loved to do (day-to-day gameplay, creating sims, building) all put into one and made ten times better. To be honest, I don't even know how I put up with 1 or 2 now that I've seen what's technologically possible :D
