I’ve never messed around with MCC too much in regards to making days last longer, can somebody explain this a little to me as this might be helpful for me?
have you ever used the Explorer Mod? It’s quite useful I feel. A lot of the time I don’t tend to sends my sims out to lots and instead I have them go do things through the explorer mod. So it sends them off to do whatever you’ve chosen to do and honestly the choices are endless (cinema, classes, gym, pick up takeout etc)…
@greeneyedsims1 so with this mod if I downloaded it do I always NEED to purchase ingredients if I want to cook something? I like the idea of the mod especially for baking but I would personally like to sometimes be able to just cook something without having to shop for ingredients even if it costs the sim extra money.
@pixiejuice what else does this mod do? Just I don’t reallt want it changing too much really just the point that it would allow me to buy ingredients :)
Thanks guys! I’ll bare that in mind about SIMDOM :/ also does anybody know if Pose Player was updated for latest patch and where to download this from?
@So_Money awesome thank you! Honestly I might just do this anyway I’ve been dying to play around with creating my own CC. hopefully I can find some tutorial online to do it, not sure exactly how to do a lot considering I don’t wanna overwrite some objects if that’s even a thing?
QUICK QUESTION so I took everyone’s advice on board and I’m gonna use my HDD for sims until I upgrade my SSD just for safety of space. My pc arrived today and my C drive is the SSD. I’ve moved all locations for origin to install on D Drive (HDD) but is there a way to get my Electronic Arts folder to be on the D drive?
No problem thanks for the feedback guys! I’m sure it will be fine to run on HDD for now although if I do eventually upgrade (which I will) is it quite easy to change the SSD in your PC? (I’m no expert)
@Zeldaboy180 thanks for your comment and feedback! It’s nice to know it will last me a long time. Tbf I’ll play a few other games but it is mainly for sims. Also question everybody, Could I really not install Sims on a 250GB SSD? Is that really not enough storage? For sims 4 is SSD vs HDD much different that I would be…
aw awesome @Writin_Reg I’m completely upgrading my current PC and I’m just hoping to see a good difference and hoping I’m making the right choice in upgrading. these are a few of my current specs if you have the knowledge to reassure me I’m making the right choice haha. Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit System…
to add : Please if you know a lot about computers just be honest with me, I don’t know too much so I’m all stressed over whether I’m making a good decision xD
@Colton147147 No problem at all you’re honestly my only hope of help atm so I appreciate it so much!! so this is because the RAM matches my processor and motherboard? XD sorry I just want to get to know a little bit about these things haha.
@Colton147147 I’m about to purchase the RAM i linked previously. Is there any checks you would recommend me doing before purchasing or are you positive that is the correct RAM for my PC? sorry I just wish I knew how to check these things myself.
The idea of open world is cool I suppose and it was a nice change in sims 3 but loading screens quite frankly don’t bother me at all considering open world caused a lot of issues for me personally in Sims 3. I feel Sims 4 is a lot better than Sims 3 because it’s not open world and it doesn’t lag and glitch like sims 3 did…
@Colton147147 no problem thank you! so it doesn’t need to be a certain size width or whatever? As long as it’s DDR3 and 16GB? Sorry for all the questions.
sorry, @ChelleJo or @Colton147147 is this the correct RAM you guys were talking about? I was looking on amazon but a lot look different xD Corsair CMY16GX3M2A1600C9R Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit Red…
