@dlarlQma If I am understanding your question correctly, it will depend on the wall size you are using. If you want a 3 x 3 size stair well you will to use the smallest wall size.
It's understandable there should be a gap as columns only cover walls and you are trying to cover part of the roof as well. Either change the style of roof or have a flat roof. As far as your second issue, columns can't hang half off the wall. They must either be flat against the wall or wrap around the corner. You are…
Once again we are using the small wall to make a room 3 x 8. Copy the room and place a second and third storey. Page up to the third floor and draw a fence across the back one square in then delete the 3rd and the second floor using the hammer. Delete one section of fence next to the side wall. If the floor returns just…
Before we start I need to explain: for some reason the game is not capturing the UI in my pictures even though I have it checked to do so. One thing you may not be aware of if you don't do a lot of building is we have the ability to "copy" rooms, walls etc when they are selected. It works the same way as the "move" button…
It's a free update @giggler36 that allows you to make "L" and "U" shaped stairs. Getting that "open to the floor below" look @Pebblycat can be frustrating even for accomplished builders due to the inability to delete one square at a time. I personally don't know of any real "tricks" to it other than deciding what you want…
That looks like it is simply built over two floors with the landing on the second floor fenced off and the floor removed. My "Crimson Peak" house uses a similar structure. You can look it up on the Gallery (my Origin ID is sawdust123) or just search "Crimson Peak".
Something else worth noting is that not all the different shapes are exactly the same for each different type of counter/cabinet. Eg. The left and right end counters for the base game modern are triangular shape. It's worth fiddling around and looking at the different types you can put together.
Not sure what you mean by lower half and top half. Are you talking about counters which go on the floor and cabinets which go on the wall? If you look at the picture above (in the other post) the coloured cupboards are the cabinets that go on the wall. You can slide them up and down the wall to place them. You will need to…
That's because emotion is the same from one person to the next. Sad is sad, angry is angry no matter who it is. The difference lies in what makes us feel the way we do and how we express it. As the game doesn't distinguish on cause or expression it makes everyone look exactly the same. It's personality that "colours"…
How on earth does any of that make a difference for players? Might be great for programmers but doesn't make a 🐸🐸🐸🐸 bit of difference for players if we're not getting the depth of game play we want. Once again all you are proving is Sims 4 is a game designed to look pretty. Meh! I prefer to look at my Elder Scrolls or…
The final piece of my makeover. This is where the Lewis household live by default. It has the castle on the large 50x50 lot and the Training Grounds on the smaller lot. See more pictures here. Grandham Castle is home to the Queen and her entourage. Once again @Jendowoz0612 (Origin ID: Jendowoz) has created the Sims for…
I don't have the pack but I was interested to see that Kava is included. Considering they go to lengths to keep the game family oriented I wonder if they know Kava is illegal here in the Territory and is on the controlled substance list for the rest of Australia. (It might be banned in one other state but not sure)
I have a couple of lots with houses that are showing up as Generic on map view but Residential when you go into the lot. I seem to recall this Generic lot issue happening once before, or at least something similar. I tried placing the residential build again hoping that would kick in the change but nothing happened. I also…
Part five of my Medieval Makeover of Willow Creek takes us to the wealthy end of town (the neighbourhood where the Goth's live by default). This area is filled with merchants and artisans. Beginning on the 30 x 40 lot next door to the Goths and working our way clockwise around the area, we begin with .... More pictures…
A friend of mine sent me a link to this thread. I don't know if you're interested but I am currently doing a Medieval makeover of Willow Creek. I build and my friend makes the Sims. This is a link to my thread with both lots and Sims. My Origin Id is sawdust123 and my friend's Origin ID is Jendowoz. It's all CC free and on…
