Thank you for the opportunity! Fall You’re like a leaf dropping from a tree: totally down to earth. You’re the go-to confidant when loved ones need advice because you have the much-appreciated skill of seeing both sides of an argument and offering a logical solution. You sometimes get in trouble when you don’t…
I get an error saying I did not enter my information correctly (which I did.) Tried about 10 times. All failed. The EA support technician was great but we tried everything and could not get it to work (different browser, him trying to order from his end, etc.) Now I could order from Origin but would not get any mystery…
Exactly what the above post mentioned.I ended up selling all my hard copies of the games and buying them again on Steam since they usually have 50-75% off the original price. I ended up saving money in the end if that is possible lol.
Well that little tidbit does not make me feel positive at all. It was an old saved file right? I still plan to start a new town again and see if the glitch reappears. I just have no motivation right now because I am sick of making new towns only to have the aging problem reappear again and again!
I recently installed the new patch and went to play both my towns that had the aging issue. Nothing has changed but I read that usually with a patch (and issues are large as the aging one) you have to start a new save file to see if the issue is fixed. Looks like I am starting over AGAIN.
It is not that they don't age into the next stage, it is the fact that the age bar does not move at all. My baby just turned into a toddler and has 5 days left to become a child so I would not use the birthday cake on him. However, he just stays at 5 days left no matter how Sim days go by. It is really frustrating. And as…
My IF was still around when my Sim turned into a young adult. She quickly learned the potion and changed her IF when she was a young adult. I was worried myself that he would disappear when she aged because really, at her age she should not have imaginary friends anymore :) They did always have a good relationship so maybe…
When I turned my IF into a Sim, he had the family's last name (ie. my household name was Winters so his name was Casper Winters). However, I just took him to city hall and switched it to Smith (lol generic but technically he just dropped in off the face off the planet).
Thought I would bump this and explain that I have the aging problem in my town (Sims age bar will not move.) It is sad because my imaginary friend and his wife are long dead and their children have decided to have children. Only one of the 3 kids (the last one before my female Sim died "suddenly") has received the…
Ohh I lost my legacy loooonnggg ago lol. If cheats are going to save your family, I say go for it :) On another note, I decided to go into my town again that has the "Age bug" and found that they aged for one day but the next day they did not. I figure for now I will just pop in each day and age them slowly one day at a…
I began replaying a saved game I already had started and it is working fine. But that is annoying about elders!! Usually I go around killing them all off but I could not imagine them never dying.
I noticed that even WHEN my Sims age bar progressed, the mother's would not. Ex: Mother= 11 days until elder Father= 6 days until elder Daughter= 2 days until child My clock would pass midnight and the father and daughter would move forward with their age while the mother's stayed at 11 days. I just killed her off…
Okay I just had to restart my computer and afterwards decided to try the Sims one more time. Low and behold the age bar actually moved again. I don't get it. I didn't change any settings. Like I said, I am going to fool around with my options so I will post here asap.
I have the same problem. At first I thought saving before midnight just in case they did not age again. I tried that once, restarted the game and they aged but that was only the one time. Since then, my Sims age bar has not moved!! My toddler has been TWO days from aging for 3 days now. I have cc but no mods; never had an…
I haven't used any cheats but who knows, there could be multiple reasons for the age bar not progressing. It is just frustrating because the whole point of the game (well, my game at least) is to live life and then die.
Spunxter is correct, you don't really "need" the logic skill, you just have to discover the potion which in doing so leads to you learning the logic skill. I had my Sims mother make the potion for them and give it to them as gifts so they could change their friends over. It worked perfectly, so you just need the potion…
Just a heads up, to turn them real you need a really good relationship with the imaginary friend plus the potion from the chemistry set (which your Sim needs to learn) :)
Mood swings are the typical teenage mood swings lol. My one teen threw a house party and all 3 teens got grounded. Two wormed their way out with forgiveness but not the last. She proceeded to get moody the next day. Works like the midlife crisis, they want to perform certain tasks within that 12 hours or so (ex. throw eggs…
That is depressing that we cannot see a screen shot of him. I would love to see him. Maybe use the print screen button and then paste the picture into Paint of another program?
